This apartment was very spacious and well appointed. The location is exceptionally good in a classy and safe area. Although it was a 3-bedroom apartment we were only two couples which worked out fine and gave us plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped, and it was nice to be able to have a simple meal in the evening after a full day of sightseeing. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend 60 Balconies apartments to friends and fellow travellers.

Only minor details: 1- The housekeeping misses a few things and is inconsistent in cleaning i.e. forgets floor mats in the bathroom, forgets to empty the garbage bins, bed sheets had holes and the pillows are uncomfortable to sleep on. 2- In the kitchen no salt & pepper, some olive oil, etc. would have been nice. 3- No tissue papers in bathrooms 4- Only one hairdryer for 2 bathrooms! 4- Some maintenance issues i.e. wallpaper torn, walls scratched and marked. 4 AC units in the apartment with only one remote and no instructions!

The perfect location to visit Madrid. In a very hip area of town with lots of restaurants around (but still quiet in the evening) and both the more touristy center of town, and the Salamanca shopping quarter on walking distance, you are right in between them. Very spacious apartment, tastefully decorated. Very helpful staff. Owners are flexible with early check in and late check out if possible given other guest requirements.

A tiny comment: the after-hours check in. was a bit cumbersome through a machine, but "live" telephone support got us through it.

60 Balconies Design really sets a benchmark for what accommodation can be like - in my opinion it is outstanding in all aspects.

Nothing - everything was great

The staff were fantastic! I left an important item at 60 Balconies. Despite the difficulties organising the couriers, the staff were so helpful...Laura, Maria, Patricia and others. Thank you so much for your help. The parcel has now arrived in Barcelona. The property was very useful with multiple areas. Everything was available that we could need. The bed was very comfortable & bathroom & bath were excellent. Entry to property was simple & convenient. Plenty of storage room. Although we didn't need it, there was also a Murphy bed cleverly hidden! Thank you so much...we had a wonderful stay in Madrid.

Wonderful location, very close to direct train line to airport, with elegant buildings and delicious cafes and funky shops on the street. Well renovated and large.

It was not as shown in photos. We were given a large attic apartment with only skylights (zero view) and no pull out couch. It took 2 requests and 24 hours before a second bed (cot) was set up for my son. And the fridge buzzed loudly all night. But it was clean and quiet and in a fabulous location.

Safe, spotless, wonderful location. Could walk to most everything!

Receptionist had an attitude. We couldn't figure out how to get in through 1st door and she was sitting behind a windowed office watching us and never got up to help. Then we couldn't figure out where our room was and she rolled her eyes when she had to get up again to POINT to the direction of the room. She was extremely rude and not helpful.

Beautiful apartment with tons of space and we loved the location too, very charming

The machine to retrieve our key in the front didn’t work and it was stressful to have to call repeatedly when we all were tired after a long drive and needed a restroom.

Great location; walkable to all key spots in City Center. Close to Metro and Rail for access to further locations. Wonderful and spacious room; Clean, neat and modern decor. Staff was nice and very helpful. Loved the cute balcony...felt like we were in typical European modern living

Small 2nd shower. Not able to adjust room temperature, and it was colder than anticipated on a couple of nights due to rain and cooler weather.

Key machine after hours

We arrived at 7:30pm and needed to access the keys by self checkin which includes scanning your passport. The system wasn't working, we were able to call and get someone to manually enter our information so we could retrieve the key cards. Took about 20 minutes.

This was a fantastic apartment for a family...so much so I will choose this for all of our upcoming trips to Madrid. Although it is just a one bedroom it felt very spacious, and the murphy bed was great (fold down for night time, but when put away a spacious living area). While we had the space of renting an apartment it was lovely to have the cleaning staff to come daily, giving it that hotel feel. I also loved the area with so many resources on our doorstep.
