I stayed In this hotel for the first time almost exactly 9 years ago and now looks almost the same but older. However, it's well maintained and it's still the best hotel in La Línea. Even though it's closed the main road it's quite and there's a nice view from some rooms (on Gibraltar and a sea). It's 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 20 minutes from the boarder, but you can walk along the sea so it's a pleasant walk. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Balcony furniture are missing. The website does not provide information about the availability of the swimming pool, which was closed during my stay.

Myself and my mum booked a twin room which was abit dingy, we had a small window which looked over the swimming pool if you hung out of the window. I asked reception if I could change to a room with a balcony, they only had a double which was fine and we had a lovely view overlooking the Gibraltar Rock and the sea. I have stayed in this hotel twice before and would definitely go back.

I didn't like that there was no kettle or iron and ironing board in the rooms, but was given both immediately when asked at reception. They also only had one complimentary item ie toothbrush, etc in a double room, but not that much of an issue.

Close to the border. We parked our car on the street and not with hotel. Parking was easily available. Staff was great and helpful. Got good advice regarding choosing taxi to go to Gibraltar border which was only 5 euro. Good restaurants in vicinity and in the center which was 15-20 mins walk away. Pool and pool area is nice too. It's not beach front but one street away from the sea side. Good views from the room. Beach is close by. Overall our stay was pleasant. It's not high end Marriott but decent enough.

Travelling round andalucia this hotel has the most expensive breakfast charge we have paid at any hotel for a very mediocre breakfast, 6 slices of bread left for toast, no small dish to put preserve in so have to butter and do at toasting station. Poor choices and no refills of food by unintetested staff., food dishes left empty. This at 9am breakfast served until 10.30am. Staff come and take their breakfast from clients choices while clients eating their breakfast.. Shame as we have had lovely breakfast to start our days in our other stays.

I loved how handy it was near to bus location when we went to bahia park, the hotel was beautiful and supermarket round the corner which was handy. Very friendly staff and well cleaned hotel. Lift did breakdown a couple of times whilst being there.

The bed was rather uncomfortable hard mattress woke up with alot of aches and pains. Could of done with a balcony to sit on. Toilet was a bit faulty button would get stuck or wouldn't flush properly

The rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. The shower is excellent. Everything very clean and well maintained.

The reception staff was never there at the reception. Every time I needed they were in the office. On the check in, I didn’t receive any information about the property, and not even a “welcome”. The only moment I got a smile from the receptionist, was on my check out.

The hotel was convenient for both Spain and Gibralter. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I made use of the gym which had great equipment in it. The pool wasn't open as it was out of season but that outdoor area looked great. No tea and coffee in your room but tea and coffee was available free of charge from 11am to 7pm in a lounge area.

Nothing... great value for money

I was touring Spain on my Harley and the key attraction of this hotel is that they have a secure underground car park. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area one block away from the coast and a 25 minute walk from the entrance into Gibraltar. There was a bus stop close to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice - a comfy bed and a refrigerator in my room.

Beds and pillows were amazing, we slept super well! Although it is an older hotel it was very clean and had been refurbished. Great breakfast area and there is underground parking. We stayed as had dinner with friends somewhere close by and it was going to be a late night, otherwise the area isn’t the best…

The pool was a little small given size of hotel

The location was convenient for visiting Gibraltar. Our room was spacious and clean with all the facilities and amenities we needed. Our accommodation did not include breakfast. I am taking this opportunity to include my next comments under this heading. Due to car breakdown we extended our stay and the staff were very accommodating in enabling this. Both Miguel and Marisa, reception staff, went beyond their remit in helping us with this situation. As we did not possess sufficient Spanish to converse efficiently , they both helped with all the necessary correspondence and telephone calls by liaising with the breakdown service and repair garage to enable our car to be returned to us as quickly as possible. We would have been at a great loss without their help who are an asset to this hotel.
