The hotel is run by a family I'm pretty sure, the staff was friendly, the room was good, decently clean, a big bathroom, no complaints about it. It's a hotel for sleeping nothing more but it's good value for money. The location is amazing less than 5 mins away from the metro and a Mercadona too. It's relatively close to the Retiro park and other touristy places where you can easily get on foot.

The room could use some more basic stuff like a pen and paper to write and maybe a small fridge/minibar.

The staff was great, really nice and patient, me and my girlfriend are not good spanish speakers at all and still they tried a lot to understand us. It has the perfect location for a hotel, you are 5/20 minutes away (walking distance) from every relevant museum and place to visit, I never got on my motorcycle once I was there, in just 2 full days we went to Templo de Debod, Palácio Real, Museo del Prado, MAN, mercado de San Miguel and Thyssen. We felt like we could walk everywhere... And although it is so centered, the hotel is placed in a very lowkey street which makes it feel very secure and never overwhelming. For motorcycle travellers: It has resident parking space in front (that technically is only free for 2 hours if you are not resident) and it always had quite a bit of space, if you park your motorcycle there I don't believe you'll have any trouble with the police, depending on the room you might even be able to see it from your window. But keep in mind that the hotel's street has people going through during the day and night so it is what it is, but I didn't have any problem whatsoever regarding that.

The tub was a bit clogged and if you have loud neighbors, you will hear them and their business if you know what I mean. The room had enough space for comfort but it really was just bed and bathroom.

The room was clean and tidy and more than sufficient for our needs. Once we had worked out how to operate the blind in the bedroom we could sleep well. Aircon was great! Shower was small but efficient, had everything we needed. Towels were plentiful and clean. Access requires 2 flights of stairs - but there is a stair lift up to the first floor. Location was excellent for all local attractions and restaurants etc. Our host was very helpful and kind. Storing our bags on the last day was a bonus not offered by many.

Our bedroom opened into the reception area and could be quite noisy at times with people doing late check-ins or departures. However, there were rooms further away from reception. Maybe a rug in this area would dampen the noise a bit? I didn't like that there were no additional blankets in the room, just the bed cover and a sheet. I like to have more choice as although my sister liked the air con on, I was freezing and needed a blanket and by the time I realised this, it was too late to disturb anyone.

While this is not a fancy big hotel, it's a perfect choice for the visiting the city. The location is just awesome, everything is near, museums, restaurants etc. Air conditioner works perfectly, which is blessing in the summer. The room is tidy, clean, there's table if you need to work, wifi a bit slower than i'd prefer, but works. All in all, i would come back when i next visiting Madrid

The lady that welcomed me at the reception was incredibly friendly, despite me arriving late at night and not speaking any Spanish at all. She took time to tell me about places in Madrid that were worth visiting and gave me directions. She took me to my room and helped me with an iron and a hairdryer. The room was spotlessly clean and the aircon was very efficient. The location was very central and convenient.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like! A tip for other travellers - the entrance is not so obvious. I took a taxi from the airport which dropped me outside the hotel but from street level it was hard to see the sign - there is just a small buzzer by the door which you need to ring. Although breakfast is not an option here, there is a supermarket just at the end of the street and I was pleased that my room had a fridge so I could pick something up the evening before. The pillow was one long bolster pillow - a second would have been nice.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times. I like the owner very much, he has great energy and is very helpful. He got me a cab in the morning for the airport. A nice busy section of town with lots of places to eat and little grocery stores. Even so it was very quiet. My room was very comfortable and warm with a great shower.

Everything was perfect including the price.

I had a wonderful experience at this hostel in Madrid. The location is excellent, perfectly situated in a quiet area yet close to the center. The size of the hostel is perfect, not too large or too small. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable and convenient accommodation in Madrid.

Great area, clean accommodation and an outstanding staff member, Media (I hope that’s correct). On our arrival we were given a map and told about the area and things to do. My wife was sick and Media was extremely helpful, the nicest person we’ve met on our trip.

Everything was great

The rooms were clean. The host couple were extremely cooperative and active. They were available all the time and were very efficient. They also stored my luggage after checkout.

You have to climb 2 floors by stairs to reach to the rooms. The building itself is very old but the rooms are renovated.

2nd floor door on the right. Leafs into a completely modernised clean and spacious group of rooms. It was in an old building with old wooden stairs but once inside the hostel everything was very good.
