Great pool and kids’ water play area - Spacious room with a well-equipped kitchenette - Terrace right outside the room - Effective air conditioning - Breakfast was fine, though the coffee machine could be better, coffee wasn't tasty

- Pool only opened at 11 a.m. - Parking spots near the hotel wasn’t always available in the evenings - Dinner selection was quite limited, but we were offered the option to have dinner at a neighboring hotel of the same chain. - On arrival, there was some dirt in the shower and hair on the bed, but reception sorted it out quickly

We upgraded to a larger “bungalow “ type accommodation with separate bathroom and living area. It was equipped with a small kitchen with basic utensils and cutlery- including a corkscrew. Bed was a pair of twins pushed together- very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and held. Food on half board basis very good Great pool.

The air conditioning wasn’t switched on (centrally). Turned out that it was rarely needed Area was very quiet with little to do and about 1km from sleepy village and shops.

The location was good. The pool area was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the kitchenette area, we had breakfast on our balcony overlooking the sea every morning. Beds were comfy. The pool bar drinks prices were very reasonable. It wasn't too busy around either, we found it very peaceful.

The first evening we checked in we were "upgraded" to something we didn't book, we went from an apartment with sea view to a bungalow right next to the kids club and pool, we were not impressed and a bit frustrated that this was being worded to us as an upgrade, as a young couple with no kids this was the last thing we wanted. I can imagine if you had kids it would have been ideal as you could watch them play there from your patio/garden area. However this was sorted the very next day when the manager came on duty, but it did start our holiday off on the wrong foot. However, they more than made up for it the rest of the time, and we would stay here again.

the room didnt smell fresh, it was on the ground floor and during the night it was cold. also they couldnt serve us coffee before 11 if we didnt have the breakfast booked which is shocking

Nice stay! Good location on cliffs right next to the water. Easy to get anywhere on the island with a car, and there's plenty of street parking (when the parking lot is full). Breakfast was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. We didn't check out the pool or any other facilities like the spa, but everything looked nice. It's nice also that they provide beach towels! Would recommend.

The decor seemed a little dated with minimal decorative touches.

The hotel complex is spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was great for the children without it being too busy and overwhelming with children’s activities. There is a kids club where they can do arts and crafts from 3pm and a very small mini disco. It was a lovely holiday for our family of 4 with children aged 7 and 1.

If anything the meals were very much the same thing every evening we were there for 5 nights wouldn’t want the same for more days

I could find no fault at all with this hotel. The accommodation was exactly as described, the complex was extremely well cared for. The pool and children's facilities were excellent and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately the Resort is very isolated and has very little in the way of shops or restaurants. The hotel do provide a courtesy bus to some places and into Mahon where you can catch a local bus to every part of the island. The buses are excellent and run to time.

We went self catering… 2 years later than originally booked. The cost was double than when originally booked which was a little disappointing. Taken over by Alua Sun. staff were fabulous and friendly. A couple of niggles in the room…. Toaster broke, only one plug in the kitchen for kettle toaster and microwave. This is our second visit and we will definitely go back next year as long as the price doesn’t double again!

Apart from a couple of niggles shown above there were no negatives
