Located close to the harbour and near to the pubs and clubs. The nearest bus stop is less than a 3 minute walk away. The rooms are simple and clean and are attended to most days except Thursdays and Saturdays. Our room had a fridge and an air conditioner but not all rooms have this. There is someone at the front desk at all times and they are very helpful. There is a basket of products and seaside equipment that departed guests have left, which is very helpful.

Breakfast options were limited and lacked variety, but for the cost of the accommodation that includes a free breakfast, I can’t really really complain.

I loved how clean and well organised Hostal Alfonso is. Runs like a well set up clock. Rooms are clean above expectations, cleaned every other day witch a change of sheets which really isn't something I expected at a hostel! 😊 The whole place is simple but renovated and well-kept. The breakfast is fresh and simple yet super sufficient and again I didn't expect it to be that good within this price range. The location is great and safe. The Staff and the owners are polite and very helpful, they helped us accomodate our late check-in. I would highly recommend Hostal Alfonso.

Great location to explore Cala Ratjada and the beach at Cala Agulla. Staff are friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. Breakfast is basic but good. Bed was comfy, nice view towards Arta for me. Very effective air con unit in room and small balcony. Nice to see them offering the use of things that people have left. Toiletries, beach umbrellas etc. Saves waste. Room average size. Very close to the market, sea, restaurants shops etc.

Aircon unit very noisy, I had ear plugs, and it did drown out the noisy guests. One of the beds in the room needed attention as very creaky. No privacy on balcony as low dividing walls. Furniture a little worn in room.

What a gem! The staff is lovely, accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and a lovely surprise. The area is safe and super family friendly, supermarkets, restaurants and even a playground for my little one less than 4 minutes walk. Behind reception they have sun umbrellas and beach toys that you can borrow, and it was a total life saver as this was my first trip alone with my toddler. Honestly they were great, super attentive to us and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Very hard to find parking spaces as it’s quite central in Cala Radjada, but we managed as it was off season. Walls are not super thick, so heard a lot of the late night talk in both adjacent rooms, but little one slept through :) Would still come back, just minor things.

Manager Kerstin was welcoming, helpful and friendly on arrival and during my stay , rooms well maintained, clean, freshly painted and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed, extra warm blanket in wardrobe if required. Rooms cleaned bed changed with fresh towels daily except Wednesdays and Sundays friendly cleaning staff. Breakfast was great good choices of cereals, fruit and juices coffee, speciality teas, jams, breads, rolls, yoghurts, cheeses and meats, with salad options and fruit. Lovely and very friendly kitchen staff. Close to bus stop, main street and all shops and takeaways. Saturday Market minutes away. Beach and marina, 5 mins walk just off main street and 10 mins walk to Sol Moll beach and Calla Gat which are beautiful. Free toiletries and beach equipment are available at reception. Quiet and peaceful in evenings. Loved listening to locals chatting at nearby cafe/bar from open balcony this added to my trip. Beautiful place to spend a holiday. Amazing value for the price.

Nothing not to like.

I first stayed here 5 years ago when I was looking for the cheapest room I could find to leave my bags while i went off for a long party. But I was very impressed by the whole experience and didn’t bother to look elsewhere when the party came around again, five years later: I booked, well in advance, and arrived to find that, if anything, the hostal had got better. I think this budget hotel is a bit of a gem because it is run by someone who really cares about keeping the standards consistently high. As a result, the place is both well managed and well curated.

There’s no florist shop nearby. I wanted to thank the hotel with a bunch of flowers, but I had to give up looking and run for a plane.

Spacious room. Best value for money in the island. Breakfast included in the price and for a 2 star hotel is more than satisfactory. Umbrellas for the sun, beach balls and sun screens were provided for free. The receptionist and hotel owner was really great and very helpful to all of our needs.

No air condition( only fan on the ceiling, which was not very powerful-they gave us extra fan as well). No refrigerator in the room,but we gave them all we needed and they kept it in the common refrigerator of the hotel.

Good location. Clean room and bathroom. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

There was no heating in the room (early april).

It is good economy hotel in the very centre of Cala Ratjada. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are many good restaurants all around especially at the promenade. Parking is not a problem along the streets. Breakfast was various and quite tasty but monotonous. It is good base for traveling along east and sout coast of Mallorca.

Electric kettle in the room could be good idea. Breakfast could be more varied.

Perfect location right in the city center next to the pier, restaurants, markets and shops. I want to express my gratitude for the warm welcome to the owner of the hostel Kerstin. A wonderful, smiling and pleasant woman who cares about the comfort of the guests. Room and bathroom were very clean and quiet (TV, Netflix, ceiling fan, hairdryer, safe) nice and tasty breakfast with perfect coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables. All the staff are smiling and pleasant, thank you very much!

I wish I could extend my holiday and stay in this place longer.
