Lovely hostel!! My flight into Santander was delayed and the woman who runs the hostel kindly waited longer for me to check in. The facilities were great and were kept very clean and tidy.

Great central location. Great facilities, all fresh and clean. The owners are really nice and helpful. Super comfortable. Well equipped. Loved it. It was recommended to me and I can see why.

This is a small hostel located in the city but most importantly away from the actual noise and non stop Spanish evenings and entertainment but still very close walking distance to them. It is also close to many restaurants and shops. The place is clean and some rooms are like a hotel room with ensuite. The place was quiet, rooms small but clean. The common areas have a kitchen and there is free coffee dispensing machine which gives a great coffee! The owner is really nice and welcoming. I recommend!

Everything was fine maybe the shower was quite small but that doesn't matter

i had a wonderful stay here. Beatrix was so kind and helped me with my Spanish. Everything was perfectly clean! Big lockers. Plenty of hooks to hang towels and clothes. The kitchen was very well equipped. I found the beds really comfortable. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. I walked everywhere, Santander is very walkable and the hostel’s location was pretty central. 10 min walk from bus stop (I got the bus from airport).

The beds were quite wobbly. It wasn’t the most social hostel I have found (lots of tired walkers from the camino), however if you wanted to speak to people you could, and if you wanted alone time that was also very easy. Good balance.

I really liked everything about this hostel. I booked a private room and it was the most comfortable room I’ve stayed in at this price point. It is very well located, only a few minutes walk from the bus station. Check-in was smooth and Beatriz was amazing. She gave me some great information of what to see and do in the city. The hostel is renovated and everything looks brand new and is super clean. The kitchen and dining area are both comfortable and there is free coffee and tea. If I return to Santander I’ll definitely stay at Alojiamentos Cantiber. A big thank you to the staff who were all super kind!

Everything was perfect!

Very clean, great facilities, new, full kitchen with kettle and everything else, coffee machine (free for the guests) that makes very nice coffee.

The lack of a hand towel or paper towels in the toilets was a little stingy. I get it, we have to rent towels if we don't bring ours but having to take my towel to the sink every time I wash my hands... well, I forgot every time because it isn't something I do on a regular basis! Paper towels at least would be appropriate.

Everything. Good location for the bus station, Cathedral, Centro Botín and a walk along the Promenade. Plenty of shops, bars and a Carrefour Supermarket close by. Cantiber is owned and run by a very conscientious helpful gentleman who also does the work himself. It shows. The place is clean, very well thought out and was a great place to stay. There is a kitchen for use by guests. Many guests are walking the Camino so a very friendly international mixed age set of people. Lovely in every way.

Probably one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - they remembered my name despite the fact I was only staying a few nights and always greeted me while a smile. The hostel was very clean, well run and well equipped with amenities - they even had a coffee machine! As a solo traveller, I felt exceptionally safe and welcomed and the environment was quiet and respectful. They even stored my luggage after check-out.

Everything was great. Very clean, we had the double room with private bathroom and it was big and beautiful. Location in the city centre was excellent, right in a pedestrian street near the bus station. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Very easy system to acces to the Hostel, and it had the basics for having breakfast. Will repeat for sure.

Private bathroom was small but is what we paid for. Street it is in a shopping area right in the city centre, somehow busy, but nothing to worry about. All great, really
