This was our second visit to the Piedra de Luna. We stopped in Mérida on our trip across Spain (both directions). We returned because the hotel is very nice, clean, modern, and an excellent value. We were pleasantly surprised this time with a very large room, with a huge entryway/dressing area, and bathroom. The facilities are very modern and the decor is very pretty. There were two bottles of water and a bag of candy waiting for us by the bed. The hotel was a five minute walk from the parking garage. The historic Roman ruins are not far and the downtown area with eateries, bars, restaurants, etc., is within walking distance as well.

There was only at the end a little something… we had check out and a minute later we ask for a bathroom to clean our hands (we had cleaned something in the car) and the person at the reception did not let us in or provided a bathroom. We thought that to be very rude, considering we had just left. Otherwise it was very good

Looks like a brand new hotel with easy access to the property without the need of check in. The room and bathroom were very clean

I asked for an iron at reception and they didn't have any so suggestion for the hotel: Buy an iron and probably and ironing board to keep at reception in case some guests need to iron something. It's a good plus and won't cost much for you to have.

The woman who greeted us was very nice. The room was very clean. The bed felt a bit small with hard pillows. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Good hot shower, great location, very safe and comfortable overall. Nice private patio area. Lovely short term stay.

Loved our stay here. Rooms were very well appointed, shower was nice, and they had everything you need. Good wifi as well, and our check-in and out went very smoothly. Great location, and easy walk to the Roman ruins which were amazing (and the reason for our visit). I liked that the big window (room 1) opened two ways for air with privacy. Street parking nearby was easy to find.

Clean, spacious, very good communication and easy y access

It was quite walk into town, and uphill back. Plus as there was nowhere close by for coffee in the morning, the lack if tea/coffee facilities in the room was very noticeable.

Piedra de Luna is a very cozy place. It has comfortable rooms, it is quiet, the cleanliness is outstanding and the location is fabulous. It is just 3 mins away from the center and the staff is very helpful and attentive. I had something to be delivered to my room and they follow up on that and made sure I had it in my room upon my arrival. On my checkout day I left some personal items behind and they immediately contacted to see how to see how they could help me to get them back. The overall experience exceeded all my expectations and definitely Piedra de Luna is a place I would come back on my next visit to Mérida.

The room was perfect for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (10 & 12 yo). Very clean and everything seemed new Localization was also good

Didn't have parking which can be a problem if you arrive late. Didn't have breakfast either, but not a problem as it was a coffeeshop near by

Communication with the host was excellent so we had access codes for accommodation and room even though we arrived when no one was there. Room was spacious and great air conditioning.

Wonderful establishment. Completely exceeded my expectations. Clean, beautiful, fun, and a great location. If I’m back in that area, I will surely stay again. Recommend this location to everyone!!
