To be honest, we have decided to book this hotel due to location near the Calla Grand and Calla Esmeralda. base on the photos , it was hard to decide about the rooms but after we have arrived in the hotel , we have been surprised. rooms - we had room in the building 2, and it was very comfortable, spacious and "up to date " - quality materials, good shower, coffee machine at the room , huge bed.... Restaurant - food in the restaurant is 1* . we had vacations in 2 hotels ( one in other part of the island and second here) and i have to say that restaurant food was very delicious. also waiters are very helpful, friendly very good organized . pools, facilities, spa, - hotel have 1 indoor pool ( its smaller ) but for family with kids, it is very good bonus in the bad weather. in the hotel area you have one big pool for adults ( together with small pool ). besides that you have 2 pools in especially for little kids in the more quiet area + small kids playground . Entertainment team - we came in the end of may period and to be honest, i was very surprised. Animation of the entertainment was on the spot - kids club is very nice, entertainers very friendly and not "pushy" that they bothers you, in the good mood and not acting but enjoying their job. there is just one point :) mini-disco is around the pool and it needs a little bit of 'tuning" so every mini-disco are same songs :) but in fact, this is only bad point i would say :) Summary - if you want very nice hotel , maintained with great area, high standard of the service, just go there. food, location, facilities, hotel staff, area.... everything organized and working together, clean hotel rooms, gardens looks like from magazine, ..... its just perfect

there is one thing that we have been surprised : - Breakfast - coffee, water and juice - you can take from the buffet for free - Dinner - drinks are paid - waiter ask if you want some drink ( even water is payed ) and you pay at the table. prices are not "crazy" but have that in mind so you are not surprised :)

Great place to stay with little kids!! Safe neighbourhood, lots of daily activities with the kids (disco, playroom, two pool just for little ones etc.). Also easy to access and move around with stroller. We only took daily breakfast which varied every day. They had fresh fruits and coffee straight from the espresso machine. Location is also great, there are many restaurants and beaches near by.

Daily room cleaning was lousy. We felt like the cleaning lady only took the trash and folded our towels/blankets. They didn’t even take empty bottles or cans from the tables or next to the trashcan. One day our child accidentally puked in our bed and that time I needed to ask if the cleaning lady could change the sheet, even tho I had put the ”please make up room” sign to the door. I thought that visible stains in the sheets would be enough reason to change those without asking. Also we used couple of forks and plates in our room kitchenette and even that didn’t belong to the daily cleaning. Otherwise I would give 10/10 to this place but room cleaning could be better.

We booked this place quite last minute, and were well aware that it was a family style resort. The room was very spacious and clean, it is a little outdated / run down, we did have a couple of minor issues on arrival with power / light switches and air conditioning not working. Otherwise, we had a very good stay, great location close to some beautiful beaches and swimming spots, the buffet breakfast was great, we never had an issue with parking nearby, the gym facilities were good. We spent most of our days exploring Cala D'or and the beaches so didn't spend a lot of time at the pool. When we did come back in the afternoons, just note that the music at the pool area was very loud to cater to the children at the pool / the family atmosphere, and this could be heard loud and clear from our room. Overall we still had a very pleasant stay, and loved the area of Cala D'or.

Music at the pool area could have been quieter

The hotel is in a perfect location for me, my elderly mum who is 75 years old and 15 years old nephew! It was a few minutes walk to Cala Gran, and 5 minutes walk to the main Cala d'Or's shopping and restaurants area (Av. Tagomago, Carrer Boulevard d'Or, Av. de Belgica) . It's 8 minutes walk to Cala Esmeralda and other Cala's (coves) are all walkable distance. There's a small sports court for basketball, table tennis, and other ball games which my nephew enjoyed and he played basketball with a couple of other teenagers (you'll have to ask for the ball and rackets from reception). We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning (08:00 - 10:30), and we had the buffet dinner on the first evening which cost around £19 per person and less for a child (I can't remember how much). There are gluten free options, and plant milk available. The buffet is in an area called The Kitchen by the pool, and on the opposite it's where you collect and return your beach towels (you will be given the beach towel cards from reception when you check in). We had the two bedroom suite with balcony facing the children's pool. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The housekeeping team did a good job to keep our room clean and tidy, giving us fresh towels. The bed were comfy with medium firmness. Extra duvets are in the wardrobe which my mum needed when the aircon was on. The bathroom has a spacious shower (strong rain shower and hand-held jet shower) with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was a hairdryer, a big sink and handwash. The main room with the kingsize bed had a wardrobe, a small table with two chairs, a microwave, small fridge, a microwave, a kettle, teas, coffee, a couple of small carton of spring water, a coffee machine, 4 cups with saucers and 4 short glasses. All staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us directions and maps (we wanted to see other parts of Mallorca by bus), where to go and not to go.

Things they can improve on: there wasn't enough clothes hangers in the wardrobe, we couldn't make use of the safe as it was damaged, not enough wall hangers to hang your towels in the bathroom (there is just one). Small mistake from the reception team for not informing us that our transfer to the airport was going to be 20 minutes late and ended up waiting for 20 minutes in 32*C heat outside.

Our first impression was very positive — we were welcomed at reception with refreshing drinks, and the receptionist took the time to explain the hotel map and facilities. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a large, comfortable bed, a modern and clean interior, and a balcony. Since our room was located away from the pool area, it was peaceful and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful, well-maintained garden. The hotel’s location is ideal, just next to the beach, with other lovely beaches within walking distance. We had half board (drinks not included at dinner), but the staff were kind and attentive, always asking if we needed anything. The food was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of fish, meat, vegetables, sides, and desserts.

On the downside, the hotel is very family-oriented. Even though there’s a kids’ pool, children were often playing loudly in the main pool, and the constant noise from activities and kids screaming made it less relaxing at times. Another major downside was the pool area — sun loungers were occupied very early in the morning, often with towels left to reserve them. Even before breakfast, it was hard to find a spot, which was quite disappointing.

The location was close to beaches, resto and shops. I like our room, very well! The breakfast buffet was soo good! I really like the churros and nutella! Coffee was good!

Our rooms were on the 4th floor, with no access to elavetor. We had to carry our heavy luggages, and there's no lights either on the staircase. It's very dark in the evening. We have to rely on our mobilephone, flashlights. There's a very Long wait for coffee, since u have to order directly to barista. A coffee Machine would be more effektive I think. Overall we enjoy our stay very much!

Location was good near to 2 beaches and the markets. Breakfast was lavish. We had a quad room which was quite nice and big

We requested them to give the room on ground or lower floor but they gave us the room on third floor without elevator after knowing we have small kids. There were many activities in the hotel but nobody informed us so we missed many. The staff at hotel lobby served welcome drinks to the guests but didn’t offered us. Maybe they take Indians for granted

Couldn’t recommend enough! hotel is clean, facilities are amazing, and staff were very respectful (especially alex, think he was the manager or something). Pool was great, although we were a group of girls travelling they had so many family events planned so would be great for a family as well. The breakfast buffet is so good and from knowledge wasn’t that expensive to add onto the booking so recommend doing this too.

Cleaners were quite rude and left all their stuff over the stairs and doors which made it hard to get into our apartment , otherwise all other staff were lovely!

The location of the hotel is great, close to Cala gran beach and to the main centre with shops and restaurants. The grounds are well maintained, pretty walk throughs between blocks, pools are good just a tad cold at times!

The activities for the kids are very limited, around 4.30pm they sometimes did a pool activity which we quickly found out was for adults after watching grown adults shoving kids underwater to get the ball 😱 so entertainment does need a bit of work. It was better when we came 3 years ago!
