The hotel’s location was excellent, within walking distance of many amenities and just minutes from one of the beaches. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

While the bathroom was spacious, the room itself felt a bit cramped. Aside from the bed, two bedside tables, and a small wardrobe, there wasn’t much space left. Additionally, my first-floor room offered limited views—just a quiet street scene, which felt underwhelming outside of the bustling summer season. Overall, great for short stays but tight on space.

The room had a balcony you could sit out on, and right down the street was the shore. From there, it's a beautiful walk along pedestrian paths to the Empuries -- just follow the shore. The (surcharge) breakfast was beautifully laid out, with outstanding variety of pastries and staples -- and was fun to eat. Lobby was stylish, reception desk was friendly and professional.

There wasn't anything to sit on in my room other than the bed. (I suppose I could have brought in the chair from the balcony.) Lobby could use more warm lighting -- felt cold at times.

We liked everything about our stay at Hotel Torrent. Incredibly kind, attentive hosts. Clean rooms, great room service everyday, clean towels everyday. Quite location, close to restaurants, beach and shops. We were 2 adults and 1 teenager in a triple room and didn't feel cramped at all. Fantastic clean bathroom with great rain shower. Would definitely recommend, great value for money.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel was exceptionally clean and our room was cleaned every day. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was lovely, the bed was big and comfortable. The rooftop was a bonus and plenty of space and sun beds and chairs/tables with a panoramic view. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area was very comfortable and there was no rush. We got 2 keys for the room which was useful. The lift was very good and a bonus too. It is a very central location which is ideal for getting to the old town or beach. We would recommend to our friends to stay there. The hotel exceeded our expectations and will stay again.

Very modern and spotlessly clean. Great location a very short walk to the centre of town and beach. Very friendly owner run hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and a decent size, fabulous bathroom / shower, super comfy big beds. Small balcony. Lovely roof terrace looking out to the sea.

I wish towels could be changed more often. We've been here 4 days, and they were not changed at all.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff to welcome me and even let me check in early as I arrived early. Rooms were spotless and bright, it looked like it had recently been done up. Great sized room with a lovely little balcony. Ideal location, couple of minute walk to the cafes/bars/restaurants and to the beach.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a single night's stay due to travel problems and was expecting a clean but unremarkable stay. Hotel Torrent was way more than that - friendly, up to date, and customer-focused. Everything was well maintained and the owners very willing to make us comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Nothing - this was excellent value for money

The 2 gentlemen (at the reception - I think they are the owners), are so kind and attentive. Everytime we have stayed there, we felt comfortable and they have done their best to attend our needs. The hotel is very clean and super close to the beach.

The breakfast was good. Just one thing missing was a kettle in room to make tea/coffee
