Likes: The beds are ver comfortable. One of the best out of our 4 accommodations in Mallorca. We had some very good sleep while staying here. The service team is very helpful and friendly. Internal decoration and quality of the rooms are surprisingly good and well done. Air-conditioned. Not that essential for me but the kids just love it. The shore is within a stone’s throw distance and the Hostel is sort of to say, right in the middle of the small town Sa Rapita. Shore is rocky but accessible. About 500m away from the hostel is a big man made ramp where you can walk down to the sea for a dip. Nice sandy beaches about 1.2 km walk from the hostel. Ample grocery stores within walking distance. Notes: No TV which i think is a good thing. Sa Rapita is a relatively „quiet“ town in tourist terms. So do not expect much happenings into late nights. We enjoyed the time here as a family rather differently in the typical terms.

Drawbacks: No refrigerator, kettle. WiFi slow at times. No swimming pool.

Excellent location, 5 minutes from the busstop, 10 minutes to a sandy quality beach, 30 seconds to a line up of restaurants, and very close to multiple large grocery stores for essentials. Very modern and new hotel, great quality furnishings. Cleaners are very consistent in cleaning rooms. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Lack of kettle, no conditioning in bathroom resulting in steam. However, there is a window, but it's not fully effective in releasing steam

Everything at Cap'n Pep was excellent! They upgraded our room (free of charge) so we ended up with a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a large kitchen, a spacious living area and a small balcony. Perfecto! There are a lot of restaurants very close by, a few little shops, and the sea/promenade is literally less than a minute down the street. Some of the best/most famous beaches of Mallorca are a 20 to 30 minute drive away. It's true that you have to drive everywhere since the Sa Ràpita beach isn't exactly top notch, however there are a few buses that go through the area. I definetly recommend staying at Cap'n Pep!

There is a possibility that i just didn't know how to turn it on (not likely) but the AC in the bedroom didn't work so it got quite warm. To be honest, it wasn't such a big deal so I didn't even "bother" the owners with it. However there was another AC unit in the living area and that one worked perfectly.

Cute boutique hotel with small rooms, but a balcony that looked onto the street. You could look to your left to see the beach view. Clean linen and bath towels.

Heating in the rooms could have been better. No bath products - even the small body wash provided was never refilled during our 4 night stay.

I liked the place. The town Sa Ràpita is very quiet and comfortable. Good to get away from a noisy big city and enjoy what such a small town has to offer. I think the hotel is absolutely brilliant - homey and pleasantly old-fashioned. We enjoyed a great beach within a short walk. Every morning we ran or walked along the beach which was great.

Air-conditioning did not work properly at the property which was not good when the temperature exceeded 34 degrees. Otherwise I liked the place.

Affordable place at southern coast. Host and staff make this place what it is. The restaurant downstairs seems to be the spot for locals to meet and have a quick chat, and the fish there is one of the best I've ever had. Also offers a good breakfast with tomato, cheese, ham, bread, juice, fruit, and hot drink at a very fair price. The hotel itself is nicely decorated. Room was quite basic, but clean, and had a little balcony to sit and/or leave wet towels. Good shower, wifi worked well. Easy to find a parking spot if you have a car. The sand beach is a bit further away, but easy to walk to along the coast (~15mins).

Individual reading lights at the bed side table would have been nice. Ceiling fan looked like it had a light, but at least it did not work for us.

Close to the beach, nice big room and functional, clean.

In December, hard to find a place to get water in the town after 8pm, next door bar was closed. I had to take the breakfast (9.5€) for them to store my bike inside for the night.

Very clean, good location

As a solo traveller I didn’t find owners very welcoming or helpful. I had emailed prior to visit but got no answer. Advertised airport shuttle but didn’t offer, advertised bike hire but didn’t offer, breakfast good but 1e more than advertised

Nice and simple hostal, really close to the Main Street of sa rapita, rooms are clean and the change towel almost every day. the do also have a restaurant and they can provide breakfast.

the room gets pretty hot in the afternoon and would be nice to have some ac, they do have in the corridor but in the room would be appreciate
