The place is ideally located. The building is of significant historical relevance. The staff was really good. Very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Best regards to Antonio and his family for an unforgettable experience. To my fellow travellers: This is not a 5* hotel. Its a lovely, family oriented little gem in the middle of Granada. Close to everything. The deco is traditional the rooms are modest but the beds are comfortable, its clean and beautiful.

The lift. (lack of) its on the way of being put in I've been told :) The aircon was a bit noisy, specially at night. But nothing that a good pair of ear-plugs could not resolve.

"La Perla Granada Suites" is located close to the cathedral of Granada, right at "Plaza de la Universidad". Our room was on the second floor with a view towards the church opposite and around the corner of the botanic garden. A beautiful area. There were plenty of places for breakfast nearby. The beds were very comfy and the receptionists of the hostal were all very helpful and nice. It was such a great place to stay in Granada.

I generally prefer a room where one can open the window for the night. This was not possible. But with the air conditioning this was not a problem. There is no elevator in this house. The receptionist though will help with the suitcases. I just put this here for other guests - I liked the place completely and do not consider this drawbacks.

Fantastic location, our room looked out over the square, which had a couple of restaurants and lovely old church, we walked everywhere we needed to.

You cannot park at the property, they have a deal with a local underground car park, but although it’s cheaper, it’s not cheap and adds considerably to the stay, it’s also about a 7/8 minute walk away, so drop your luggage off first. This is nothing to do with the property, but be aware if you want to visit the Palace of Charles V, you will need to book tickets, we walked up to it, expecting to just buy tickets at the gate, we couldn’t. It is within walking distance tho, if your reasonably fit.

The hotel is located in a pretty square and within walking distance to many sites. The rooms are spacious, renovated and comfortable, with a lot of the historic details of the building preserved. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We travelled with our dogs and were given a larger room at no extra fee!

Our room was located close to the central stairwell and late at night guest’s returning and having conversations and would wake us up. The front door of the hotel is heaven and closes with a bang at night and the staircase echos ….we had quite a few sleep interruptions.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and the main squares. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean, we had a nice view of the church and the roofs of Granada.

We could hear people from the adjacent rooms very loudly and clearly. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator (it was not a problem for us but it's not handy if you travel with a heavy suitcase).

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Despite it being a budget accommodation option, we found the service to be of the highest quality. They promptly accommodated our requests and were forthcoming with helpful information eg spare pillows and tourist info. The man who checked us in was particularly helpful, and also the man originally from Malaga who gave us travel recommendations. It was great to have a reception desk open for most hours of the day too. The cleaning was sufficient and we were impressed that there was a bed making service each day, again considering it’s a budget option. Finally the location is great, within 10-15 minutes you can reach many sites. The immediate surroundings are many cafes and restaurants, and the square the accomodation is situated in is beautiful but not too busy. For what it costs, it is very good value for money. We did not use the shared living room space but it was very clean and spacious.

Light sleepers may struggle due to the proximity to a town square. We were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the square which was so lovely, but there was traffic and street noise at times particularly early in the morning. With earplugs I had a good sleep.

This hotel is in a great location very central with lots of small cafes & bars nearby. Lovely leafy squares also & cathedral 5 min walk perfect for exploring the city. Taxi to Albicin & Alhambra very reasonably priced. Staff here very friendly & helpful - they recommended the flamenco cave show which was very authentic & unique -thanks!

The towels are not changed daily ,but the price reflects that it's a basic service.

I really liked the location of this property. I walked everywhere I went in Granada from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and informative. The bed was comfortable and the room was small, which was expected for the type of room I rented. The small room felt larger than it was due to high ceilings.

I don’t have any major complaints about the property. The only thing I was ever frustrated about was not having enough ventilation in the bathroom. When showering it got very steamy and my towel didn’t dry out all the way in between showers.

It was such a beautiful room with amazing views of the cathedral. We really loved it and also loved having our own bathroom and a bath! This was a treat as we don’t have one at home. The staff were really friendly too. I was unwell for the first few days staying here and the cleaners were respectful.

We loved everything about it. Just to let you know though, the toilet sometimes didn’t flush which was frustrating when I was sick but had to just move the top bit off and do it manually. The WiFi wasn’t very good either but it didn’t impact our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Perla Granada Suites. We had a triple room and it was a good size. The beds and pillows were so comfy I wish I could have taken them home with me. The location was great. In a really safe area full of restaurants and bars, yet it wasn’t noisy. We were in walking distance to all of Granada’s attractions too. There’s a parkade close by where we parked our car for 4 days and paid only 48 euros (12€/day) this is because the hotel has an agreement with them, so definitely park there because all the other parades are very expensive.
