What a fantastic hotel stay. From our initial greeting and orientation guidance to the moment of checkout we found all of the staff to be super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Pieter, who provided excellent parking instructions via email, and made us feel immediately at home when we arrived. The hotel and our room were exceptionally clean and tidy. Despite being on a busy street, the hotel felt like a little oasis, due to our courtyard facing room. Although we didn’t try the restaurant during our short stay, we found Linda and the other bar staff very welcoming when we popped in for a nightcap. We will definitely stay again when we return to Denia

The breakfast was lovely .Croissants, pastry’s , cheese , ham , tomatoes , fruit , toast , Plentiful and very fresh . Our room was at back of hotel and I do not think anywhere has ever been so quiet .We Could even sleep with shutter open . Great nights sleep . Rooms are small but had everything we needed .Fridge and Tea and coffee great . Staff were amazing and went above and beyond .Location was fabulous too for just sitting people watching with a cuppa or drink or going to harbour ect . About 10-15 mins walk to bus station and harbour .20 mins walk to beach .

Restaurant and bar can get very busy at peak times with reservations .Sometimes no room for walk ins .

Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff is very friendly and it will help you with everything you need, the location is really nice and the food from the restaurant next door is amazing. The internet in our room was ok, but in the courtyard it works perfect if you need to work or make calls.

This is not the first time I stay here, and it's quite a good option when you consider the location and the hotel's price. It works out being one of the best options for single travellers. The room I got this time was somehow more comfortable than the one I got last year, which curiously was meant to be a category above. You won't be short of eating out options all around. Keep an eye out for the "Menu del Dia" at restaurants nearby.

The main problem I have with this hotel is that the rooms lack a working space or small desk. There is something that comes close but it's basically for the kettle, coffee and tea items, and it has a small fridge underneath, so you can't really sit there and use it as a working desk. However, you can take your laptop or tablet to the courtyard and sit at one of the tables there if you need to do some work.

Fantastic location in beautiful street in Denia. Delightful & very helpful staff. We had a problem with our Safe and it was sorted immediately by Peter. We only had a light breakfast so can’t really comment on the food.. But overall, lovely stay and would definitely return. Thank you!

Beds very hard but got used to them!!

The location is very central to many beautiful parts of Denia, you can walk from your room to anywhere easily and it felt like a really safe area, I was out walking at 1am. You get a discount at their restaurant as well.

Denia gets really hot and the A/C in the room + ceiling fan doesn't seem like quite enough to combat it. Staff made the beds when cleaning rooms but I would have preferred clean sheets.

The restaurant at the hostel provided excellent food and service. Typical Spanish interior with newly refurbished bathroom. Edina at reception gave a lovely welcome, also Linda the restaurant manager was charming, friendly, very efficient,very informative. All in all excellent service all round.

Couldn't find fault with anything, in fact we're thinking about returning in October.

I liked everything. It's a plece with soul. The hostal is incrediblely cozy. I had a beautiful view of the small garden from my balcony. The sraff was very nice and polite. Room's cleanliness was excelent. I liked It's central location and many restaurants nearby. The beach was a 10-minute walk away.

I stayed at Loreto Hostel for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay. It has everything as described in the booking details along with a beautiful atmosphere. My room was spacious with a very comfy bed & pillow, big window and along with aircon, there is an old style ceiling fan. The location is excellent as it's on a pedestrian street with lots of really good restaurants & tapas, short walk to the marina & beaches. I especially found the receptionist Evita to be very helpful and so friendly.

The best aspect of this hostel is its location right on Loreto street, which is a pedestrian one in the historic centre of Denia. Lots of restaurants all along the long street with a good offer of food and drinks. Some may be tourists traps but not all and you may want to keep an eye out for any lunchtime specials for something lighter and more affordable. As for the hostel, it offers a nice courtyard in the centre of the building. Breakfast is now offered at a restaurant next door but I didn't opt in, so I can't comment about the quality. My room, I believe was on a second floor that you can access by two flights of stairs and down a corridor. It was quiet enough after a certain hour and it had a small fridge, a TV set and a large bed. Not very big as a room but this was for one person only. However, the bathroom was really big in relation to the size of the bedroom and it had both a bathtub and a separate shower. It was kept pretty clean.

The only negative thing I can say, is that there was a very unpleasant smell, maybe coming from the Aircon system itself. I don't think it was coming from the bathroom as one may expect. I repeat that the room was kept spotless by the cleaning staff but not really sure what was causing this smell. Definitely something in the air, which was a pity.
