This beautiful hotel in a wonderful Menorcan town far exceeded our expectations. Without exception all the staff were wonderful and could not be more helpful. We would not hesitate for one second to either return or recommend. The location had everything. Great restaurants and bars, delightful people and super relaxing. We travelled with friends and no one could find any points where the standards slipped. Probably the best ‘boutique’ hotel we have stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble. Tomeau is a star!

We genuinely thought nothing could be done better. It was a delight from start to finish.

We loved the attention to detail of S'Antiga and the kindness of the owners who prepare with great care a delicious breakfast. We had a great spacious room, quiet, bright and the bed was very confortable, the aircon was efficient and silent, our balcony charming. The cleaning lady also took great care of our room. The hotel is very quiet, located in a small village in the center of the island with some good restaurants walking distance. It was ideal to explore Minorca!

The bathroom is open in the bedroom, but it was not a problem for us.

Hotel S'Antiga was an absolute gem, nestled on a local street in a lovely little town, the second we walked in we felt at home, beautifully decorated, homely, the rooms are a great size, they are spotlessly clean, all the staff are just wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with all the local delicacies. The courtyard became our fave spot for morning coffee.

Good communication before arrival. Friendly welcome. Really good breakfast. Room was excellent. Plunge pool was refreshing after a day of walking. Es Mercadal in central location for the island. Hotel near centre of town, but not noisy. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Hotel 250m from large free carpark.

Hotel is to renovated to a very high standard and its interiors are very well designed. Bedroom was a relaxed space to spend time and had all the amenities you could wish for. The staff were friendly and helpful .Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of options. The Hotel is on a road with no parking so you have to drop off bags quickly but the staff assist in unloading. Parking is a 2/3 min walk away. Town centre and Restaurants are 50m away .

Lovely hotel nestled right in the lovely Mercadal. Great location, great vibe and the perfect place to base as easy access to all sides of the island/ beaches etc. the staff were all lovely and they turned down the room each day. Breakfast was great too, nice selection of fruit and pastries as well as eggs upon request - and great coffee! Really really loved our stay there and would recommend to anyone.

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Starting with the aesthetics, the hotel is spectacular, the rooms are super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners are the sweetest couple and are in the hotel every day for breakfast. Tomei, at the reception is so kind and have the best tips. The location of the hotel is amazing as everything is 20-30 minutes away. Honestly nothing bad to say and is worth every penny.

From the start they were communicative and helpful. The owner Tomeu came out to meet us at our taxi and his whole staff were just so helpful the whole time - from bus schedules to ensuring a lovely breakfast. Best included breakfast have maybe ever had in any boutique hotel I can think of. And the hotel itself is beautifully, tastefully decorated, tranquil with even our room -technically a smaller one - a great size and wonderfully designed. Air con worked very well, elegant shower and modern everything. Es Mercadel was an ideal town even for us without a car as the buses are infrequent yet reliable and the town itself has great bakeries, shops and perfect town square for some food or drink, and nice restaurants. Not too touristy yet ok if you are they are very friendly. If you do rent/hire a car, it is perfectly located to get to a number of north or south beaches and coastal spots in about 20 minutes. But the hotel itself is easily one of the nicest we have stayed at for this (v reasonable ) price; I say this as a couple that can be pretty particular and like to get good value for money. This was our 'babymoon' and it ticked all the boxes. All Pool was small but lovely, just not hot enough to use so we had drinks out there at night. Thanks to Tomeu and his staff.

It was all great! Recommend. Go stay. (Some very particular guests may prefer a lift/elevator but I am 7 months pregnant and it was fine as it is only 2 stories, and they take your bags up)
