This is a small boutique hotel located near the old town part of the bustling port city of Santander. Our hotel room was completely renovated with a spotlessly clean bathroom and comfortable beds. The breakfast offered many choices with a wide variety of cereals, breads, rolls, pastries, juices, coffee, teas, eggs, meats and cheeses. The hotel reception staff were very accommodating and gracious. This area of Santander is hilly, so one is walking up and down the streets. The City has installed people mover escalators and elevators from near where our hotel was located to transport people up the street hills to the old town area which has many restaurants, outdoors cafes and shops. The hotel included a parking garage; however, we were able to park our vehicle under the cover near the hotel entrance area securely watched by their 24-hour reception staff.

A terrific little hotel. Spotless, everything functional, a really solid 3 star - I only had a Budget Room. A good simple, breakfast - I would normally not bother, but previous reviews recommended. It was worth it, not down to anything fancy, just everything there to get you going. All staff are super friendly, and seemingly plugged into the overall management of the place. House keeping, breakfast, and front desk are all exceptional. Reserved parking was excellent - I arrived early and was given a spot, checked in at the correct time later. , Location was great for Santander I booked early, and the price was excellent

I would have liked a minifridge. It was not listed as being provided, so not a complaint.

A really warm welcome from both staff and we were happy to be able to prebook free private off road parking for our car and bikes. The room offered great views across the city to the sea. The location was quite high up in the heart of the city but getting around was fairly easy when you got the hang of using a street lift and very interesting street escalators to help ascend the steep hills from the sea front. Lots of choice of restaurants nearby. The bed was super comfortable and the buffet breakfast offer was generous. If you are travelling on the ferry to Santander the next day it’s a great choice. About 5 minutes from the ferry port.

There was a fridge but it wasn’t working properly and It would have been nice to have a kettle, tea, coffee and milk instead of a coffee machine.. not everyone drinks coffee……

The staff were wonderful. The room had a great view and there are large balconies with statues looking out to sea. It's a crowded area vehicle wise but staff always found me somewhere to park. The shower was hot and large.

A room fridge would have been great and although there was a coffee pod machine a kettle would have been nice. Coat hooks near the room door would also be welcome. The bed was a little hard for me to be fully comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Wally, who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We were also upgraded as we stayed for 4 nights which was much appreciated as the suite was lovely with great views of the sea.

The aircon was not able to cope with the unusually extremely hot weather. We were on the 5th floor so our room was like a sauna, but the staff provided portable aircon and fans which helped a bit.

Beautiful hotel, very chic. Great views from our room. Very helpful friendly staff and good parking. Breakfast was wonderful with everything you could wish for. The hotel is up a steep hill but the receptionist explained there was a lift and escalators to the main part of town which worked brilliantly. Great location only minutes walk to the harbour with bars cafes and restaurants. Goid for shopping too. Would highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

No fridge in room, not a huge problem but always nice to have for my medicine and cold drinks.

The hotel location is perfect, as very close to the center, where are Center Botin, the restaurants, the shops (all this between 4-10' walk). It also good place for people with car, as has a parking free of charge, and the exit from the city is easy. The staff is great! All of them are very helpful. When I arrived it was a man who was at the reception. He gave me all details and advises on when, how, where to go and visit. He was great! I decided to stay more, so had the chance to have two different rooms. The one on the 1st floor, as it rained a bit more during my stay, it needed always I to open the window, as it smelled a bit of humidity. The one on the 3rd floor was great with amazing views to the town and the see, especially when there is a sun. So, I'll definitely come back! Thank you!

Nothing. Just I need much harder bed. So, the bed is very comfortable, but is not extremely hard. Important for people who look for different softness. It is perfect for normal requirements.

Comfy room but no view from the windows this time as more towards the rear of the hotel. The room was clean and well presented. The man on reception whose name I unfortunately do not know was very attentive. He has been there a number of years and always goes out of his way to be helpful. Although I don't know his name he originates from Morocco and is a real credit to this hotel.

The view from the room was just a concrete wall but other than the everything was good.

Lovely staff, very welcoming and spoke really good English. The garage for the motorcycle was excellent and secure. The room was arty as one would expect, clean and comfortable, and had a good view of the sea. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Location is perfect for the sea front with a lift and escalators just across the road. Location is also only 5 mins away from the ferry port. We were allowed to leave our bike in the garage until the ferry was due.

The hotel was less than ten mins walk from the centre, in a residential area. Really helpful staff, clean and spacious hotel, good breakfast. They were also good with bicycle storage... a locked room just off the lobby. Excellent value.

The hotel was built into the hill, so no view (just frosted light) from my first floor room, and no window in the breakfast room either. Slight damp smell but it was immaculately clean and well decorated.
