I had a brilliant 3 nights stay at Hostal Live Natura Barcelona. First of all, great location a couple of blocks from La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia. Passeig de Gràcia train station (underground) have direct connections to the airport, Girona, Figueres etc, so no need to drag your suitcase around the city. I stayed in a single room (number 7) with window to the inner yard, it was quiet and I slept well. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day, which I didn't expect to be honest. So clean! The shower had good water pressure, the air conditioning was functioning perfectly, and there was even a little fridge in the room to keep those water bottles cool in Barcelona's July heat! I would definitely stay again in Hostal Live Natura Barcelona

Staff were super friendly and sweet. The location is absolutely perfect for getting around the centre of Barcelona. Also close to a metro for travelling further out & close to the Aerobus for airport transfer. Dream location. Pictures were exactly as the room appeared in real life.

There is zero natural light in the small solo room, so it is somewhat depressing, but you’ll be out during the day anyway so it’s manageable. The smell of the soap in the dispensers really made me feel nauseous, it’s very strange & savoury. Would recommend buying your own as a guest to bring. But these are small things, I really enjoyed my stay here regardless.

We had a really lovely stay. The room was mostly clean, terrace was a bonus, location was perfect (so central), staff friendly, picked up a discount for the Banksy museum, bed really comfy and overall brilliant value for money.

Bit of an odd smell in the bathroom (might’ve been the drain) and had a few hiccups checking in (but there was so much around the hostel it wasn’t much of an inconvenience).

The cleanliness and the value for money. The staff named Cathy was accommodating and hospitable. The bathroom was superbly clean which is one thing that I usually check on every property I stay. The bed was comfortable that you would doze right off as you lie down to it. It was a hidden gem in the heart for Barcelona, no wonder it gets fully booked all the time.

Although I have no issues about anything wanted to suggest for the shower area to be extended at least half a meter more It was little bit too small that my shoulders would hit the wall. There were plenty of space between the toilet area.

Location is amazing. It is walking distance to Casa Batilo, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia and easy bus / metro ride to Parc Guell, Palau Guell, Barcelona Cathedral, Montjuic castle, Placa Espana (for Montserrat). Getting here from the airport was super easy using RENFE train. There are many nice restaurants in the area - our favorite being Casa Amalia and Vintuis! The staff (Anna) was very helpful telling us the best exit from Passeige de Gracia Highly recommend this hotel for excellent location and good customer service

Very good value for money. The location is excellent, exactly in the city center very close to all the main attractions and in a good neighborhood. The host was very kind, she allowed us to store our luggage over the last day after checkout before the late flight.

The property is a great location and base for exploring the city. We had a room with a terrace and it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine. The bed was very big and comfortable. Staff were polite and rooms cleaned to a good standard everyday. Wifi also good. Would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking for something basic yet clean and comfortable. Great blackout curtains for a good sleep.

The smell of drains was quite strong in our room at certain points in the day which wasn’t pleasant but maybe cannot be helped. Other than that a clean hotel room.

We had a very nice stay. The hostal has everything you need in Barcelona: central location; lots of restaurants, markets, stores close by; close to metro/ train stations; building with elevator; easy check in / out process; spacious room; VERY comfortable bed; friendly staff.

Bathroom was clogged (both the shower space and the sink) in the first day but the issue was quickly solved by the front desk team. The only 'problem' is that the front desk only operates between 1-3pm, so if you need to leave your luggage before check in or after check out they offer you to store it in another property, which is 20 minutes away - and it doesn't make much sense if you need to come back to Plaza Catalunya area to catch the bus/ metro/ train to go to the airport.

Lovely location, everything was walking distance away. The room was cleaned every day, towels replaced, etc. Comfy bed, the staff were very nice.

A bit pricey considering no meals were included but justified because of the location. The shower drain is a bit slow and sometimes it would cause a flood in the bathroom if taking a longer shower. The sound isolation could be better as we were able to hear people coming and going, banging the doors at all hours of the night.

- the location is close enough to attractions of the city. - reception people are nice and helpful. - the room is small but functional. - having a kettle is a plus.

- the room window was covered with film to provide privacy from the inner courtyard but it makes the room claustrophobic. - the shower floor wasn't look clean enough but it was mostly because of the wear. - the air freshner smells so strong that it could make sensitive ones nauseous. it made all my staff smell like that for the next day:) it in my opinion the facility is clean enough so it's not necessary anyway.
