This is a great option for a luxury stop for a weary pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago. It's just off the Camino, and has a spa to help restore sore muscles. Staff is very friendly and will go the extra mile to help with any requests within their power to fulfil. The price is affordable, I doubt that you will find a better property in the Santander area for this price.
There aren't many options for eating in the area, and the kitchen doesn't open on weekends. They do have a few options for snacks on the weekend so you won't starve. I think that the pool could probably do with fewer chemicals.

Comfortable & clean.
San Míllan is not within walking distance of the city centre, so taking a taxi is something to consider if you do not have transport & intend to return late. A bus fare from the town centre (line 3) will cost you €1.10. I returned from Bilbao & the bus didn’t arrive until after 23:00. According to the lady in the tourist information office, the local buses run until 01:25. However, I didn’t see any at all so took a taxi (€10.48 excluding tip). Food in the restaurant is reasonably priced, but not great quality.

We have stayed here before and it has clean, spacious rooms and parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. The views are amazing if you get a room at the front of the hotel looking out over Santander. It is a fair walk to the city centre and uphill on the way back, so if you don't like to, or can't walk a long distance a taxi is advisable. There is a large Carrefour shopping mall about a kilometre away and a Lidl. We use the hotel as a stopover before catching the ferry. We did think about getting accomodation closer to the centre but like it here so much we decided the long walk was worth it and as a bonus, it is also very quiet.
There is nothing negative we can think of. For us it ticked all the boxes.

The staff are all very pleasant and some of them speak really good english, which helps if you have a problem. We have never bothered with the breakfast, but the small bar does coffee and snacks.
There is a small downside and that is that you can hear the noise from the gym, most of the time its not too bad, but on the odd occasion there is very loud music. Although there is a fairly good sized car par, parking can be a problem at times when the gym is busy.

It's effectively a gym with rooms (which was good for me, as was a mini reset for body and the mind!) Would definitely stay again
Gosh, the keys all have metal tags and the floor is marble / soapstone and the doors all have gaps around them- so its incredibly loud at night as people noisily walk the corridors at 2am. A note to pop some white noise on your phone during the night - it is not a quiet hotel!

Excellent room, clean and tidy. Fantastic view across the city. Free parking available. Cooked and/or continental breakfasts. available for 10Euros. Exceeds its 3 star rating. Would stay again. Did not use the spa or gymnasium that were part of the hotel, but access not included in hotel room rate.
Room would benefit from AC, as it was period of very hot weather when we stayed there

Reception: Very helpful receptionist who did everything she could to make us feel very welcome. Large reception area, with small bar and outside seating area. Accommodation: Large spacious rooms, T.V. comfortable beds with fresh clean linen. Cleaning, rooms were immaculate. Great views over Santander. Breakfast: Mixture of continental and cooked which was an extra payment of 5 or 10 euros depending on who had what. Very good. Spa and 2 whole floors dedicated to a gym. Parking: Large carpark right at door of hotel. Travel: Bus a five-minute walk away. Cultural Experience: Caves of Altamira
No evening meals provided. The use of the SPA is not included in the room price. You have to purchased a swim cap and flip flops in order to use the SPA (unless you know this in advance)

I'm travelling with my dog quite long time and it's rare hotel which provides a personal bed and plates for my dog nevertheless all the hotels take additional payment for dog staying. Also here you can find spacious and free parking and great and speaking English staff. Big room and huge bathroom. I recommend this place.

Staff are very easy and comunicative, The position is strategic to go to Santander's city center and there is always parking. You can use the gymnasium for free and the SPA is only 10 euros extra to get in (I have not tried them). Beds are comfy and the space is the room is bigger than normal.
I've found strange that the second night which we booked directly at the hotel was a lot cheaper that the one from booking (85 vs 99) so I wounder why via booking it's more expensive. MAybe it's because we've got a triple bedroom even if we booked a double, (I don't know!) The quality of the diner in the hotel is poor and you can't change a comma from the menu as I wanted to have a simple salad instead of the 2 offered plates that I didn't like and they said no :-(

We were allowed to keep our cat in the room, which was a good size with comfortable chairs. The restaurant menu is super-value, although this last visit it was reduced a bit since we hadn't booked ahead and were actually given a table after closing time. The food is basic but very well-cooked. It's nice to eat out on the terrace and a wee gazebo, down steps, is ideal for windy or wet evenings.
The only thing I don't like, which we did know in advance, is that there is no cooked menu at weekends, due to functions, spa or something like that. There is still food, but very limited. For this reason, we will only book this hotel, before the ferry, if we will be there during the week.
