We have stayed in these Cibeles suites several times before this trip which is why we are repeat customers. If you want a clean, comfortable accommodation with easy access to museums and major galleries of Madrid then this place is for you. Plus it's walkable distance to the shops and sights of central Madrid. Staff at Reception are amazingly helpful, kind and informative about the area, and on this visit went way beyond their duties to assist us with my husband who was unwell. There are plenty of eateries of different types nearby and the Retiro gardens are not far from the nearby Puerto de Alcala. Atocha Railway station is a short taxi ride for trains or car rentals. We like the small Juliet balconies on rooms at the front on Alcala itself, and when the doors are closed it is certainly quiet despite street traffic. All kitchen facilities and a washing machine are included. Breakfast is available on a rooftop floor, but we self-catered. Our room had a shower over a bath which we prefer for flexibility. We will definitely stay here again, and hugely thank the staff for their many kindnesses.

Great location. Near the Prado and Retiro park. Restaurants everywhere. Good breakfast for 9.5 Euros. Cold fridge. Kitchen with dishes. Easy public transportation. Incredible views. Elevator. A beautiful terrace. Very sweet staff in the breakfast area. Bathroom was spacious.

Needed a instruction sheet for the appliances. The microwave was in Japanese. I never figured it out. The washing machine was unfamiliar to us. I had to post on Facebook for my friends to tell me how to use the coffee machine. There were no convenient plugs for electronics. The street was very noisy with the doors open. But quiet with them closed. The front desk staff was cordial, but not friendly. There was an apparatus to help wheelchairs cut up to the main level, but it was looked like it was a pain to use. There could have been a book with information in it for example we never found a little market anywhere around there. Or a list of stops for public transportation.

Perfect location for getting to most of the great museums - the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Museo Naval, and the Museo Arqeológico Nacional were all within easy walking distance. The Metro was also just across the street, so getting anywhere was easy. And the staff was fantastic, always helpful and able to answer our questions.

The only thing was that the beds were very firm - we prefer firm beds, but these were, shall we say, intense. But who knows? Maybe they were new mattresses or something. Not a deal-breaker by any means.

The first wonderful thing I want to mention is the incredible staff. I unfortunately did not get the names of the gentleman who assisted us with our check in or the young women who came on duty after him. Boutike should be thankful and proud to have such great employees. They recommended restaurants, websites to purchase local venue tickets from, which Flamenca was the best. They truly made the difference in this being an exceptional stay for us. Second, I want to mention the spacious, comfortable, Master Suite we had. There were four of us and this room gave us plenty of space. It was at the end of our two week trip and space was good for all of us. Nice large beds, two bathrooms and best of all, the terrace was on the same floor and only steps away from our room.

The location was very convenient to visit the major sites of Madrid. The rental was a large and very nice apartment. You could very easily live there full time and be extremely happy, everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of space. We held of on the breakfast, as we thought we might have to get out too early to make use of it, but we ended up getting it everyday and it was very good. The kids especially liked it. It really was well worth the money and overall for what you get it was a great value. The staff, both at the desk and the kitchen were all very friendly and helpful. I cant stress how well this place worked out for my family on this trip. Totally recommend! Also, if you take the express airport bus it stops right at the corner - so simple.

Excellent location. “Quieter” and smarter than the touristy areas around Sol but close enough to get there on foot. Close to the Retiro park. Bus stops and metro stops nearby. Size of apartment is very spacious.

Needs updating. You can see that the kitchen and bathroom needs to repair its cracks, mouldy grouts. Too light and noisy as we were facing the main road. Could do with proper black out blinds.

it was a bit old and the only issue was that it seemed that the pipework and air conditioning system was very old and linked in all rooms so every now and again a strong bad smell of toilet was coming from air con

Great location, good value for money, spacious apartment, superb/cheap breakfast on rooftop terrace with beautiful view, helpful staff especially at breakfast.

A few things in the apartment required maintenance but these were attended to straight away once reported.

Location , location , location ! The apartment was right next to the puerta de Alcalá , in the corner of the Retiro Park, 5 min walk to gran via (literally) Anca is so sweet and amazing ! The hotel staff are super nice and always helpful , The breakfast is good and will give you a good start , There is a pub next door and restaurants. This place was perfect for our family , we are a family of 5 so it wasn’t easy finding a safe apartment with the customer service of a hotel .
