The property is located in a small but cute village near a free public parking which is very convenient and easy to reach. The communication by the staff was excellent. We got in touch via Whatsapp, they replied very quickly and were willing and helpful. We got clear info on self check in, about the location and public parking and also good tips for getting to Gibraltar. The room itself was a good size, had a fridge and a microwave, the bathroom was spacious and everything was clean. There was a vending machine on the ground floor which might be useful.

Good location in the center of town and a short drive to the border with Gibraltar. Plenty of free public parking nearby. Eva from the hostal was super helpful and ended up staying a bit late just so she could personally check us in rather than have us go through a self-check-in procedure. She also got us a free upgrade to a better room and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The room itself was spacious and clean and very comfortable.

Nothing - everything was great!

This place was a pleasure to stay in. We stayed for 4 nights. It was spacious, extremely clean and the bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower. The lady at the reception desk was so nice. She was professional and helpful while being really friendly. It is next to all the bars and restaurants but it is not noisy and a just a 5 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach. The walk to the beach is pretty along a river. There is also lots of parking nearby. This had more of a hotel feel rather than a hostel.

There was nothing we did not like

Was a good place to stay if you are using the ferry’s to Morocco . It was quiet and easy to find . The young lady on the counter was more than helpful . Bikes can be parked out the front and was ok to be left . Would use again

It was hard to find anywhere open ie bars and shops . The kebab shop was always open , few steps away from the hotel . They made me a vegetarian pizza 😎

It was the biggest surprise in the whole our journey - we expected a modest, normal hotel with no 'oh' but starting with the accomodation process (totally automated, with very clear leads send earlier by whasapp) everything was surprising. Very comfortable beds in a spacy room, cleanliness and a real helpful contact with a reception via whatsapp (we came in sunday late evening). In the morning there was a real person who gave us some hints about finding breakfast and she was a really nice ending of the stay. Oh, and it's just near of the main square of the town (little one) so you are close to restaurants and a big parking. Recommended!

Thoroughly pleasant and clean. Buses to Gibraltar, so I didn't have to use the car for the whole stay. Good little beach. Very handy café, opposite. Wish I understood more Spanish, my fault. But it would have made the stay even better. I'm English, lived in Gibraltar for 10 years, 28 years ago. So, visiting Gibraltar was part of the holiday activities.

Can't think of a thing. My lack of Spanish, if anything.

Eva was an exceptional host, full of helpful advice. Great position, next to a free car park. A very Spanish little town, good restaurants, cafes all reasonably priced. Good base for visiting Gibraltar (20 mins drive away)

Wonderful Spanish hotel in the Heart of Palmones. Free parking across the road. The staff are so happy to help and very lovely to deal with. Rooms immaculate and clean . Palmones offers lovely restaurants especially the fish restaurant on the beach with a great view of Gibraltar. Love the area and hotel, we will be back!

It was bright and airy and very central. Eva was a wonderful host who could not do enough and we extended our stay. Being able to open our windows and look down on the street was a bonus too. Alucina restaurant is only 50m away and fantastic food without all the hustle of the bigger restaurants further up the road.

Staff were great. Location is good, cafe and restaurants along the street. Pathway along river to the Beach is 1 block away. 20 minute walk to bus for Granada or Algeciras.

This is a budget hotel that exceeded my expectations. Bathroom is small, but functional and clean.
