Beautiful building and beautiful garden

Very limited choice of breakfast

Top terrace, beautiful hotel, excellent location. Rooms in the adjacent building were good but not as extraordinary as the rest of the hotel.

I loved the hotel’s luxurious design inside- out, and the staff’s support & kindness. The paper roll in the bathroom was of excellent quality with beautiful stitching! They accommodated us for an upgrade as the rooms were smaller than expected, which was very much welcoming! The room service people were truly kind & helpful in anyway they could, which said a lot about their hospitality🍓 The food was good but a bit salty and if you enjoy your meats well done, you’ll need to reinforce such as in Europe that it’s still medium rare from the inside. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

Salty food (e.g. seafoods as fish) and not fully cooked. meats still medium rare vs well done when asked for such.

We booked as a treat since our flight got canceled. We thought if we had to overnight in Madrid we would do it in style. The property is stunning beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the sheets were amazing soft!

Beautiful hotel, property and excellent staff. We loved the decor, the focus on details and the outside grounds (despite the cool weather during our visit). The bar (with local cocktail) was a highlight. We had a nightcap each night of our stay. The breakfast room (library) was amazing too.

Our room was excellent, but not enough outlets to plug in our devices. Also, a bit dark (especially with the shades drawn)

Very close from everything and I really love the neighborhood. All the stuff was very friendly and helpful and excellent service.

What didn’t we like? First of all the building itself is like a mini castle in a quiet and cozy part of town. All of the staff are nothing short of amazing. The rooms are stunning. The breakfast in the garden (aka oasis) was exceptional. I wouldn’t consider any other hotel in Madrid.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly, worthy of a palace. The location is excellent too.

There was only 1 small window, that did not let enter much outdoor light. Also, no dimmer that allowed to control the lights for a smooth waking.

The hotel/ former palace is beautiful, both outside and inside. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and friendly and we've had all our needs taken care of (special thanks to Hector!). The rooms are cosy, clean and the beds dreamy. The breakfast room with a la carte menus is just perfect. Everything was as expected from a hotel of this category. We'd definitely come back.
