The location was grand with easy access to restaurants and transportation. Even late at night I travelled safely without any hassle. The room was good size with a beautiful view of the city. The staff was very welcoming in spite of the language barrier. Loved it.

Eventhough the hostel had sent a detailed direction to help me find the location, still it took me a while to figure out the building. It’s the corner building on 5th floor, buzz it and you will be let in

The owner was calm and helpful. He explained the rules of staying at the Hostal. Spacy room, everything was spot clean. Great location with real Spanish coffee and tea shops, cervecerias, pizzerias and super markets. In Chamberi, that's where the true spanish heart beats. Just off the Centrocentro of Madrid. If you like walking and exproring the city, the ideal place to be. Great to stay for 2-3 nights.

Not changing the room towels, not fixing the beds, not throwing your garbage are small faults. If you want it all you should go somewhere else and pay more that the 80€ per night.

loud people with no respect to others in the other rooms even like at 2:30 am who make a huge noise the whole night that it was impossible to get a proper sleep.

Great staff, very welcoming! The room was very clean, and the hostal location is excellent. For the price you are paying its hard to ask for more.

The hair dryer didn't work and had exposed wires. Also, there was only one long pillow in the bed, which wasn't enough for me and my wife, maybe we should have noticed before and asked and they might had more to offer but it was late.

I liked the staff, the location, the price, the cleanliness, and the bed was comfortable.

I will only suggest putting a hook on the wall to hang the coat, etc., and blinds or curtains in the window.
