One of those rare moments where you don't need a common language to see people are decent. I felt so comfortable and at ease with the business family and surroundings I wished to have stayed longer. But I will return. The pilgrims meal was exceptional for the price. Home food. The private room comfortable and spotlessly clean. The best place since St Jean and that includes the 4* Monesterio Condes, because the Moratinos has a relaxed vibe commercialism could not capture. Thank you.

If you are looking for a place in the Camino de Santiago with more facilities or more utilities and care than public Albergues, Hostal Moratinos is a very recommendable option. Reasonable stay between Sahagun and Carrion. Good and friendly service with nice community dinners and great atmosphere.

Really nice room and restaurant has inside and large sunshades outside eating areas. And rooms upstairs had their own laundry lines out on the balcony. Nice touch. Theses made it an enjoyable stay. Here they also seem to have staff shortage issue. Young couple who ran the establishment were very helpful when available but the service was spotty.

Directly on the Camino path! Quite remote location but lovely,very peaceful & quite in the night. stayed in a double room with private bathroom & our own balcony -all good. Restaurant downstairs. The whole place closes up quite early so dont expect eating dinner late in the evening

would have prefered restaurant to stay open a little later so we could have had dinner/a drink.

We spent a very comfortable night here on a road trip from Western to Eastern Spain. Hostal is located in a village on the Camino Route, and we stayed in a very well-appointed, self contained apartment with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very friendly. A very memorable overnight stop.

There were packaged slippers for us to use and the floor in the bathroom was heated. Our host was friendly. Salad was radicchio, lettuce, fresh tomato. Pasta sauce so good! Wine free flowing and easy!

Wonderful stay here. Ana was very helpful when we needed to organise a taxi to get there. Nice garden to sitting and enjoy a wine. Food cooked by hosts was delicious. Then they shuttle you back to the Camino the next morning.

It is a wonderful quiet Albergue/ hostal in the middle of no where. Thank goodness it was there. Clean, staff was great. Food was top notch. Every thing a peregrino or tourist would need.

The evening meal was excellent. Location was great as it was pouring out. My view would have been excellent without the rain. Staff was excellent

My hair dryer did not work. No drinking glass provided in the room.

I’ve stayed here several times and liked it. The new management is just as good, very nice and friendly. And the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. It’s an isolated stretch on the Camino and this hotel/albergue is a lifesaver.
