The room was comfortable enough for two people. The minifridge was a nice addition. The bathroom, though small, is renovated. The shower was really nice and they offer basic toiletries. I didn't get to meet the staff but got in touch through Booking messages. Most questions were answered within reasonable time. The Wifi worked perfectly well, which was absolutely necessary as we needed to have some meetings online.

We had trouble getting into the building. We arrived at 1:30 a.m. and the front door wouldn't open. We were lucky another guest let us in. The rest of the self check-in process ran smoothly.

Very good location for my needs, most of things were reachable by walking. Easy to get from the airport with subway, close to the subway station. I was surprised by the shower with massage jets, it was a nice bonus to get.

The building is quite old, so you can hear all your neighbours coughing, taking shower. If you want to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, you need to PAY 2 EUR... they have lockers, the 2 EUR is not deposit, but really a payment... It was not a cheap hostel, so I'd expect this to be a service for guests, not something to make another business on.

The room was a good size and nicely decorated and the fixtures were of high quality. The bathroom was small but very functional and clean. We loved having the little balcony so we could let fresh air in and feel the ambience from the street below. The doors where double and fitted with double glazed glass so the noise from the street was minimal.The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the option of being able to make a cuppa in the general sitting room. The lift made moving our heavy cases easy and the area we were in was fantastic for shopping, dining and sight seeing.

A bit more space is always great but it is a boutique Hotel and there was plenty of hanging space in the mirrored wardrobe and desk space. The fridge came in very handy.

Excellent location. Very close to the metro. there are pubs on the street in the evenings. The outside noise does not come into the room much. The insulation was good. A pleasant place to stay. Some mornings, snacks such as free crackers and cake were served for breakfast in the communal kitchen. Not always :) It was very nice to always have free tea, coffee or herbal tea. The first day I entered my room, there was a small problem with the curtain that did not bother me. The attendant said that this problem would be repaired by the staff. When I went out for a very short time the next day, it was fixed. The interest and sense of responsibility of the staff is very good.

Staff was great and it was in great location. Very quiet at night there was double pain doors on balcony so you couldn’t hear a lot of the outside sounds at night. Really secure at night you had to have a fob and know a security code to get in the hotel and the door had key lock on both sides of the door.

Truthfully there wasn’t any issues.

The property was ideally located in the historic center of the city, providing a convenient and prestigious setting. The accommodation offered a comfortable and well-appointed environment conducive to both work and relaxation. Its proximity to local amenities and key landmarks enhanced the overall experience, making it an excellent choice for professional travelers.

It took a bit of effort to find, as it is located on level 2 and the entry from the street is relatively unmarked

The location was great. The staff were very friendly. I felt secure. The room was OK for my needs. The apartment block is clean and I liked the fact that there is a kitchen available when staff are in attendance with some complimentary items available. Despite there being no safe in the room I thought the suites had a good level of security. Despite less than complimentary photos on Google Maps this is nice acconodation in a great location. There is a nice bar next door which did not affect my suite at the back of the premises. I would look to stay there again.

The Booking.com refers to San Mateo. I got Whatsapp messages from Homeabout which is the actual management company. This concerned me until I met the staff in person. A more accurate descriptiion might be San Mateo Suites by Homeabout etc. There was an issue with the keys not being available on arrival. Thankfully other Spanish guests were able to reassure me that someone would be returning to reception to release left luggage. The mistake was quickly rectified. The curtain in the room had been damaged before I arrived and there were scratches on the bedside table which i pointed out to the staff as I dd not want any hassle regsrding the 100 euro deposit. The bathroom facilities are open to the room and the shower is small.

The room was clean, had air condition, bathroom was clean and nice. Location is ok, you have around 10-15 minutes walking to the city center

We booked a room with 1 big bed and got a room with 2 separate small beds, but we were here only 1 night, so we didn`t mind. Read the conditions before booking, they will ask you the depozit-to hold 100€ on your bank account until you exit and they chek the room, if everything is ok they will unhold it

The staff was very attentive and with the willingness to assist. They have lockers in case you have to wait for a few hours after the checkout and you are thinking to go around without your luggage.

There are no glasses or basic cutlery in the room.
