Quiet location, great sea views. Spacious appartement. Comfy beds. Supermarket in walking distance. 20 min to nearest beach. Very friendly staff. Secure parking in underground garage.

No soap or other hygienic articles in bathroom. No hooks to hang up towels. No kitchen towels. Sofa not comfy, no cushions. Chair grubby. No place mats or coasters for the table. Room lacks cosiness. Neighbours noisy, banging doors. There is a new building site close to the hotel and on some days they were drilling and hammering all day which made a relaxed stay on the otherwise lovely balcony impossible.

Everything was like expected : the appartment is quite big (from a Parisian perspective) and pretty well equipped, the balcony is not big but enough still. It's really not far from the seaside and all commodities (shopping, restaurants, etc). The pool is open 10-22h, and a set of utilities is provided (1 sponge, a small manual dishwashing soap bottle for 1 or 2 days, a tabletop mop, 1 pod for laundry, one for dishwasher)

For a region with SO MUCH DELICIOUS oranges, this place, like every other we visited lacked a manual citrus fruits juicer!

Really enjoyed our stay here for 13 nights.. Apartment was really spacious with 2 bathrooms. Everything you needed. The small onsite shop is a great touch. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Pool area is perfect and never too busy, gets the sun all day.. Supermarket 10 mins walk down the hill though a bit longer to get back up the hill! We were happy to walk everywhere but if you aren't used to walking it could be challenging. The port is approximately 20 minutes walk and has a great range of bars and restaurants. Would recommend and will be back again.

Nothing! Everything was great.

People at reception and the cafe were great. Very helpful and friendly. I also liked the fact that the reception desk and even the cafe is staffed all day. The entire grounds, the pool area, the bar and cafe area are good. The place was very peaceful at the time I visited, 3rd week of December. I also liked the nearby beach town of Sabanillas. (Good tapas there, and a little Spanish cafe as well.) For more International (and more expensive) food, try the Duquesa port area, with its scenic views of the port.

The pool was unheated so, too cold for me. The cafe has only a very small selection of items. It would be good to serve some kind of lunch or dinner. Most people staying here would need a car. You might be able to get by without a car, provided you have very little baggage and are capable of walking 15-20 minutes up to the hotel. (or get Uber). There are 6-8 busses a day from Estepona stopping at Castillo / Duquesa.

It was broadly, as described, and the staff were very friendly

There was a sense that nothing had been checked (so the heating did not work for instance, and we all wasted time trying to fix and remedy the situation, the dishwasher did not wash), and the disabled facilities could have been better.

I brought a touring hockey team to stay for four nights at the end of October. We were 24 people in total. The apartments were ready for us when we arrived at 2am and the receptionist helpful and smiley. The apartments are spacious and clean. The cafe provides simple breakfasts. The staff very helpful and friendly. The price was very reasonable. We could not have asked for more. Parking underground is spacious and secure.

For the money and the purpose, it was absolutely bang on.

Great staff, clean, easy to access, lots of parking, quiet, large apartments, great value for money.

It wasn’t something that I didn’t really like. We rented a 3 bedroom apartment. The only problem was that the balcony was really small for our size of family, but the staff was very nice and as soon as another apartment was available with a bigger terrace, we got moved. So is not a minus, but an advantage on their side.

The apartment is very nicely equipped with a small but good kitchenette. The apartment decor is classic, but nice enough tho the sofas were not good at all, which was a shame as the furniture is in lovely taste and quality. The place and grounds is very well kept and will definitely be returning in the summer. Excellent parking facilities too.

There was nothing that would put me off from returning, but I hope they get better sofas!

have stayed at manilva sun numerous times. staff are always very friendly and helpful and apartments clean and comfortable. there is a pool and small shop on site and good wifi in the rooms. always happy here, in a good area with things close by (Duquesa, Estepona, Marbella, Gibraltar and beaches) and plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a gym just down on the main road, for those that like to stay fit

not sure i can think of anything.

Manilva sun is so relaxed from the moment you arrive, staff make you feel very welcome & nothing is the much trouble to ask for from them, great pool area always clean & tidy, the apartment was great with almost everything you need for your stay, great underground car park which was safe & secure,

Kitchen could do with a toaster & some tea towels, & maybe a better bottle opener
