On our last day we had flight at 9pm the check out time is 11am I have asked the owners if its OK to leave bags and come back for them later before flight of course it wasn't a problem. 2 mins after the owner came back and told us the they don't have booking for next day and we could stay in the apartment if we want to. It was very helpful. Big thanks to the owners for taking care of their customers not just for money

The apartment was very spacious, we are family of 5, so much room, never under each others feet l shape sofabed very comfortable and big tv. Beds were very comfortable king size master room, 2 single beds and put you up bed, both rooms had multi wardrobes plenty of space for all clothes and shoes. Hosts were waiting for us, in a bit earlier than suggested, very polite, helpful and caring hosts on site every day no problem too big. Tea and coffee waiting for us as complimentary for week. Shower /wet room big basin and toilet. Bedrooms lead onto balcony both rooms, high street and side road situated, not too much noise 2 mins from bus station and 5 mins from Fuengirola train station, 5 min walk from beach very central to all amenities shops and restaurants. Fantastic week, thank you to the excellent hosts 10/10 stay, going back next year!!

All communication with the Apartment was good Carmen who was in charge was great so friendly and polite kept us informed and managed to get us our Apartment early it was clean and spacious great kitchen good sized bedroom and bathroom lg balcony less than 5mins from train station supermarket 100yds and right in the heart of all the bars and restaurants beach 5mins will be booking this place again

Fully renovated apartment in the center of Fuengirola. The sea is just a seven-minute walk away, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend booking his property.

The location of the property was fabulous. Everything was perfect in the apartment with all the equipment you need.

As the lift was out of order during our whole 10 nights it was a bit of a nightmare going up to the 4 floors to the apartment. So much so that we tended to stay away all day reducing the number of times we had to climb the 4 floors. Our host Pablo did carry up my case and did offer to help us on our last day to take our cases down. We did know about the lift being broken prior to arrival but were just hoping that it might be fixed during our stay.

LOCATION VERY CENTRAL,OPPOSITE BUS STATION AND 2 MINUTES TO TRAIN STATION,APARTMENT WAS LOVELY AND ALL AMENITIES THAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED. THE HOST WAS AN INCREDIBLE MAN ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR ANY MINOR INCIDENTS (HOW TO WORK THE WASHING MACHINE OR TUMBLE DRYER AS THEY INSTRUCTIONS WERE WRITTEN IN SPANISH OR ANY OTHER ISSUE) WHEN WE BOOKED THIS APARTMENT WE DID NOT REALISE THAT THERE WAS FOUR APARTMENTS WITHOUT A BALCONY AND WE HAD BOOKED ONE OF THEM NO PROBLEM, AS WE WERE GIVEN A KEY TO A ROOM THAT WAS USED FOR STORAGE THAT HAD TWO BALCONIES THAT WE COULD USE ON OUR FINAL WEEK WE WERE TRANSFERED TO A PENTHOUSE APARTMENT ON THE TOP FLOOR AMAZING (SUN TERRACE TWO BEDROOMS AND A LOVELY SITTING ROOM AND KITCHEN) ALSO A BONUS OF HAVING A GRANIER BAKERY RIGHT BELOW APARTMENT WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS AS ALL THE STAFF WERE FIRST CLASS AND APARTMENTS ARE SPOT ON. WE WILL RETURN IN THE NEAR FUTURE CERTAINLY

NOTHING PERFECT FOUR WEEKS

Excellent modern apartment in the centre of Fuengirola. Only 5 mins walk from train station, shops, bars and the beach. The apartment was very clean and facilities were excellent with air conditioning throughout, good power shower plus a dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Although the apartment was in the centre and on the busiest road it was very quiet inside and sound proofed so easy to sleep at night. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to others looking for a city centre apartment without pool and will be looking to return ourselves in the not too distant future.

There was an issue with the building lift when we arrived which took a few days to get sorted which made things a little difficult as we were on the 3rd floor but the host friendly Pablo did assist with our luggage and the problem was eventually resolved.

The apartment's location was excellent and exactly what I needed; right opposite the bus station, near the train station, on the doorstep of any shop or eating place you could want, cute back streets and a short stroll to the beach. The apartment itself was very well equipped, it had everything you could want and was comfortable, clean and cosy. The terrace overlooked the side streets and was a great place to people watch whilst having tea in the morning. The bed was comfy, and slept very well. Everything was so well thought out, from the washing up liquid pump on the sink to the lovely lamps and lighting. The host was very accommodating, allowing me to stay past my check-out time so I wasn't wondering the streets whilst waiting for my flight, I really appreciated this! He was quick to answer any messages and knew he was nearby if I needed anything. Overall my stay was nothing short of perfect.. can't really say anymore than that!

Would have loved a balcony

The apartment I stayed on (15) was exceptional. Two rooms, one with a large double bed and a second one with two single beds), plus kitchen/sitting room, bathroom with bathtub/shower, and two balconies. More than perfect for a brief stay. The building is located just a couple of minutes' walk from Fuengirola train station, and there's a bus stop right outside the door, so it's perfectly located for exploring Fuengirola itself and surrounding areas. The beach is a 5-min walk from the building. There's a fantastic bakery right downstairs, and a multitude of restaurants, shops, and services within walking distance, plus two massive flea markets (if you're there on the right days) about a 15-20min walk away. The host, Pablo, personally met us at the door to hand over the keys, even though it was a late enough arrival. He was very responsive and attentive throughout. Overall, can't speak highly enough about Apartmentos Castillo, would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. It's central and great value for money. And the bakery downstairs is the icing on the cake :)

There didn't seem to be any TV channels available, only radio. Not a problem for me as I don't watch TV, and I could access YouTube through the TV anyway.
