It was very clean, all areas of the hotel were immaculate. Lovely, smiley staff every day, brilliant location to the esmeralda, 2 lovely beaches and the square and shops. Great big one bedroom apartment with all the kitchen equipment we needed, full size kettle and toaster, hob and fridge we needed with two young children also had a working tv with english channels, big open but very safe balcony (we were on ground floor away from the poolside) so the room was always very cool. Had a walk down to the sister hotel a few times where you can use the facilities there to mix up the days as well as visiting both beaches, Would definitely stay here again when we return, thank you!

Everything was perfect for us

Very well located with two shops close by, Cala Gran beach within a 5 min walk and main town area with loads of food options only a 10 minute walk Place was constantly being cleaned with bins being emptied in apartment every second day if not everyday, plenty of sun loungers beside pool and umbrellas, taxi from airport around a 50min drive and cost us €75-90 there is a shuttle bus service also 24/7 reception was great to have also very ideal to have luggage storage for day we checked out and the use of a shower room if needed I seen some comments about the noise of the karaoke bar across the road, you could hear it but not loud enough to be an issue I found Will definitely be back

Nothing was perfect

Great location, close to beaches and restaurants. Clean hotel. Nice swimming pool with lot of sunbeds. Water was cold but still ok to swim :) Parking by the hotel, but not very big. Parking available on the streets nearby. Magnetic card entry to the room. Cleaning service every second day by staff - all good. Nice pool view from balcony.

Haven't seen first time that oven was missing in the kitchen area. Would be handy to have one available. Water from tap no good to be used for tea/coffee, make sure to buy in bottles. I think safe should be money free to be used to store valuables. Lightning could be way brighter (bathroom was fine), this is something to work on; some brighter led or so to be put in definitely

Room was spacious and clean, if a little dated. Housekeeping attended regularly, towels regularly replenished. Nice pool, plenty of sun beds! . Very friendly staff, we liked that the hotel was small, it generally felt a lot more relaxed. We did attend the kids disco and evening entertainment at the sister hotel Esmeralda Park, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast also served at the sister hotel a 10minute walk away. Breakfast was nothing to rave about and after a few days we realised it wasn’t worth the walk!

This hotel is SO noisy! Really let down what would otherwise have been a brilliant stay! The bar across the road has karaoke blasting until midnight, from early in the morning there is noise from wagons making deliveries and we could hear every movement from the people in the room above us! Not the hotels fault but would not stay again for this reason.

The staff was really nice, especially the lady at reception. The flat was spacious, clean and tidy. Price is correct. The pool is nice and food is good.

There was a small kitchen but it was missing the basics, there were 3 pots but no pans, the kettle didn’t work (it was ok I just used the stove). It would have been nice to have the minimum to cook like salt, pepper, olive oil. Small details though overall it was very good. On the more annoying side, it was quite noisy from Thursday night to Sunday night with some sort of bad karaoke that you could hear very clearly from the room.

Location was great close to the beach. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Large balcony area with nice table and chairs. We'll equipped kitchen area. Peaceful. Nice Garden area. Very clean. Drying line on balcony. Large kettle in the room. Pool bar was a lovely area. Very clean. Lovely Sangria and snacks reasonably priced. Close to supermarkets

One very small thing. Mugs would be nice instead of cups and saucers. It's only a very minor thing

Excellent location, only a short walk to three of the five main beaches in Cala D’Or and all the restaurants, bars and shops in the main part of town. Very clean and spacious apartment with a balcony, plenty of hot water and air-con. Comfy beds (two singles pushed together). Excellent outdoor facilities (outside bar, lovely big pool, pool table and lots of sun loungers (we never had a problem getting a sun lounger no matter what time of day!)) Friendly staff and ample secure free parking for our rental car.

The Karaoke bar across the street was loud at night (till midnight / 1am) but we had earplugs which helped - possibly an apartment at the rear of the complex (i.e. not one with a pool view) would be slightly quieter. Also, just an fyi - the kitchen facilities are somewhat limited - they have a stovetop with a couple pots and a frying pan for cooking but no oven or microwave. Toaster and kettle / basic coffee machine were provided. However, there was no oil / salt/pepper/spices/ can opener etc so you will have to buy those essentials if you plan to eat in. Also an fyi - the air-con system was slow to cool down the apartment (unlike newer systems) but we found it worked okay and we weren’t uncomfortable (travelled mid-September).

The location was great, which ever way you headed from the hotel you found beaches, bars or shops all within 15mm walk. The staff were friendly and the cleaners did an amazing job. Pool was clean (albeit rather chilly). People in the reviews had complained about the karaoke, granted it was loud, but it didn’t go on until 3am like in some reviews, it stopped bang on 12 every night and didn’t keep our little one or us awake if we did want to go to bed early. But mostly when we got back from our evening out, we’d sit and enjoy the professional show and have a giggle at them karaoke… if you can’t beat em, join em!

The bed wasn’t great, but I guess we are just used to a softer mattress!!

It was our second time at Esmeralda Garden and the hotel totally met our expectations. The apartment was big, comfy and clean. We particularly loved the pool, managed to find sunbeds evan in the most crowded days. Hotel is conveniently located close to the beach ( Cala Esmeralda and Cala Gran in walking distance), close to plenty restaurants, city center and 2 supermarkets.
