Excellent location and lovely. roomy well-appointed two bed apartment with living area, ,kitchen, roomy balcony, pool and super beach/sea views. Stone's throw from the beach and the nice Papillon bar and beachside restaurant (one of the best in the area) where guests had a 10 per discount on food. The housekeeping was great and the apartment was kept very clean. Reception staff polite and professional. Walking distance to other beach restaurants and bars and a mini supermarket. Another positive is that the resort is no longer hassling people for timeshare opportunities and invitations from salesmen which is great if you've just paid for a one off holiday and just want to keep to yourself and enjoy yourself!

The main thing - the double bed. A bit small and very hard and uncomfortable - we found it difficult to sleep. Eventually we asked at reception for a mattress topper which improved matters still not perfect.I would recommend asking for a mattress topper. They really should upgrade the mattresses but it appears the opposite may be the case. It also would have been nice to have cushions on the sofas as they're also not very comfortable. (we used spare pillows as cushions instead). Since our last visit we noticed the in house bar under reception (which used to do a happy hour) and Roberto's in house pizza restaurant had been closed.

It felt very exclusive, no huge crowds except for the weekend but even then it was local families so the atmosphere was rather chilled. The sea is shallow so ideal for kids although you can get big, strong waves too and in that case it can be hard to get in even for adults (I love this kind of sea, though). The buildings are literally 100m from the sea with no roads to cross etc, which is fantastic. We are not a pool type of family but the pools there looked great, with many sun lounges. There is a restaurant on the beach which offers a great selection of food at a reasonable price, our food was delicious, the staff super accommodating and the ambience superb, with the beachfront view. The buildings are in top shape, you can tell that maintenance is top priority so although the buildings have the aesthetics of a different decade, everything feels brand new. You can tell that whoever built this complex loved the project and used the best materials out there. We also loved that there's a limited number of units while some of the other hotels/developments in the area had a huge number of rooms and looked crowded and not as well kept. Our unit had two terraces. The one that you access from the dining room has a large outdoor table, sun loungers and a large shade umbrella; this has a beautiful sea view. From this terrace, an external staircase leads to the second terrace, which has multiple Sun loungers for when you need a more private sunbathing session, I believe. This also faces the sea but you will only see it if you stand up and even then I don't think that guests from nearby units would be able to see you. Our unit had 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite), everything was spotless. There is a free parking lot in front of the complex and you can also request for paid parking inside the premises. We used the former. This place is great for excursions to places like Marbella and Málaga, which are interesting, fun cities to visit.

NO RECEPTION!!!!! That was a massive let down. It really needs a 24 hour reception. My sister left her key inside the room one night, so everyone in her apartment had to stay with me over night because there was no one there to give them another key or let them in. Thankfully I was next door! What would happen if you were there without another member of family with another room?? At the cost of this apartment I think a reception is non-negotiable. The excuse they gave was very feeble - COVID restrictions!!!! Think that excuse is about 4 years out of date!!!

We having been coming here every year for a while now. Love the location and quiet. Close enough for trips/evenings out to Marbella..

For the first time we had a couple of issues with the Apartment.. if you put the hob on it tripped the electric and turned off the air conditioning! Had to have maintenance round on numerous occasions to sort for us. In addition the lift was out of order for the whole week and only repaired in time to bring our suitcases down for journey home.

Spacious apartment. Well equipped. I especially appreciated the washing machine.

The decor and finishes are dated. The apartment is damp. The water heater leaked. We informed the front desk and they sent a maintenance man around. He drained it but didn't fix it. Our stay might have been more comfortable if we had a dehumidifier.The tile floor was slick when wet. Should have asked for a rubber tub mat. The terrace for 1 bedroom apt don't offer much sunlight hours and you can't see out to the Med. That was a bit disappointing. Didn't really get that from the pics.

Secure apartment & pool. Loved the location, being so close to the beach & Le Papillon restaurant which was fabulous & close to 2 smallish supermarkets (everything that you need). Lots of other good places to eat nearby & walking along the beach. Recommend visiting the old town.

We did not realise that although the apartment is fully equipped (bedding, bathroom towels, cutlery & crockery etc) that we needed to bring/buy everything else > beach/pool towels - washing up liquid. Our mistake - maybe needs to be clearer but maybe I didn't read the info properly. I can't say that I didn't like this as was not a problem - I just didn't realise.

The pool area is fabulous and well maintained. With uber now easily accessible, no need for rental care - a quick 10 minute uber into the old town Marbella is brilliant

The garden maintenance team are brilliant and thorough, but mowing and trimming the pool area and grass every morning at 9:00 is too much. Please have workers who do it faster or only every second/third day!

Loved the location to the sea. Only downside was it was a bit far away from larger amenities but the local ones were great.

I stayed in 510 which was great apartment but, and it’s a big but, the people who stayed above us were very noisy!!! Their noise started in the very early hours of the morning, around 5am until about 9.30am. I should have alerted reception but didn’t. Don’t know what they were doing at that time but boy were they noisy!!! Another little niggle was that there is no 24 hour reception. Next time I’m booking the 3 bedroom penthouse so no one is above us. Overall though I loved the place!!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable. Pool area was lovely.

The resort was a bit far away from everything, but it was easy to get uber and taxis. We did have an issue with ants in the apartment.

sun lounges at the swimming pool were old and used. I think it is a time to replace them. Also it would be nice if there were sun lounges on the balconies.
