The location of this hotel is fantastic to go and explore Mijas. The breakfast choices were brilliant, we didn't try an evening meal here choosing to eat out but did have lunch which I would say could be better. The pool and surrounding area is really lovely. Plenty of sunbeds but limited choice if you want some shade. Receiption staff were really lovely and helpful.

Nothing that really springs to mind, we had a pleasant stay here. The hotel could do with updating, it has real Spanish charm which is lovely but it is a little bit tired.

Double twin beds for a couple, when it was asked queen size bed. We could hear our neighbors very much.

Hotel was clean. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful location easy walk to the square with great restaurants. Bus stop nearby with easy access to surrounding area and beach.

Need to monitor the the sun bed reserving round the pool. There is a notice asking people not to reserve beds with their towels but this doesn’t seem to be enough, on our last day at least half of the beds had towels in with no people in sight.

We very much enjoyed our mini break to Mijas! Flew from East Mids. We got the train (€2) from Malaga airport to Malaga-Maria as we wanted to do the open top bus tour (€25pp), then back on the train in Malaga past the airport, to Fuengerola….. then an Über from Fuengerola train station to the hotel (€12). As we went to Malaga for the day straight off the train, & put our luggage in the “Stow Your Bags” facility around 3 mins walk from the Malaga-Maria train station. It cost €7 for 6hrs. The hotel was super friendly, clean & extremely well positioned. We even got a free upgrade & free tennis. Views from the rooms, breakfast room & bar are just incredible. Breakfast had so so much choice, including, most importantly, lactose free/almond milk & decaf options. We didn’t have dinner here as there were so so many different options around the town. Beach towel rent €15 then you get €14 back. Tennis rackets & balls €10. Late 2pm checkout €10 So cheap to eat & drink in the bars & restaurants. Spoil yourself at Restaurant Meguiñez. All staff were really friendly & chatty. Don’t miss out on the towns sights, but please don’t rent a donkey or horse….. We did the hike up the mountain, of which we did the blue & yellow route. It’s quite slippy as there has a lot of sandy parts, so wear decent shoes with deep tread. We were loosing our footing on the way down. Only negatives…. Two single beds, not a double & hairdryer not great. Fuengerola really wasn’t for us, we took the bus (stop right outside the hotel) for the afternoon, but found safety in the El Puerto Sky Bar with incredible views & a bottle of wine! Go to the Bio Park if anything.

Breakfast; it is a good value but not good quality. It needs more caring. All foods should be labelled (there were pates with no labels; one label for all cheeses), no ibérico ham ( no good quality hams) orange juice needs to be freshly squeezed from a machine - you are in Spain! More Spanish food! They were late in opening the doors in the morning. More effort.

Travelled to Mijas with family, staying for a week at TRH Mijas. The hotel is great, superb location just a short walk to the town centre with lots of restaurants and cultural sites with a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to Fuengirola and the beach in just 20ish minutes. Hotel pool is great with ample sunbeds and decent lunch at the pool bar. Nice and quiet in the evenings, the beds are super comfortable. Mijas is a beautiful place, we will definitely be back.

The breakfast was ok, lots of cold options, hot options could be more varied.

After a horrible experience with an airbnb property where we had to leave urgently, we found this hotel to stay in last minute. The staff were incredible. They were so welcoming and friendly and most importantly made us feel safe. We are so grateful for their approach us when we felt at our most vulnerable. The hotel itself was lovely. The views of the mountains and proximity to the centre of Mijas was fantastic. The pool was lovely and we never had an issue finding a lounger. We booked b&b as preferred to eat in local restaurants, but breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend.

A good old school hotel in the most beautiful village in the entire region. The room was airconed, but on the small size, but had a decent size bed, with decent mattress and pillows. The view was at the entrance of the hotel, so it was quiet. There is a very nice pool area with an amazing view, a snack bar (with good food), and an interior restaurant with a terrace and a magnificent view. The location is just outside the crowded center, and it's a very pleasant walk through the city, the village looks fantastic and climbing to the top will reward you with amazing views. There are multiple restaurants and bars around, also a grocery shop very close to the hotel.

The hotel and furniture look a bit outdated, but they're doing a good job maintaining it. It would have been great to have a refrigerator, also our room didn't have a balcony or patio

A traditional, good value hotel, with friendly staff, and a convenient location in central Mijas Pueblo. There are nice views from the balconies and a lovely swimming pool with a snack bar. Handy to have a bath with shower in the spacious bathroom and also an electric kettle and good TV in the room. Lovely public areas with lots of comfortable places to sit around the hotel. The cleaning is excellent in all areas. The restaurant staff are excellent, very helpful and work extremely efficiently in running the meal times. There is a bus stop at the entrance to the hotel, so easy to get down to central Fuengirola bus and train terminal.

The facilities of the breakfast and dinner options are a bit limited, as there could be a few more healthy cereals, nuts and fish and vegetable dishes available and some of the fruit could be a bit fresher. Also, a comfortable armchair in the bedroom would be nice, thank you.

Great location, friendly staff, very clean, good choice of food at breakfast, car parking brilliant as the hotel were giving a 50% discount, parking was £5 per day and really convenient

The hotel could do with more shaded areas as the hotel was full and couldn’t get a sunbed anywhere in the shade, need more umbrellas . Guests slamming doors rather than trying to close them gently, was woken nearly every morning with room doors being slammed shut
