Our recent stay at La Dulcinea was really nice. When I walked in, I immediately felt calm, like I was in a zen garden. The smell of oranges in the air was amazing, and hearing the birds singing made it even better. The room was super clean and had a cool vibe to it. The hosts were really friendly and made me feel welcome. Plus, the breakfast they served was delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer because everything was so peaceful and nice. I definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

Beautiful peaceful oasis, so close to the hustle and bustle of Sotogrande. There are only a few rooms, and some friends and I rented all of them for a local wedding, and it made the place feel more like a villa than a hotel! The hosts were so lovely, and the breakfasts very tasty. Would 100% recommend.

It’s beautiful -a house built by the owners in a Mexican style, richly decorated and the walls are in such a warm colour. Comfortable king size bed, nice sized bathroom with a good shower. We didn’t try the pool, it’s a bit early in the year yet but it’s a good size and would be lovely in warmer weather. Excellent and varied breakfast, everything tasty and fresh, beautifully presented, and plenty without being overwhelming.

The owners were so friendly and the house is beautiful in a very calm & peaceful setting. The breakfast was lovely with flowing filter coffee served looking over the garden & pool. Highly recommend this beautiful villa if looking for somewhere in Sottogrande that’s more quirky & better value than a hotel .. 🙏

La Dulcinea is an absolutely magical place, with a soul. It is located in a quiet, private neighborhood, where birds wake you up in the morning. Rooms are spacious and unique, each is different. The moment I entered this place, I felt relaxed. Owners are great people, who put all their hearts into this place. What's more, they serve you a yummy breakfast! Highly recommend to choose this place for your stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Fruit, eggs, bread, coffee or tea, it was all offered to me and I could only choose what I wanted. The hosting couple are very friendly and helpful.

Perhaps better communication about my arrival. I had to wait a little and even call to find out where to enter and what my room was.

It is a little paradise! Very attractive neighbourhood, lovely home with beautiful gardens. Although just off the motorway, central and easy to find, the only noise is the wind through the trees and the incredible birdsong. Room and bathroom were great, and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent, everything you could wish for - fruit, cheese, meat and bread and very good coffee. Bie and Ian could not be more welcoming. They made us feel we had the place to ourselves, whilst they were at the same time being attentive to our slightest whims. We left feeling we had made rather special new friends.

Not much to dislike but a general tip for staying in sotogrande is to take a plug in ‘bug’ repellent for comfortable sleeping.

A wonderful stay with our hosts. Everything clean and inviting. Quiet neighbourhood for a good nights sleep. Perfect location to visit Gibraltar from. If only the weather would have been warm enough for us to use the pool and enjoy the garden and sun loungers!

Myself and my partner stayed here for some relaxation after a three day wedding , and loved it. The place is beautiful. The hosts couldn’t have done more for us , from calling taxis to even letting us book another night when our flight was cancelled. If I could give thick place a 100 out of 10 I would. The bedroom was gorgeous with air con and the bathroom even had a bath. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the breakfast was also amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay Cholie & Liam x
