I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area both for sightseeing and shopping. The bedding comfortable, and the rooms are functional, providing all you need for a good stay. One feature I especially appreciated was the coffee machine in the room, which made mornings so much easier. The breakfast was also excellent , with a great variety of options to suit different tastes, and the quality and flavors were good too. The staff were amazing—friendly, efficient, and always attentive to our needs. Their hospitality truly made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely like to stay here again!

The room was clean and quite spacious. The highlight though was the breakfast buffet, really worth staying here just for that. An abundance of food, fruits and pastries! Chueca neighborhood is very lively, there are a lot of things to do around the hotel if you don’t feel like moving too far for the night.

The interior design of the room wasn’t of my liking but it was clean, which is more important for me. Having said that, the room after 1 day had a really strong sewage smell. I don’t know if the hotel can actually do something about that.

Good location, right next to the metro station but also a lot is within walking distance. The hotel is renovated, rooms are spacious, shower itself is great. Breakfast is delicious.

Poor ventilation in the room, especially the bathroom which results in a high humidity in the whole room. Should really be solved. Also as a suggestion: we had 4 breakfasts (delicious): 3 same and the last one completely different which we loved. Maybe hotel could do variation in breakfast more often as then not all guests get a chance to try different food for breakfast.

It's in a quieter part of Madrid, which if you're traveling with family, or students, and don't necessarily want the noise of a constant party, it's perfect. It is a very safe and pleasant walk to Gran Via- the main shopping street in Madrid. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The breakfast area is beautiful, as are the sitting areas. The building is beautiful. The staff went above and beyond the whole time. We had several sick members of our group and they delivered cookies to our room. It was a wonderful experience.

The location is superb, just above bars and taverns, filled with bustling crowds and close to the main streets and shops. The rooms are facing inwards. So no views but also no noise at all (we got the top floor so maybe lower floors heard noise). The shower was great, super hot water all that you wanted. Overall we were very satisfied with our hotel pick

There is no nice view as the rooms face inwards to the hotel. The rooms are simple and functional. The safe works weird, you need to swipe a magnetic card (like credit card) but it doesn't work smoothly. We had to call reception twice but eventually it did work, kinda frustrating. The TV is mainly Spanish channels, except for CNN.

I stayed at the Petit Palace Santa Barbara for the second time in a few years. I liked it the first time and it didn't disappoint again. The hotel's location next to the Alonso Martinez metro station makes it convenient to move around. Despite having a room facing the square/street, it was quiet and enjoyable. I had a large room on the 2nd floor, well maintained, clean and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast there so can't comment about it. The hotel is not cheap by Madrid standards, but it's of good quality.

While my room was perfect, a friend of mine who booked under similar conditions had a much smaller room, facing the courtyard. The aircon was badly placed so it would blow on your bed non-stop. The room was not as clean as mine, the empty shampoo bottle was never replaced and a few furniture pieces were damaged. Two guests, two distinctive experiences.

This hotel is awesome! The location is very good and next to a metro station (2 min walk). It feels very local, lively and yet quiet. Everything is clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful, there hotel has a charm and the included buffet-style breakfast is delicious, great for those visiting who like and need an actual breakfast early (for us coming from across the Atlantic Ocean keep in mind places in Spain start to open later than usual)

Breakfast, bedroom and location were great. The hotel is within a reasonable walking distance from several interesting spots and even has a metro station near by. All the staff were amazing, very friendly. The hotel has luggage storage.

The windows didn’t seal well, but the blackout curtain helped to block the airflow (the AC also helped). The shower stall has a short glass plantel, so water tends to splash to outside

Location, the breakfast, Pablo at the front and his impeccable recommendations and service. Liked the body wash scent/line in the bathroom.

The glassware at breakfast was dirty every morning - the glasses looked like they went through the dishwasher but looked cloudy with spots on them and felt a bit slimey.. The shower leaked out every time we used it, to the point where any drying floor towels were soaked after a 4 minute shower.

The hotel's location is perfect for a short trip to Madrid. You can walk to all the interesting landmarks within less than 30 minutes. The hotel is very nice, and the family quadruple room is very convenient for travelling with your children.

Some pieces of furniture require some fixing in the rooms. For instance, the faucet of the lavatory was damaged.
