Pros: The hotel is right on the beach and in a fantastic location. If you enjoy walking, there are plenty of great places nearby to explore. The food is tasty with a wide selection, and the staff is exceptional—very attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The rooms have been fully renovated with new furniture, fresh paint, modern TVs, and mini-fridges. The bathroom is in good condition—while it could use a little extra attention, it functions well. Each morning, the staff works diligently to prepare the grounds. They clean the pool area early and thoroughly, and the beach is flattened and well-maintained daily.

Cons: The hotel is older and shows its age. While nothing is falling apart thanks to good maintenance, it’s not a modern or newly built property. Not necessarily a con, but worth noting: the majority of guests were older British travelers. As someone younger, I found myself among only a few guests my age—aside from the staff. So, it might not be the best spot for younger people looking to meet others. That said, the upside is that the atmosphere is quiet, with no loud parties or disturbances at night, as most guests go to bed early.

Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner, omlettes etc cooked to order. Perfect location for sunbeds by the sea, and 1/2 price if staying in hotel. Nice beach bar with lovely staff.

I am diabetic and they have area with special items for people with dietry requirements. There was no reduced sugar jam or marmalade. We were there 5 days and by the time we left we knew where things were. The dining room manageress was helpful but the other staff were run off their feet and tried not to make eye contact if you looked like you needed help. Normal questions like is the orange juice sweetened were answered I dont know

at breakfast there is an egg station where you can have freshly cooked fried eggs, poached eggs and omelette. The problem is you wait ages for the egg person to arrive, none of the other team members see you, (ignore). despite making the restaurant manager aware and reception nothing improved over the 5 days of my holiday, very frustrating, but it is easy for them to correct. Tell the egg person to stay at the egg station. SIMPLES.

Cleanliness, great location, mostly all of your staff were helpful

One of your young men were working on reception, when we asked about a late checkout, he didn’t check , he spoke to us in an arrogant manner. Yet later on that day, a young lady and different man were very helpful and managed to arrange this, which really helped. Evening entertainment not situated good, in a highly lit hallway, lifts a distraction for the entertainment so we went out

We love location staff are friendly especially lady who cleaned our room and waiters in restaurant Lovely young girl on reception when we arrived and could not have been more helpful Marked my husbands birthday with champagne lovely gesture All in all a consistent experience but dinner menu was a little bland by day 16

Property seems to still be doing snagging for recent refurbishment

The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned perfectly. Staff are extremely helpful the food was excellent a really good selection

It is aimed at the over 80s! We stayed 6 years ago when it was a lot more lively with the disco open which the younger people loved i am 59 ! - very disappointed the bar closes at 11.30 and everyone just goes! On a Saturday night it would have been good to have a later night. Also the pool bar closed an hour early with people just sat outside!

we thorougly enjoyed our holiday the room was fine with an excellent view, there was a lot of choice with the food both breakfast and dinner, happy hour was good in the bar and all the staff where excellent in every area very helpful and considerate will definetely be going again but for longer.

as far as we were concerned nothing we didnt like.some of the people in the hotel were a bit offish but as a hotel you cant be responsible for that.

Location is brilliant and very close to train station which is very handy. Very clean. Breakfasts varied, tasty and plentiful. Rooms cleaned daily. Lovely views. Pool area very chilled and clean.

Requested a lower floor room twice but was given the 10th floor.. however we decided not to let it ruin an otherwise perfect stay. TV did not work and we asked to be fixed but it never was...again a minor thing as we never needed/wanted to watch it anyway but might annoy some guests.

A return visitor. Elias (who has only started with you) was extremely pleasant and helpful in the restaurant. He was also immaculate and efficient. Your other staff also were immaculate

The Yaramar is perfectly located to be able to enjoy Fuengirola and Los Boliches. Lovely selection at breakfast and Happy Hour in the bar was great.

Our room could have done with a makeover, we saw some rooms were being renovated, so I hope that means that all the rooms will be done.
