Very nice, clean and spacious room, equipped with all the basic stuff you'd need. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I especially want to praise the two workers who were there in the afternoon shifts, very helpful and friendly. Bus station that takes you to central Barcelona as well as the airport is very close to the hotel, and there are direct lines which is the main reason we booked it. Also, plenty supermarkets and a shopping mall right next to the hotel have made groceries much easier. Would come back.

In the evenings it can get a bit loud with traffic outside, so if you're a light sleeper I recommend bringing earplugs. Also, I didn't mind it too much, but a guy in the morning didn't allow us to use the microwave for 30 seconds, just to warm up a pastry, saying it's for people who have breakfast only. While I would understand if we were disrupting anyone, there were barely any people there at the moment and it was not being used, so I don't see why it would be a problem. It didn't affect my opinion of the hotel, but it just didn't make much sense.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to be on the outskirts of Barcelona and because it offered parking for the hire car. We were happy with our choice. The staff were very friendly and supportive. The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the train station (about a 10 minute walk) and there are frequent trains into the city centre. The hotel is also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and convenient shopping options (Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour etc..). The small town of Castelldefels is nice to explore. Whilst we didn't go to the beach area, it is close by.

The hotel is in an excellent location, you can walk to many stores, restaurants and shopping. A convenient bus stop is located near by that goest directly into Barcelona or the train station is a 10 minute walk. The hotel was surprisingly quiet considering if was full of teenagers for a tournament (not a problem at all). The staff was VERY friendly and accommodating, which was nice because we had our dog with us.

Bed was very comfy. We just stayed for 1x night before an early flight out the next morning. We liked that the hotel is walking distance to the train so you can explore sitges or barcelona and the lovely front desk staff organized our taxi which was nice.

This is no fault to the hotel - just a consideration if you are staying for one night before flying out. The taxi rates around barcelona are fairly high and cost ~40 euros each way.

Location is great. I've stayed at this Ibis several times. I travel to this area of Spain to attend events at ICFO and this hotel is very close to a nice mall, several supermarkets and Castelldefels center while being close to ICFO. There are bus lines close by to get to the beach or to the airport. Staff are always nice and friendly. The rooms are modern minimal and clean.

It's not adequate for a long stay. There aren't any kettles, microwaves or utensils in the room. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby to make up for it though.

Very clean rooms. Keeping ibis standart. Rooms not destroyed. Comfortable beds. Very nice reception even when we arrived in the middle of the night. Local products on the breakfast with variety of products (compared to other bcn hotels)

Localization makes it hard to get there without car. Hotel is next to big shopping mall and super busy road which makes it imposible to open windowblinds or window.

It was a good hotel. But we didnt understand that there was no microwave to warm up our food because most hotel does offer this. So this was a little minus point. And if the shower was closed it would bet better. The full bathroom was wet because of the short curtains. But overall it was a good hotel.

The property is very, very close to a shopping mall. It is also surrounded by shops like Aldi, Mercadona, and Lidl. The bus stop is also a stone’s throw away. Location is really very convenient.

The staff who checked us in late at night was very accommodating and friendly. However, the staff who checked us out was the opposite. As our flight was still late in the evening, we decided to stay in the hotel lobby upon checkout to kill time. The staff insisted on having us stay outside (there were chairs, but still) because the lobby has to be cordoned off for cleaning. But the cleaning didn’t happen right away anyway. There were also people waiting for check in so it could have been better if the area was left open for guests.

The breakfast was good and plentiful. The bed was conformtable and the rate affordable. Everybody was polite and helpful. The suburban train station is near (about 1 km away) and the trip to Sants Central Station takes only 25 minutes. The hotel has a parking lot for those travelling by car. We chose Ibis because it was pleasant and cheaper than a downtown hotel and ours was a short stay.

For vacation purposes it is too far away to commute to downtown Barcelona daily, in fact Castelldefels is a nice suburban town. It is only an option if you are panning to stay mostly in Castelldefels.

The hotel is situated near a shopping centre and two supermarkets which was very convenient for us as we never have breakfasts at hotels. It's easy to get to the centre or the beach by car/motorbike. The area seemed safe and calm. The staff were very helpful, we even were able to check-in a bit earlier than the standard time. The room was very comfortable and clean. In my opinion this hotel is good value for money.
