The hotel is well situated with a metro line for quick access to and from the airport. The building is beautiful and the roof top terrace is great for a drink at the end of the day. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and great value for 15€. Our room was beautiful and spacious with elegant features. The hotel decoration is simple, refined, elegant and yet cosy. We loved this hotel ...

We loved the hotel but just some suggestions ...the breakfast room was a bit noisy not because of the guests but because of the staff who are putting away plates/cups ans then resetting the tables. But breakfast was great. Also put some real plants on the roof top terrace the plastic bamboo look at bit cheap .... but it doesn't spoil the charm or the view !!

Everything. The Room, the building, the Staff, the room and the location. Have Been In Madrid for 1 month and had to stay in 5 different hotels. Sardinero Hotel for me is the best . Loved everything. The Staff is amazing and the rooms are big. The Building itself is so beautiful and authentic. They Upgraded my room for free.Thank you to all the team of Sardinero Hotel. Definitely it will be my 1st choice if I come back to Madrid.

Lovely room, prime location, friendly staff, good A/C.

Overhead shower did not work, only the hand-held shower. The button did not work. The room cost about $300 per night (x 3 nights) and breakfast was NOT included. I would expect more than 1 coffee cartridge per day per person to be provided with the coffee maker in the room. I own a coffeemaker at home that is very similar to the one in our hotel room. However, its operation was a mystery. Each morning, I spent 10 minutes struggling with the machine before I could get it to work. I still don't know HOW it worked when it did!

Location for the Metro, dining options and shopping. Staff are very helpful, and most spoke very good English. Rooftop area/view lovely bonus. Bathroom was a good size. The Library bar area is great to chill in (could do with background music for ambience). Lollies and water in reception much appreciated after long days out in Madrid!

Nothing apart from we would have liked a kettle in the room (although there is a coffee machine) as we didn't have breakfast in the hotel.

The room was very comfortable and when the windows were closed you could barely hear the outside noise. Loved that it is on a Metro line too!

The coffee was not very good. Also, the server (male) the night we went to The Library for dinner wasn't friendly. One other thing I'm sure you can't control is that when cars drove over that metal plate in the street in front of the hotel, it would THUMP THUMP very loudly in the room. That was the primary reason we would close the window.

Location is a bit further out from the main city but we chose it because we preferred a more quiet location. Very close to a train station to take into the city centre. The front staff Lara was really friendly and helped us with our questions of what to do and eat in Madrid. The bed and room was a pretty good size for the two of us and most importantly comfortable. I'd recommend asking for the "cervical" pillow which doubles up as a bolster.

The only negative aspect of our stay is that there is no table for you to do any work in the room once we've unpacked our bags. It's a small inconvenience but one that is easily solved by just going downstairs to the cafe.

Good location, next to subway entrance so it was easy to get to the IFEEMA. Also was close to several dining venues. Room was standard size for Europe hotels and clean. I had a small balcony overlooking the traffic circle and fountain which was very nice. Bathroom facilities were also nice. Lounge on top floor was a bonus.

Unfortunately, hair conditioner not provided. I thought it was just missed but even with room servicing, I didn't receive any hair conditioner. This was a little bit unfortunate as I traveled with just a carry on, I didn't bring any conditioner.

It we came from Barcelona to spend 3 days in Madrid. The hotel was very charming . Near to the center just 15 mim by walk you see in street Serrano and all the best cools bars and restaurants around Velazquez. The rooms were very very clean, the gym was super clean and everything was just on point. The stuff amazing, the men that is on the entrance is so kind and professional. We will be back in July!

The only little thing is they should put a machine for coffee or tea for service out off fees. Because in coffee in the morning f is nothing for a just warm service, we were doing breakfast menu but then when a day we wanted just a coffee we had to pay 2 euros, that it is not problem at all but just we felt …. Unwelcome in this sense. The rest was super good

The staff was extremely helpful and polite.

The coffee process was unclear. I suggest publishing the policy around coffee and breakfast. The vinyl flooring is cheap looking for a beautiful hotel with really nice period detail. The overhead shower needs to have stronger pressure or a smaller head as the existing rain head is not good.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many great sites to visit are a maximum 30 mins walk away. I had no trouble walking to Palacio Real, Museo del Prado and Retiro park. There were a couple of interesting smaller museums nearby as well. There are many, many good food and drink options right out front which seemed pretty popular with the locals. My driver from the airport actually raved about what a good location it was.
