The location of this hotel is excellent. We traveled as a family with our 2 toddlers and had booked one of the big rooms with bunk beds. The room is spacious and works perfectly for a family of four. I found the bunk beds to not be super safe though. The upper bed had loosen screws which we addressed and it was fixed. There is a big playground 2 min walk from the hotel, pharmacies, restaurants, shops. Everything you could potentially need is right there. The bus station also is right there and the metro.

The room service was not good. We ordered soup, Bolognese pasta, salads and a burger. We only ate the burger which was average, but the rest was horrible. So especially if you with kids I would avoid doing the food service, its expensive and not tasty. Any of the restaurants around the corner would be much better. Also, we learned that Madrid has many protests and there was one going on in the evening. Though we were on the 8th floor we could hear all of it. So something to keep in mind if you want a quiet space.

The location is very hard to find with Google Maps and taxi driver and I had many issues in finding it - please update google maps pin!

In order of experience: Proximity to metro station. They accepted check-in upon our early arrival (~1.30pm). Family room was warm, spacious, and welcoming. Kids enjoyed the bunk bed. Water bottle was offered in the minibar in the room. Great location, walking distance to main attractions in the city center, and with view to the Plaza de España. Very good breakfast buffet, open till 11am on weekend, and accommodated our request for fried eggs that were not available in the buffet options.

Room was a bit used, showing some minor damage here and there. I still find the price high, but it is not just this hotel problem, rather a city issue. A minor detail, I like to have the "sleep" and "wake up" options on the TV, but couldn't find them.

Location was fantastic - 30 feet from the Espana metro station and right on the Gran via. If you want to be in the heart of Madrid, you can’t beat the location 10/10 Breakfast was so easy and good selection Room size was excellent, allows you to spread out a bit (we had room 2204, corner unit on the 2nd floor) Hotel staff was exceptional, really enjoyed them

Our shower head wouldn’t stay up on the pole - so you basically had to hold it while your showered with one hand No TV streaming capabilities - we had a fire stick and had used it across Europe, but the TV’s were old and don’t have any HDMI plugs in them Room was quite dated - could use a refresh for sure - also the couch pillows could use a good steam cleaning Walls are super thin - the group next to us were loud and we could hear them laughing and talking well into the early hours

In Booking.com it says it has parking but it doesnt they just have a discount with a public parking one block away, its even hard to stop at front of the hotel to leave thebaggagge since the avenue is extremely busy. Its hard to find because the hotel name is hard to see and sign is small. It has a staircase and no ramp to get the luggage to reception and no elevator up to ground level. It was ok but i would not go back

The location of the hotel is superb, right next to Plaza de España and at the end of Gran Via. There is a metro station right outside the hotel which makes visiting Madrid very easy.

The bathroom was a bit small and there wasn’t extraction so it would get very steamed. Breakfast could be improved

We had a nice large room which was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, there was a good choice of items and all fresh and delicious.

Our room was at the back of the hotel. We did not pay for a view. The only problem was, was that it was noisy in the early hours of the morning when the vans were delivering goods to the food market. Lots of banging and crashing around. Also there were gangs of youths hanging around, also being noisy,

The bed was super comfortable. The room was very spacious. I didn’t hear any noises from the street. The staff during checkout was super helpful. The location was amazing!!! Complementary water was a nice gesture

I had 2 huge suitcases and the entrance has many steps. The staff during check in saw me struggle and didn’t even offer to help, i carried everything myself. Also, the internet kept getting disconnected which was annoying

Great location. Good breakfast and very clean. Despite the very central location it was very quiet

I would have loved a coffee machine or kettle in the room to make a hot drink after a long day sightseeing. Also take care with the mini bar. My fault but I misunderstood the sign for the complimentary water and used two bottles. One small bottle cost 7.50 euro

The room and beds were very comfy and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient to a relatively non-touristic area to the North, which was great for exploring! It was winter and we had a bit of problem with heating, but the staff helped up to turn it off, solving the problem. There was potential for noise, but we were around the corner from the busy street and with the window closed it was fine. Great access also to the number 001 bus, which is free!

Very difficult with the shower design to avoid getting water on bathroom floor.
