Our stay was delightful. Andres could not have been a more friendly and helpful host. He even taught us how to register for a hike in the permit-area. His place is beautiful, with a lot of charm, spotless, quiet, and comfortable. We thank Andres for his hospitality, and are determined to enjoy La Mejorama again in the near future.

Everything! We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. We had a double room upstairs with a small balcony and an amazing view. The room was cleaned each day and it was really quiet at night so we slept well. Andreas was very welcoming, giving us lots of helpful information about Grazalema and surrounding walks. Breakfast was good value with lots of choice, and the communal fridge was handy for chilling drinks we could have on the veranda. Pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and the patios were full of plants and flowers.

A minor thing really, we would have liked another pillow on the bed.

The welcome from Andres was perfect, even giving us a welcome drink. He was most hospitable with a lot of local knowledge and helpful tips including where to park, walk and eat. I would definitely recommend staying here, the ambience, the scenery, the host.

Maybe better guidance for finding the property since the village roads are challenging. I would suggest guests to follow signs for the Guardia Civil as sat nav was not accurate.

Andre is an absolute star! His property is stunningly beautiful with incredible views. He’s the heart and sole of the place and he really makes your stay nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and spotlessly clean rooms. PERFECT

A couple weeks into our vacation in Spain, this is our favorite hotel so far and Grazalema our favorite place. The host is great and breakfast on the patio is so nice.

For a North American, parking is always an issue in these Spanish towns. The hotel apparently is well situated in this regard, but the applicable lot was closed for construction during our visit.

Wonderful old building sympythetically modernised. Family owned, everybody very helpful. Wondeful log fire in the common room in the evening.

Would have liked the abilty to make tea and coffee in the common room in the evening. Some shorter and wider water glasses would been useful.

Grazalema is a beautiful small town in the midst of many walking trails and easy visits to other “white village” towns. La Mejorana is a perfect place to stay—lovely rooms and common space, generous breakfasts, and a super-warm, friendly & helpful host. Highly recommended! We hope to return for another visit in the future.

Beautiful home with amazing views. Gorgeous gardens and I loved that the pine tree native to the area was right outside of our window.

Absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous views. Extremely clean with great attention to detail. Aircon worked well, pool was lovely, comfy beds, easy free parking nearby. Beautiful little town with great restaurant options and a couple of supermarkets. Would definitely recommend.
