My cousin and I stayed here on our first trip to Madrid! It was awesome, the rooms were clean, we booked the twin room so each of us got out own beds. There was ample storage space and the bathroom was large and very clean. The hotel is situated in a very walkable and accessible part of Madrid, perfect for if you're looking to not be in the heart of the action of the tourist hot spots but close enough that it's an affordable Uber ride or nice walk. The neighbourhood is safe and clean, near many restaurants, stores, fast food places, and bars!

Our only complaint was how flat the pillows were. Otherwise everything is great!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood with excellent dining and shopping nearby. My room was small, but had everything I needed.

For people who want to take public transportation, the location is a little far from major transit hubs. Taxis are plentiful, though, and I don’t mind walking, so this wasn’t a big issue for me.

The hotel is a little more run down since i last visited 10 years ago, but the rooms are comfortable and the towels still have the "This is a towel" printed on them which is a wonderful touch.

The staff had checked the breakfast box on my check in card as my company do not usually book breakfast for me. I thought this had been given as a freebie. While the breakfast looked good, i had a coffee and a slice of toast and was charged the full amount. My fault on that one.

The breakfast is extraordinary. Beside the great choice of fine food, the personal touch is present. The staff quickly, efficiently and with great positive attitude resolved some minor tehcnical issues that appeared. If you are breakfast lover and you do care about the attitude of the staff, that's the right place.

Nothing. There were some minor issues resolved in such a positive way that I might consider them as a positive experience.

The hotel is well located with easy access, and the staff ( Belen and Mery) were very helpful, very friendly, and customer oriented. 😀

The air conditioner had a water drip and was a hazzard. The floor became wet and slippery. My kids complained about the sofa bed, they said it was too hard and too low. The price of the room was a bit high compared to other hotels in the same area.

The breakfast was inclunded and was a large spread of options, not a cheap motel type breakfast. It was very nice to start each day with the breakfasts provided.

Their roof safes are not digital code based but are credit card sweep based. The problem is that the sensors don't work consistently. It was very frustrating. They need to switch out their safes to four digit digital models.

Location is excellent for those who want to visit museums (Prado, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum) and enjoy shopping. 4 bus routes 20 meters to the left of the hotel, any of the buses will take you to the "Museum Quarter", National library and Tourist office (4 - 6 bus stops or 20 minutes of walk in a good weather). To the right of the hotels - "kilometres" of a luxury shopping (in fact for any budget). Service is perfect. The staff is great. My special thanks to Olga, she knows almost everything about Madrid, museums, logistics. She loves her city and her job. She is helpful and professional. I would like also to mention her colleagues Juan and Yago. They are very attentive and helpful. I also want to thank the staff of the hotel restaurant for amazing breakfast.

However, the hotel needs a serious renovation. This disadvantage, however, is compensated by the excellent staff.

Cozy room, comfortable bed, clear instructions everywhere, good breakfast, and nice and educated staff

The walls are paper thin, I could hear clearly everyone walking on the corridor and there was a bit of mold in the shower, the tiniest amount, but there were some.

The hotel's location is exceptional: just a few metres from the Castellana and with one foot in Salamanca and the other in Chamberi. All the front desk staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. It is a hotel that I recommend especially for short stays. Very comfortable!

My only observation is the heating system we had in the room (the room was hot, but I was unable to lower the temperature).

Location and breakfast

It needs to have a refurbishment on ailes as they seem a bit old and dirty- and reception as well. And cleaning ladies more careful with hairs on the sheets of the bed. Urge to put a gym as well
