The Hotel is well located on the Golden Mile. The room was spacious & comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with a wide choice of foods. The pool area was very good with plenty of beds for all & towels supplied.

Finding out at the hotel that they did not serve alcohol due to the owners beliefs. Which in the grand scheme of things is not an issue, but it should be indicated on the website- Booking.com, as it does state that there is a bar facility available.

I loved the comfort of the hotel, the breakfast, the pool location, room service for food. Peaceful area, and quality of people around, also the mosque nearby which we could hear call of prayers sometimes. Staff are super helpful and kind. They clean the rooms like brand new which is so important for me.

The only 2 things I didn’t like is that we had a noisy teenagers in the next room beside us and were extremely loud at late hours in the night, I called the receptionist and they managed to solved the situation so I could sleep peacefully. The other point is that I requested twin beds room, since I was sharing the room with my brother, however, they gave us a one bed room and when I told them they sent the room service to separate the beds. Which gave us a feeling of not a smoothly and ready check in situation. Other than that I was so happy about this hotel and definitely I would recommend it and come back to it again if I ever visit Marbella again!

The location was good. Could walk to the beach in 5 to 10 minutes or so. The environment around the hotel is very nice with the palm trees. The staff was friendly there is a good restaurant on site with delicious food. The rooms were fine and not too noisy, although if on seaside view you hear lot of cars from the road next to it. It didn't bother me though. Bathroom was nice. Good shower.

I paid more than my friend. I had one room with sea view, he didn't. His room seemed slightly bigger and had a couch and bathtub, and was cleaner, which seemed a bit unfair as mine didn't have those things. My room had some areas that lacked maintenance and looked a bit dirty. I did not expect that at a 5 star hotel. Also found it confusing to control the lights, as simple as it sounds. I couldn't keep one light on next to the bed somehow. Just nitpicking here, overall the room was clean and the lighting wasn't really a problem of course. The seaside view has a sea view but it is quite far away and you don't see a lot of sea, just keep thst in mind. Thr pool closes at 7pm as well, which seems quite early. No evening swim. It just feels more like a 4 star hotel, not 5.

Easy and smooth check-in/out process. Great selection at breakfast. The room was quite modern with a balcony (mountain view), that was nice.

I chose one large bed option at the booking. The bed was 2 small put together and there was like 2-3 cm height gap between the 2 beds. So I had to choose one to sleep on (couldn't stay in the middle really). It was nice the hotel provided complimentary water bottles upon arrivial. Though they were refilled only on the 3rd day (and not the 2nd). I suggest the hotel management to improve the room cleaning quality control.

I moved to Block 2 where the rooms were more spacious, the staff were very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the location was perfect

Upon checking out my flight wasn’t until the evening, there was no shower facilities after I checked out of my room even though the hotel is advertised as 5 star!

The fact that there was no alcohol made me as a Muslim, very comfortable. Also everything being halal was really good. Great quality and variety at breakfast. The facilities and overall maintenance of the hotel are spot on. The pool is huge and you don't end up swimming into other people. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. You can have your room cleaned up until 5pm which gives you flexibility. Each room has an iron and ironing board which is a great touch that many hotels miss. Love that the gym was open 24 hours.

I booked a sea view room however I could barely see the sea from my room. So I think the way this is advertised is very misleading and needs urgently reviewing. The area is residential so you can only really see trees, houses and a bit of sea. The WiFi did not work whilst sitting on the balcony which is not ideal. The room itself seemed smaller than advertised. The gym was missing a proper bench press which was strange given its a very common work out. The gym itself could have been slightly bigger. The hotel itself is located in a lovely residential area, but the traffic noise is loud and can be heard with the balcony doors closed.

A beautiful hotel in a good location with excellent service from its staff. We visited for a weekend break in September 2024. The hotel is located on Marbella’s Golden Mile with high-end restaurants, like Nobu, within very easy walking distance. The beach, with a choice of beach clubs, is also close by. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens with plenty of space. The swimming pool is big and beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and a nice little snack bar – this hotel is a wellness hotel and therefore does not serve any alcohol. We weren’t aware of this before our trip but we enjoyed the non-alcoholic alternatives on offer. At exactly 7 o'clock in the evening, the moment the pool closed, a small flock of seagulls descends into the pool to play, flutter their wings and generally gather around. This was very interesting to watch, especially with the precision of their timing! The buffet breakfast is extensive with abundant choice, including eggs cooked to your choice by the egg chef while you wait. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a balcony overlooking the Golden Mile and a large bathroom. It was super-clean and everything in it felt new. We would love to visit the Alanda Marbella Hotel again in the future.

Our room was located on the ground floor, with the pool on the floor above us. This felt a little dark (closed in) at times but overall it turned out to be ok. It's just that we would have preferred a room on a higher floor.

The room was clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Didn't have time to use the pool as much as it looked very inviting.

The room cleaning service was inconsistent in its level of service. Some days you would get water, the other days not, then no coffe/mugs not cleaned, bathroom utilities not replaced when used. Perhaps the staff number were down and therefore little time to clean each room, but there was not a consistent level of service. There was also a large group of Japanese at the hotel who were clearly playing golf in the area. When they returned to their rooms in the early hours they were quite noisy, and therefore was woken up each night until they settled in their rooms.

The hotel was excellent, very clean, and the housekeeping team arranged our room every day. The staff were generally helpful and respectful, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable

The only negative point was the person who checked us in. He was unfriendly, looked annoyed, and when I asked him a question about the room, he answered but then made an inappropriate comment in Spanish to his colleague, assuming I wouldn’t understand. I understand some Spanish, so this left a very unprofessional impression.
