The staff here are amazing, super welcoming and attentive to all of the guests. The food at the three different restaurants is by far the best hotel food we've ever had and with so much choice it would be easy to not venture elsewhere! We enjoyed the pool area which has a swim up bar and great lunch and drinks menu on offer.

The gym was a bit small and dated, we still used it every morning but it could do with an upgrade. There wasn't quite enough sun loungers around the pool which meant some guests were sitting on chairs throughout the day.

Staff were very accommodating with an early checkin after a early flight. Very friendly greeting at reception on arrival. Rooms were lovely! Shower was the best we’ve ever had! Didn’t want to get out! Had a lovely view of the golf course. Enjoyed breakfast and meals at the club house were lovely. Again the staff were really friendly. Enjoyed the spa and used the driving range. Just bought an apartment here so look forward so look forward to spending more time at the resort.

Breakfast was particularly good. Excellent choice of foods and all very nicely presented. Staff were lovely and friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the views were spectacular. The staff were all very courteous and friendly and very helpful in getting taxis etc for us.

As a non golfer, it was very far away from the towns. I’m sure they probably provide a bus service but I wasn’t aware of this. Didn’t bother me too much as I was only there two nights. Everything else about the hotel was spot on.

Stunning scenic location, staff just amazing and so helpful, choice of 3 restaurants, superb comfy beds, views from every angle, pool spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast choices, access to lovely Spa. But overall the staff was what made this hotel stand out, so warm, and went out of their way to make our stay special....truly well worth a visit - an experience

Being located in countryside there were bugs who made their presence felt Oat milk not routinely laid out for breakfast Have to get taxi to go down to town and this can add up if you dont have car

Amazing staff and exceptional food make La Cala a hotel we would like to return to year on year. Everything is kept immaculate and it was the perfect couple's getaway. This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. Location and pool both perfect, wonderfully delicious breakfast.

Amazing hotel, we loved every minute of our stay! The whole complex is kept very clean. The staff were great. Our room was spacious and had a huge balcony with the most breathtaking views! The lifeguarded swimming pool is a very good size and the swim up pool bar is always going to be a hit! The grounds are stunning & it’s nice walking to the different restaurants around the complex in the evenings and seeing the golf greens. Breakfasts were perfect. All of the fruits possible, big selection of hot fry up options, pancakes, pastries….. everything you need! Taxi’s are easy to get to head into Mijas or down to the coast. We will be back 100%!!

Exceptional resort with everything you need for a luxury stay, facilities are fantastic, views beautiful, staff so friendly and attentive and food was gorgeous. Tennis courts, brand new paddle board coarts, squash court, gym and 3 fantastic golf courses all with different characteristics. Room was a great size with massive balcony, clean, plenty of storage, full bath and decorated beautifully.. we started our holiday in another hotel but after seeing this when we played Campo America we packed our stuff and moved to La Cala and it turned our holiday into a fantastic experience. I can only thank the staff for making our stay wonderful, they were genuine, helpful and always happy to help or give you information about local places. Top class hotel, lovely staff, great location (if you want something in a beautiful location away from the town) and great golf courses, and the golf course staff were amongst the friendliest I have encountered around thr world...

Top service especially from the people working at the front desks. The manager is always around and knows how to please the customers. Food served at the restaurants also delicious. The golf academy boasts an amazing coach!

We loved everything about the property, well laid out, everything exactly where it should be. Staff were absolutely amazing, food was excellent.

The only slight annoyance was the building work going, but that said, if there’s no work there’s no improvement!

Views were beautiful, lovely big rooms, very comfortable with views across the golf course. We stayed in several hotels during our stay and this was the most spacious and service was excellent.
