It was a comfortable room, a little small and the staff were extremely helpful. The location near the sea front was ideal. Parking arrangements worked very well with the public car park five minutes away and easy to find!

Breakfast options were a little limited. More variety of cereals and a greater quantity of fruit. The cooked breakfast was not great - the bacon was very fatty and overcooked. It was a little unfortunate that I found a few very small flies around the croissants but I did mention it to staff. I suppose you can’t cover everything! Being quite a trendy hotel we found the light and tap controls a little awkward to understand and use.

We stayed here as a treat during the Camino del Norte in late May 2025. Great location - 10 min walk from the ferry from Somo, close to the food halls, to the Art/Cultural museum. Close to restaurants, shops, bars, waterfront, laundromats, Correos, etc. Located just across the street from a church, and we got to witness 1-st Communion Sunday. We got the room with the round bed (!) and it was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light as it was a corner room with 2 big Juliette-balcony-style windows. No screens on the windows, as seems to be the norm in Europe, but in late May, there weren't many bugs flying in. So many lighting options with various lamps, and a Sonos speaker mounted on the wall to play music via bluetooth. Comfortable bathroom, walk-in shower with half-glass wall to prevent splashes (I'll personally never understand the European showers!), automatic fan in the bathroom. Nice toiletries. Little desk with chair, coffeemaker and cups. Spacious closet with a safe and mini-fridge. Breakfast was good (buffet style) - note that the breakfast is served in a windowless 'room, and has somewhat awkward layout of the food. But overall we're happy with our stay.

Would return in a heartbeat. One of the nicest hotels we stayed in whilst we were travelling this time. Central location, beautiful interiors, friendly and helpful staff.

Great location for the old town. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants with area. Lovely staff, really helpful, arrived early before we could check in and left luggage with reception (did same after checkout as our flight wasn’t until 5pm. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Room was super quiet & clean, in fact the whole hotel was so quiet and very clean. Bed was soooo comfy too. There’s nothing I can say bad about it. My wife and I loved our 3 night stay there. For us it was the perfect place (handy for the beaches, close to food & drink & close to tourist attractions). We got an Uber from Santander airport to Sol Boutique (€11) rather than bus to the bus station (as the bus station is around a 15-20 walk. On one day we did take a bus from the station to Bilbao, that cost around €20 (return) and took 1.5hrs each way.

Location was excellent. A bright clean hotel.

We arrived by car. The hotel has a temporary parking area on the street in front of the hotel entrance for off loading/loading luggage which is really convenient. Reception gave us a map to the nearest car park which is easy to get to. There is a special rate for hotel guests of £15.00 per day. But, this wasn't made clear that you have to pay and get your ticket at reception before collecting your car. We passed the receptionist enough times for her to explain - but that information was never given to us.

Big comfortable beds, quiet air condition, big bathroom, clean room and good location. Also good with a refrigerator.

I’m disappointed on the details. There were no toileteries like cotton pads, etc. There was a combined schampoo and conditioner in the shower that is useless for most women with long hair. The electricity socket in the bathroom was loose. The makeup mirror was not under the light. There was a balcony with two cheap plastic chairs and no table. So It doesn’t really match a four star boutique hotel.

The room was clean and just renovated, breakfast was nice.

The floors and Windows are too thin. I couldn’t sleep all night because the wall next to my bed was basically attached to the lift, also the room above mine had a guest that walked on the wooden floor and made a lot of noise, which made me wake up many times during the night. (I should have called the reception but the phone wasn’t working and forgot to tell the receptionist the day after). Also the parking is not too near to the hotel so make sure to leave your luggage first and then go park the car.

Room spacious bright very clean. Decor was lovely individually done.Good towels shower power really good .When you walk in the hotel it smells amazingly fresh. Staff all spoke English and were young and very pleasant.It is a great location near the escalators if needing help up a hill but in the hub and near the front.. 2 chairs in the room a dresser a balcony it was very comfortable 👌 good fridge space too. Good quality.

Only 1 bedside shelf so I used stool from bathroom for my phone and book to sit on.this was the Nordic nest only negative.

Stunning building in a great location for bars, restaurants and the quayside. We had the Atlántica room with the map on the wall. Very pretty and beautifully clean. This room had its own little summer room and access to a verandah. It was beautiful. The staff were helpful and we left our bags at the beginning and end of our stay.

The air con didn’t work as reviews before had said. Blew out warm air. However, the weather is very mixed in Santander so the room was cool enough with a window open. The shower leaked if you had anything but a brief shower but it was room service every day so it got cleaned up and new towels to replace what I’d laid on the floor. Lovely bathroom though so not uncomfortable. If you only want coffee then it’s a coffee machine but a phaff to make enough water for decent cups of tea.

Gorgeous traditional building, with a beautiful modern interior and some traditional features retained. Each room individually designed. Ours also had a large balcony. Large shower room, very comfortable beds, plenty storage, some toiletries provided, tea, coffee & water. Very clean & bright. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Very helpful, we were able to leave our bags in the morning although check in not till 3pm and leave them again after check out until it was time for our flight home.
