Great location for city near local main market and approx 10 mins walk from bus station. Local bars nearby but main city short walk so plenty of choice for eating. Supermarket 100yrds away. Beach a little further out but lovely park, cathedral and waterside short walk. Spacious room with sofa and a lovely enclosed balcony (not sure all rooms have) with table, small kitchen area with microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Would definitely recommend as simple base, very clean and airy.

Only downside (esp if there when really hot) is no air con, fan available and some windows can be opened.

The rooms are very cute and tastefully decorated. The location is amazing. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond. And everything was super clean and they made up the rooms each day. They also refilled the Nespresso pods which I loved. There's lots of natural light and air. We just left the windows open which was wonderful, the patio is so cozy. We were in the Luana room.

There's quite a bit of traffic noise coming in from the street, and it's very hot at night with no air conditioning. We were able to manage with ear plugs and sleep masks however

This small apartment was creatively decorated. We enjoyed the small enclosed balcony for eating our breakfast. It has a large, well appointed bathroom. The location was good with proximity to supermercados and cafes. The staff was helpful in providing information for taxis, sites, and cafes. Don’t miss a boat ride on the bay and a tour of Palacio de La Magdalena.

Unfortunately, this apartment was noisy for many hours of the night, due to traffic and loud people on the sidewalks. The apartments needs better shading at night due to the traffic red light outside.

I really enjoyed how close it was to the bus station! The staff are very communicative over email and answered all my queries. The room was really amazing, so worth the price and so many amenities! I will definitely stay here again.

My only complaint are the doors. Whatever way I was pulling down on the handle, it would not open after inputting the PIN code. Thankfully, another guest was there to help me! I'm not sure if the handles are sensitive? Apparently I inputted the code correctly, but I just didn't have the right hand to open the door.

Good central location. I was able to store my bag in a locker before check in after contacting the owner and an employee meeting me at the main door. I was even offered an umbrella to borrow as it had started to rain. Messages answered almost immediately, even out of reception hours. Code system an excellent idea. Limon room had everything I needed. Cleaned every day by fantastic cleaning staff. Santander is a beautiful hidden gem and the extensive bus routes make it easy to travel around the city and beaches.

Comfortable, spacious room. Great location - easy to walk to key places in the centre of town. Nice shower with good water pressure.

The temperature controls were limited. No aircon, and the windows round the balcony had signs on them saying not to open. There was a single table fan, which was just about enough when I was there. But in a heatwave, I'm not sure that would cut it.

The pension has been recently refurbished with taste and design is different in every room. Central position, at walking distance from all the main attractions (mercado de la esperanza, cathedral, Cañadio, etc.) and short bike or bus ride to the beach. Friendly staff. Coffee machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and utensils in the room allow you to prepare breakfast or a small meal. Balcony and sofa. Large shower. We felt at ease for 3 nights, but could have stayed longer as the room (industrial style) is very large and comfortable.

Beautiful room in a great location, the balcony was a lovely extra and there was a nice level of atmosphere from outside that could be turned off by closing the balcony door. The decor is amazing, lovely big shower and plenty of storage. The process of getting the codes to the property couldn’t be easier and streamlined the whole process. The kitchen was also well equipped for what I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Gorgeous, spacious apartment located very close to one of the indoor markets. Much bigger than anticipated and beautiful views from window over to church. Would definitely recommend as a base to anyone visiting Santander. In a quieter area but only around 10 minute walk from bus station.

Nothing I can think of really! Property more than met our expectations. Maybe some still bottled water in fridge could have been a nice extra touch but that’s the only thing I can think of!

great location. the room was spacious and stylish. very comfy bed and pillows. good for remote working, there was a table and good wife. loved the little balcony. there was a tiny kitchen with coffee and tea. easy self checkin. huge show, nice towels and nice toiletries. spotlessly clean. great value for money.

noise and lots of light from the street (bring ear plugs and sleep mask of you are a light sleeper). zero privacy in the bathroom (huge glass windows instead if a door).
