We thought the staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The cleaning service was excellent and we had lots of fresh towels. Excellent pool area with bar drinks and food available all day. Room large and bright with minimal design so easy to find your things. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice.

The TV was only available in Spanish and channels were limited. The evening buffet was a bit disappointing plus it was very expensive. A sign for the hotel where you turn off the A7 motorway would have been helpful.

The hotel exceeded expectations, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, the location is excellent. Separately, I would like to mention the amazing breakfast. We will definitely come back.

The staff are amazing and the level lounge access is a great touch to the stay for the complimentary drinks and snacks available all day.

The facilities of the hotel were excellent, staff friendly, accommodation staff extremely efficient. The breakfast was always fresh and plentiful. The surroundings of the hotel is well kept by the gardeners whom we met everyday. Ritual toiletries - nice touch. The location was perfect for us, just a few steps from the Golden Mile, very safe area even at night.

Soundproofing is an issue. The corridor noise was always present. 8am drinks trolley passing your room - no need for alarm. But it is a holiday, so a sleep in would have been great. We didn't need fresh linen every day of our stay, we are a bit more conscious about the environment and always stay in hotels that promote sustainability. We like when a hotel reward the guest if they are not needing service and not wasting towels, etc. Hotel gym this size could use a few proper yoga mats...2 really poor ones not really matching the fit out.

Friendly efficient staff, always cheerful in their work even though it’s very hard work. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and a good sized room. Food was excellent. Great location for beach and walks.

Mainly I didn’t like the dining room, it was small for the amount of people and very noisy!! The chairs were uncomfortably and many tables were wobbly. The bar area was also small and the seats were uncomfortable, apart from the sofas. The terrace seats were also very hard to sit on. There was a lovely grand piano but it was locked and nobody ever came to play it - what a shame!

Excellent location close to beach and shopping. Extremely friendly and happy staff. Lovely light room with a great view. I expected the property to be dated and a little old fashioned but the overall feeling of the hotel was positive.

As the hotel will soon be under complete renovation I need not comment on the outdated decor. There was nothing I didn't like. I would simply stress that a sea view superior level room should have basics like coffee cups and water for the guests as standard. We had to call reception for cups and buy our own water.

We hada room looking over the Pool. It was lovely. It was spacious and lovely bedding. We enjoyed the space, the decor, the breakfast. All the Bar stuff & Restaurant stuff are so friendly and professional. When we arrived The door man offered to carry our bags and park the car but we didn't really need it. Free parking outside. When you go out the back gate you are on the Paseo Maritimo by Banus Beach. It's only 10 minutes to Port Banus on foot - Great location. One girl at the Reception called Teresa I think, is very helpful, very kind, very welcoming. . Helps you feel welcome.

It's one of the older Melia Hotels but it still is very well kept. The toilet seat was moving in the toilets. The Receptionist who received us was not at all friendly. She doesn't smile so my husband said to me... "Oh I don't feel we are 'Welcome here. So we never asked her any questions again in 2-days. We asked Teresa or the men. We were worried that we were rot welcome so we steered clear of that Lady with glasses and long dark hair. Maybe she is always serious and doesn't smile. Otherwise 2 lovely days there

I was so impressed with everything! The staff were SO friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious. Nice to have Rituals everywhere. The hotel smelt amazing as soon as we stepped in, I felt relaxed. The housekeeping was excellent; refilling water bottles, little chocolates, new towels. I just wish I had cash on me to tip everyone because they deserved it! Outdoor pools etc were closed because its low season, but I preferred it being quieter and there was an indoor pool and gym/ Spa where I had a massage.

I cannot fault it! The only thing is that the smarter restaurant wasn't open, but probably because it was low season.

Everything! Room service, bar, restaurant, staff, pools, proximity to the beach, level benefits and rooms with direct access to the pools, level space with orange trees, porter, on property parking, gourmet breakfast at Level. Pretty much everything, definitely the ideal hotel! Kid friendly Surely coming back and recommending to friends and family!

Would love to have the rooms with jacuzzi made available for families with younger kids.

Stayed here in 2016 and came back as loved the first time. Sad to see that their larger pool that was in the sun is no longer there but it has been replaced with more sun beds and a smaller adult only pool. Loved the area and it’s close to the beach.

We were put in a room that was by the lifts and unfortunately it was very noisy, we were kindly moved to a room that was a lot better and had lovely view of the pool. Reception was very helpful in that instance.
