Our hosts were the loveliest and warmest people ever, they were always thoughtful towards our needs and willing to help us out. They offered us suggestions of places to go, restaurants to eat at, and even helped us warm up some of the food we bought at mercadona and packed it nicely for us to bring to the beach. Chats with our hosts were so enjoyable despite the slight language barrier. They also have a cute geriatric dog whom we loved to give pats and cuddles to, made coming back to the hotel each day a treat. The hotel was also well furbished and very aesthetic all around, and even came with amenities like a beach bag with towels and an ice box. We can tell how much effort our hosts put into making the space into a comfortable and unique one for their guests. Breakfast was a great spread!

Excellent customer service. Lovely quiet location. Breakfast was very good with a great choice of fresh fruit, pastries, home made cakes, good bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee. Also nice to have was the loan of beach towels and beach umbrella. Nice touch and much appreciated. In the room fresh drinking water was supplied every day free of charge. Again, very much appreciated. The building is beautiful, an old townhouse that was once an apothecary's, and it has been very sympathetically refurbished.

Though parking away from the hotel was easy to find, the initial approach to the hotel was confusing for Google maps and we found it difficult to negotiate the very narrow streets and one way system by car. More help would be welcome with suggestions for where to unload the car. The room was very very small, that was disappointing, unpacking meant that almost all the floor space was taken. I would advise anyone not to go for room 3. It's only big enough for a single bed.

I loved everything about this quaint stylish hotel. The room is so beautifully appointed. Beautiful sheets. The breakfast was magnificent and just had a heart of gold. I love staying in a small town full of history and with lots of local people. Yet the bus stop is a 10 min walk away…and the bus service to the rest of the island is well serviced. Son bou beach is a 15 min bus trip. Restaurant and cafes are plentiful. Also supermarkets and fruit/veg stores. This hotel is a must stay.

EVERYTHING. Hosts were incredibly kind and caring, ensuring that every guest had the best experience possible. My heart feels so warm just thinking about this wonderful host family! Breakfast options were superb, the room and bed were extremely comfortable, and the interior design was impeccable with thoughtful details throughout. The staff at the hotel is incredible. Johanna is an exceptional person, very helpful and extremely kind. If you are looking for a homely atmosphere (you want to get to know her family, including the animals) and to be wrapped up in her care, I recommend this place to you. I recommend you the attic room with the bathtub in the middle of the room, which adds an amazing charm. In summer, I suppose the other room (with a terrace) would also be beautiful. Of course you also have a shower in the bathroom. You won't lack anything at the hotel, you can ask Johanna for everything. If you are travelling by car, please keep in mind that the Hotel is in the centre of the old town, there are plenty of parking spaces in the area, but they require about a 10 minute walk to the Hotel(uphill, hihi). Of course this is not a hassle but keep it in mind. There is a great selection of yummies for breakfast, I would recommend you local products such as yoghurt or cheese from Menorca. In the summer you will have a portable fridge available, which is very practical and nice. The rooms have very well functioning air conditioning and heating, which is a surprise in a house of this type (a restored old townhouse). In summary: definitely recommended if you are a traveller looking for sophisticated and original places. Ps. The whole of Menorca is unique! The people are friendly and very helpful, they smile at you all the time, greet you and you can generally sense the strongly Spanish atmosphere of the island. Remember, however, that it is a small island and if you don't want to spend your days only on the beach, 3 days are definitely enough to explore the whole island (Everywhere is very close :). Well worth it!

We loved the central location of Alaior and the town itself was very charming and not touristy at all, with good restaurants to come back to after a day of exploring. The hotel was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. And mostly, our innkeeper hosts were warm and helpful!

The owners are amazing, a young couple who have daringly ploughed their lives into making this old building in a pretty part of an inland Minorcan town into a very tasteful chic boutique hotel. Modern but retaining many original features of the old house. Decor is subtle / yet-contemporary but works with the original features. We found it by accident. So pleased we did. Cautiously we booked the basic room which was a bargain and perfect for our short stay, great bed, walk-in shower and a bargain off peak. The owners are lovely people. We looked at the larger rooms / suite there are only 6 bedrooms in total, they are superb, next time we would spring the extra few €, which wasn’t much but book early as they will be gone. There is a small Tapas bar 50m from the hotel in a small square. We were staying there during a Saints day and the square was busy that weekend with locals, dancing, food and drinks. if you are looking for somewhere authentic in or out of peak season in Minorca look no further. It’s central. The old town is very pretty in the the centre of the island by car most places are 30 mins max many less. Mahon / airport 17 mins. Citudella 30 mins.

Can’t think of anything. It is worth mentioning that there is no parking in the old town close to the hotel. It didn’t bother us there is parking a short walk away but it is up cobbled streets to the old town and hotel. If you have restricted mobility you need to be aware. The fact it is car free through narrow streets has its benefits, no traffic no noise.

Really comfortable beds , great breakfast , good location ( 15 minutes by taxi to airport) . Lovely quality bathroom products .

There was no key for the bedroom door only a code key on the handle.. definitely need your glasses to open it

This hotel in Alaior is perfectly situated to explore the east side of the island, like Es Grau and Cala en Porter. The bed and pillows were of top quality and comfort. The owners of the hotel are so friendly and accommodated our late check in due to some car troubles, not to mention they have an adorable, sleepy dog to greet you at the hotel :)

Parking is 5 min away and requires an uphill walk to the hotel, something to keep in mind for people who are less mobile. The restroom in the hotel room is the kind without a door, which would have been appreciated for more privacy.

We had a lovely room with a terrace which was well layered out and everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of food. We were very well looked after by the owners with help on things to do, on the island and bike hire. We would not hesitate to stay again at the hotel.
