I had a great stay at your hotel, especially enjoying the activities, pool, daily room cleaning, and the beautiful rocky beach nearby. The complimentary birthday card was a lovely touch, and I appreciate it.

However, I must mention a significant issue that occurred at the restaurant/bar next to the pool near the rocky beach on the 25th of September. When I went to get my complimentary drinks there, the woman was exceptionally rude, with a tone that left me feeling uncomfortable (but I still managed to keep my cool and tried to smile). In fact, I regretted even getting the complimentary drinks due to her behavior. It's important to address such incidents to ensure a more pleasant experience for all guests. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but this encounter left a negative impression.

The grounds, location, room layout and the balcony are all fantastic.

I cannot believe that they charge to use a safe that is already installed in the room! That is sharp practice. They also charge for pool towels, which, again they should really consider as part of the service. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge, which means you cannot have ice, or store anything that needs to be kept frozen, which, given that these are basic self catering units, this should have been considered. Looking at other reviews, these points come up again and again as negatives in what otherwise is an excellent choice for Cala D'or. I think the hotel should really consider making these few changes, and they may find that their review score improves considerably.

Excellent location. All services near. Great scenery. Area was nice and quiet although fairly big hotel. Our room was on the road side but it was still very quiet. Pool was good, enjoyed swimming in the sea from the platform right in front of the hotel and also sandy beach was near (Cala Esmeralda). We had half board and it was definitely worth it, lots of variety at both breakfast and dinner. Friendly service.

Stayed in an older room that was not yet renovated. It was ok and not a surprise to us. Pricing for any extra service not included in the reservation was on the high side in my opinion. There was some mix-up with the reservation when checking in, but the hotel staff sorted it out quickly. Restaurant was a bit noisy and crowded at times as the hotel was quite full.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the room is clean and cozy, everything is completely consistent with the photo. The view of the garden was just wonderful, the room was cleaned every day. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, all in greenery, clean and well-groomed. Our family is very happy that we chose this hotel, we want to come back here again and again. Near the hotel there is everything and cafes, and shops, a bus stop. The sea is a separate topic, it was gorgeous, the color of the water is mesmerizing, beautiful bays, there is a sandy beach nearby. I don’t know what else to add, it was a wonderful holiday. We were from October 16-23, the weather was warm, both day and night, the sea was warm and crystal clear. Thanks to all the staff for this fairy tale.

There is nothing that I didn’t like

Amazing location and great complex. We had a one bed apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea and the jump rock. Very quiet and peaceful, no neighbours each side. Two pools for families, great family entertainment in the evening, two restaurants and three beach type bars. Two kids play areas. Kids club. Small supermarket on site with fresh bread/croissants in the morning. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Excellent beach bars with fantastic views.

The room we were in was a little dated and the block we were in had no lifts. We had to carry our suitcases up 6 flights of stairs in 30 degree plus heat with two small kids and no help offered by the hotel. Had to keep asking the cleaners to clean the room even though we hung the ‘clean room’ sign. Towels only changed when asked. Had to pay for the use of the safe which feels morally wrong and not seen this elsewhere. Have to hire beach towels and can’t use the towels provided for the room (luckily we took our own). Wish they had an evening a la carte restaurant option rather than the buffet type option as although loads of choice the buffet option gets a bit boring/same dishes rolled out over a week.

We stayed in the newly renovated block on the ground floor and it had everything we needed. We didn’t have a view (just the road and rest of hotel opposite) but that didn’t matter as we were never in the apartment for long and still enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. The curtains were great at blocking out the sun, and the bathroom was lovely- it all felt very new and modern. The kitchen is very small so only good for making the odd meal and for having breakfast. The beds are strange that they aren’t a double they are two singles pushed together but this seems to be common in Mallorca. The pool options are good and the local beach is lovely- it was crowded the first day we went which we were surprised by in October- not sure what it’s like during school holidays. But we went back again a few days later in the morning and it was perfect.

The main road that leads to the resort is very tacky- some people will love all those inflatables and arcades on holiday but it wasn’t for us. We had just come from port de Pollenca which has a very different vibe. The local restaurants also weren’t great and we felt the prices did not reflect the quality of food, obviously this is not the hotels fault but it would put us off going back to this area. And the restaurant in the hotel got bad reviews so we never tried it- if the resort had a nice selection of cafes/ restaurants it would have the whole package. Oh we also didn’t like the process of having to hire beach towels each day for £1.50 each and putting down a £15 cash deposit for each towel. Kind of cheapened the experience but probably have their reasons for doing it.

The location was fabulous, the resort was set right on the coastline and the views were amazing, it was also so close to lots of shops and restaurants. Our accomodation was gorgeous we were in a superior apartment and it was lovely, very modern, very comfy beds and extremely clean, Conchy cleaned our room everyday and done such a great job, she was so friendly, it was such a treat.

There is not much I didn't like, but my main complaint would be that there wasn't enough for older kids to do ...inflatables were not allowed in the pool, in the evenings my 11 year old was bored, he was too old for the evening entertainment and there is only so much mini golf and pool you can play. We had breakfast included, it was nice but could have been more diverse, also brand products like kinder nutella and heinz ketchup was a request from my kids.

The location is absolutely incredible, no more then a 10 min walk to the centre which has plenty of restaurants and bars but is also less than a 2 min walk to Cala Esmeralda beach but also has direct access to Cala Fererra. The local bus and electric train goes from right outside reception also!

Our double apartment was two single beds pushed together which isn’t a deal breaker but was annoying. Some of the apartments have been redecorated however we had one of the older apartments. Nothing particularly wrong with it but just that it was dated but everything functioned as it should

Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking was a bonus! Close to the beaches. Having the kitchenette was great for self catering and there are numerous supermarkets near by. We chose to self cater most meals on our balcony as the restaurants close by were very touristy, but they would probably appeal to families. ☺️ Amenities galore - perfect for families. As we are a couple it was great to be allowed access to the adults only pool of the Esmeralda, which I’d recommend booking if you’re looking for a quieter stay. Our room/balcony was fairly noisey as it overlooked one of the family pools and restaurant.

Room was a little dated. There was no water at all at one point of our stay, however, we went out and it was fixed by the time we got back. Aircon had a set minimum temperature, the room felt too hot for us over night.

This is a great location for families and it has something for everyone. The food was good enough but the really great thing about this stay was the location. Our room had a million dollar view overlooking the cliffs and the sea. We could walk down in 30 seconds and jump into the sea! But, we didn't have a lot of privacy because we were on the ground floor. I would stay here again, it is touristy but the kids really liked all the amenities and the cliff jumping was amazing! If we come again I would request a room that is not on the ground floor.

The beach was very crowded with some trash around. They had someone cleaning the garbage cans on the beach. They really need a beach clean up crew as well. Also after storms there is quite a bit of trash floating in the water by the cliff jumping. Someone could easily fish it out with a net so that guests are not swimming in trash. This is of course not the fault of the resort, it is just a detail that could easily be addressed to make the experience better. Also they need to put a water fountain in the gym and gym towels.
