I was pleased with the spacious and well-maintained room during my stay. The amenities were excellent, offering a comfortable environment, and the hotel's location, while suitable for a motorway stopover which was my case and I was so happy with it, but, it was quite distant from the city center, making it less ideal for city exploration.

However, my experience was somewhat marred by the staff's lack of professionalism and friendliness, which occasionally affected the overall quality of service. Additionally, the access policy for the swimming pool, involving a communal key system and deposit, was inconvenient. The room rates were on the higher side, mentioning that it doesn't include breakfast.

We love the location, the underground secure car park, the bar and open lounge, relaxing ambience of the public areas.

1. In this age of technology, we think it’s time to install more plug sockets in the rooms. 2. We were in room 110 and we could constantly hear a squeaking door (from perhaps a kitchen, below). Please someone oil it!!!!

Staff were really nice. Kitchen had closed for the afternoon when we arrived but the lady at the bar still made us a toastie and salad.

The aircon kept the room at a good temp but we would have liked it a few degrees colder but it a fixed temp. We would stay again.

Spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom. Good double glazing - no road noise. Good restaurant with very good value evening meal (20€ per head for 3 courses, bottle of wine, bottle of water, bread and coffee) and 10€ buffet breakfast. Smart entrance lobby, seating area, bar and restaurant. Good parking on site. Reception staff very efficient and pleasant as was the head waiter in restaurant. We would have given higher marks barring air conditioning and restaurant opening.

Air conditioning not so effective and there was no way to adjust it, room too hot for sleeping. Had to wait for restaurant to open - I know Spain has later hours but it was about 8.40pm before it opened. The restaurant seems too small for the large number of guests. First stay really quiet - second stay some noisy guests 5am.

Can booking.com get it into their head this hotel is called Hotel Europa. We spent an hour looking for Hospedium. But what a find! Plush furnishings, marble floors and walls. Beautiful building. Good food.

Family rooms are nice and big. Clean. The swimming pool across the street incl. tennis court / football field is perfect for the children to play.

The beds / mattresses were not that great and after / for a long drive my back was hearting me a little.

A convenient hotel in northern Spain, previously stayed here when heading for the Santander ferry, this time heading for France. it has an underground secure car park (€8 fee- worth it for peace of mind). Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. good value for money in a quiet area of Spain, near to road links north and south.

Like many Spanish hotels and restaurants, evening meals are late, this one didn’t open until 8.30 pm. Far too late for us so we drove 10 minutes to eat at a fast food burger restaurant, not ideal but suited us as a one off

Great location just off the motorway. Travelling with our dog, who was made welcome and plenty of places to walk her across land a short walk behind the hotel, so perfect. Large room with comfortable beds. Great selection for breakfast.

The hotel is very easy to find being situated just off the motorway. The room was large, clean and well maintained and the public areas of the hotel in general were bright and smartly furnished, I stayed for just one night a day or two before it closed for the season. The hotel was very quiet.

It's a smart hotel but location isn't great. It sits in a small village with not much to see, do or places to eat and drink. If you want an overnight stop or base to explore the region then its worth a look.
