It was very close to the metro and bus stops. Walkable distance to Sagrada Familia, Casa Milo and has a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room is spacious and clean. I was especially surprised at how big the lockers were.
There is a guy who works there who was welcoming and friendly to other guests but not towards Asians (it seems). He doesn’t even acknowledge my presence when i ask him about stuff or when i greet him. It made the atmosphere unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Ideally located in the city centre, easily accessible to sightseeing spots like Sagrada Familia and metro stations. Rooms were very comfy, lockers had plenty of space which was a plus. The hostel was also very good at organising events/activities like dinners, tours and barcrawls, so very supportive if you're a solo traveller looking to meet new people.
The rooms were very stuffy at times, and the air-con would turn off automatically after 10 min or so, not sure if that could be changed...

Clean rooms, and bathrooms including shared toilets apart the rooms of staying, corridors, kitchen. Comfortable coworking/lounge area with the big table, assessable plugs and fast WiFi. Whom wants or likes can work or chill on sofas. Hostel has rooftop with mini bar for sunbath, yoga or just chill. Hostel is adapted for the disabled. Hostel has walking tours and pub crawls. Nice experience not only for those whom are traveling with friends, but for solo travellers especially. Food provided by hostel: breakfast - buffet that has choices: ham, omelette, fruits, cereal, drinks and etc. Dinners: everyday it is different meal with desert and ring, always have option for vegetarians and for persons with special dietary needs. Professional and helpful staff of the hostel. Solves problems, always gives advice if you asking something and generally spends/shares time with each guest.
There is always where to improove, but I think the management/employees themselves know where. I'm satisfied with the staying

My stay at Barcelona Hostel exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were comfortable and clean; the staff was very friendly and always happy to help. It was my first time staying at a hostel, and frankly, I didn't expect to feel so safe and comfortable. 9pm dinners and open buffet breakfasts were a great value for the money and I met so many enthusiastic travelers!
Although I brought my own white towel to the hostel, the cleaning staff mistaken it for the hostel towel and took it from my room. I reported it to the staff at reception, but they didn't return my towel, saying that it was sent to the laundry room :( This made the continuation of my trip through Europe a bit uncomfortable, since in all the other cities I stayed, I always had to borrow/rent a towel, which I wasn't intending to do. Also, PLEASE be careful with the sockets at the hostel room! I believe a short circuit occurred when charging my phone, which is why it broke. I'm not sure if it was because of the hostel facility or the general electricity supply in Barcelona, so please just be aware that such situations can happen.

Everything went very smoothly, check-in, stay, check-out. Staff was friendly and helpful. I especially liked the cleanliness, they were cleaning the rooms every day. The bed was very comfortable. The storage drawer was big enough for my backpack AND luggage (bring your own padlock). Common areas were also nicely designed. The location is very good, very close to everything yet still quiet. The air conditioning was very appreciated, and it was surprisingly quiet. Overall, one of the best hostels I stayed in.
The room key is a stiff bracelet, which was a bit inconvenient (well, thanks to that I never forgot it anywhere 😁).

The people is what makes this place special. The energy of this place is indescribable, you just have to experience it. Smiles all around, people welcoming you to sit down and chat with them, wanting to know more about you and your story. I’ve made new friendships with people from all over the world. Thank you to the beautiful staff for the kindness and help I’ve received during my stay, especially to Pablito the manager for creating such wonderful community in the first place, your hard work and big heart are showing in this place and they’re appreciated! More technical side of my opinion: the beds were more comfortable than in most hotels I’ve stayed in, not to mention other hostels. It was a very big but pleasant surprise. The curtains provided more privacy than I could expect, the material is thick and dark so it blacks out the light very well. Bathroom was also surprising because it was divided into 3 rooms (shower, toilet and sink), very convenient when you share the space with others. The common spaces were amazing, rooftop with a small pool and view of the city was absolutely stunning and fun to chat and meet other people. The dinners with open bar and 3 course meals - insane. The localization honestly couldn’t be better - 3 minutes to a bus stop that takes you directly to the beach, 2 minutes to metro, Sagrada Familia 15 minutes of strolling through the city away. I could go on and on about this place, but no words can describe it. I didn’t expect to find a place that I will want to revisit, but I can’t imagine coming back to Barcelona and not staying with you guys. THANK YOU

I arrived on Apr 28th duing the power outrage. They could not check my reseration and I could not check my email either as there was no internet. I was mistakenly allocated in a 6-bed dormintory. The next day I found that my original booking was in 4-bed dormintory and i tlaked with them. The result was they paid me back the room rate difference.
The girl in my room made a phone call to her boyfriend and was still talking after 11:00pm. It should be better if there is any reminder in the room to say keep quite after 10:00pm

It’s comfortable, good location, nice staff, nice lounge area to chill, good breakfast and dinner options. Great WiFi coverage and speed. Has washing machine and dryer which is lacking in other places and affordable.
Couldn’t accommodate my request for bottom bunk bed even for advance request. There needs to be a way to manage humidity and wet floor after a shower in the dorm like a floor mat, airflow which doesn’t dry the air. Dinner is 9pm which is quite late for those not used to the late dinner and then having to go to bed on a full stomach. Would be glad if this was moved to 8pm or earlier.

Bed is comfortable in the 6 dorm room, lower bunk bed has curtain for privacy, the dorm room size is comfortable, the hallway is wide enough (I have been to many hostels, you know some hostel room are very small or crowded),Location is great, 1.1km walk from Sagrada Familia, 210 meters from metro station Verdaguer. Good View if your dorm room is on higher floor and facing the street. The room door is kind of Card reader door which is convenient and smart.
There isn't enough headroom between the bunks, which can cause you to hit your head. Kitchen and dining area is not really available for dinner/breakfast time as the hostel staff always occupy the kitchen (because hostel offer paid dinner and paid breakfast). One bathroom+toilet in the dorm room, the door of the bathroom can not be locked properly and makes noise. We were not lucky to have some German roommates who came back after midnight at 2-5AM during two nights, making noise to take showers and talk. well, this is not the hostel's fault though. You may ask for ear plug at reception.

Location is perfect for visiting every corner of Barcelona because the convenient access to the bus or subway. Also the Lidl supermarket is very close and helpful with the fridge in the kitchen. Staffs are so welcoming and kind to make you feel seems like staying in friend 's house. Room is super clean! Met many fun roommates and travelers, thank you for giving me a wonderful memories of Barcelona 😊
A Chinese roommate is awful because she tried to bring her boyfriend into the female dorms. Fortunately her Chinese boyfriend knows that's ridiculous and stop doing that.
