Location is near the bay and a beach. Meal is available since morning till night (during the lunch hotel offers sandwiches and beverages). During the whole our accommodation we had a dinner (for extra charge) because dishes and service was perfect. We had a room with a bay view, it’s also cool. Hotel provides free parking at the nearest quarter (5 minutes be feet). Our child was very happy to meet gifts and decorated room on his birthday. Thank to the hotel staff, we are really grateful. Breakfast is good, even cava is included.

Furniture and interior in rooms should be renovated (in our opinion). I would add boiled eggs for breakfast (our child got used to have it, but there was no).

Well built and sound-proofed, spacious with good cafe and restaurant. Pleasant view of sea inlet from balcony, which was very small. Excellent breakfast.

On our second visit we again encountered noisy family celebrations leading to great difficulty in accessing the hotel entrance with baggage from car. Received very cold welcome from Reception staff when we eventually managed to reach them. Throughout our stay, we always had difficulty in car parking. No secure car parking whatsoever, all open to public, and at best, only along public highway fronting the beach. The hotel’s only car park is 500 yards away, out of sight, with additional setback of being on a very lengthy suburban one-way system. Inadequate signage to find the hotel which is located amongst suburban dwellings. We would not return for a third time.

Great, quiet location on the beach - though we were there in the quiet season. Not far from Santander so easy journey to the ferry port. Good value for money. Lots of free parking when we were there - though in the summer you'd need the hotel parking which is a bit of a walk. Room overlooking the breach was great. Lovely staff - especially on reception.

Hotel in its quiet season does host school groups and groups of young people. Bit noisy in the early evening in the reception and on the terrace but no sound from them at night.

Problem with continual dog barking from neighbouring property. Unable to take siesta or sit on balcony and enjoy the sea view. Lack of alternative restaurants in the area. The food at hotel was good but a little expensive.

Lovely staff. Food in the a la carte restaurant was of a very high standard. Rooms are big and the whole place is very clean. The location is amazing.

Barking dog from nearby neighbour was extremely annoying. Would bark for hours. Breakfast buffet could offer more variety.

Have always paid for our accommodation at the hotel in the past, however this time they took the payment from my credit card prior to arrival, which incurs a foreign exchange charge, which we would prefer not to have. The waiters in the coffee bar could not speak very much English, it was even difficult to obtain a English menu from them, which they do have !!! The breakfast was not up to the standard we have had in the past, the hot food was left uncovered, and consequently was not hot. Selection was not as varied as usual. All looked very sparse. Evening meal was good, but no accompanying veg or potatoes with the fish or meat.

I have been using this hotel for over ten years. It’s situated 18km from Santander making a great stop if you arriving late on the ferry from Portsmouth or departing early or mid afternoon on the return journey. The rooms overlooking the bay are worth the extra money. The restaurant serves wonderful Hake and Monk fish. Wines reasonably prices. Friendly staff.

The room was large and confortable and right next to the beach. The restaurant is good (but a little expensive). The hotel offers everyday lemonade and apples (and some candies as well!). The hotel also offers discounts for different activities around Mogro

The bathroom had sometimes a bad smell. I though there was a swimming pool but it is the pool of the spa (smaller than what I thought) and you have to reserve it at the front desk (and wear a bathing cap). I didn't try it with my family (because I didn´t have time)

Excellent choice close to Santander. Restaurant was great and there is a snack bar with food available all day. Good service from the waiting staff both outside and at tables inside. Choice to eat informally or in main restaurant, both the same meu and fantastic food - the special menu included things we wouldn't have tried otherwise and was really good. Parking was no problem, always plenty of room outside so you don't need to go around to the car park which is about one street away. Area is very residential and feels safe and secure. Brilliant access to beach with enclosed lagood for safe swimming. Lift to rooms, everywhere clean including good pool/spa area. Really good management and team work hard with a smile - brilliant!

There was a wedding on but there was very little noise so no issues at all!

Rooms were very nice and we took advantage of the spa. We eat there in the evening as there aren’t many places to choose from in the area. And we all enjoyed the meal.

Breakfast was poor. And the cooked food was Cold. There was one particular bar man who should not be in the service industry. He was so grumpy. When I mentioned it to the other staff they commented he always is. I’m sure you’ll know who I mean.
