Simple but clean room and building. Great location with easy walking access to beach, shops, etc.

I always like a washcloth in the bathroom, but it's an American thing... There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the door, so the housekeeper came in while I was there (we didn't speak a common language, but she understood I was there). I do applaud the hotel for providing daily cleaning/housekeeping services, but please give guests the option of letting staff know they do not wish to be disturbed (I had been sick and was in the room resting when the housekeeper wanted to come in).

Perfect location if is really close to everything with only a couple minutes walk to the square, restaurants and bars! 2 minutes walk if that to the top of the street (turn right out of the acomodation) there is a little square with a water fountain where you can have breakfast as well as a super market. The property was extremely clean, cleaned our room daily with fresh towels as well as providing us towels for the beach. It was our first time in Nerja and couldn’t be happier with our stay and the overall place we loved it and will be back! The staff couldn’t do enough for you! Loved our little Spanish street view from our room!

Lovely balcony room with a kettle and fridge. Bed was very comfortable and a good shower.. Location is good, right by the Orange square where you can sit and enjoy breakfast and the bus station. Mercadona is just around the corner. 10 minutes walk to the Balcon and 15 minute walk to Torrecilla Beach.

Would have been nice if tea bags and coffee were provided and the air conditioning is not very good as it’s preset and not cool enough. Note there is no lift so you have to use the stairs.

The staff are very nice, the cleaning ladies were soooo nice and they really did there best because we were 3 girla and we were messy😂 but we came home everyday to a clean room. The airconditioning was perfect and we had a small balcony as well for smoking, the garden was also really nice to stay in it in the night or in the day. The room was comfortable and the bed’s also very comfortable. We stayed for 7 nights and it was amazing.

There was no elevator but the stairs are fine

In a lovely street about 5 minute walk from Nerja bus station and close to a lovely square that has a cafe and seating area. Staff very helpful and room cleaned daily, fresh towels and shower gel, shampoos topped up also. We were at the back with a small balcony overlooking the garden. Room had a kettle, cups and a mini bar to store cold drinks. Sockets next to the bed.

Weather was rainy when we were there and could have done with some coat hooks on the wall when entering to hang wet coats on. Only 4 coat hangers between 2 of us was a struggle. Bit of a makeshift wardrobe and shelving which needed to store everything was a struggle also.

I have stayed a number of times at Abril. I'm usually a solo traveller and am always very well looked after. The proximity to buses is a key factor, but it's an all-round great place. The owners are attentive to needs and really friendly and helpful. Comfortable and stylish too and spotlessly clean. I rarely stay elsewhere.

Nothing. There is no roof terrace but there is a great garden for all to use.

Compact well thought out room, containing everything we needed for a short stay. Light and airy with a balcony and chairs for enjoying the sunshine. Everything very clean. Comfortable bed. Great staff, friendly and helpful with advice about the town. Good location for using the bus to travel to different places in the area. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend.

Spotless clean. Missed a roof terrace thought there was one in picture when booking. Staff were so lovely. Very near restaurants.

The stairs as no lift. Both of us haven't got great knees and up two flights of stairs to room and three up if at garden area but we managed. I should have asked for lower room tho so my fault.

The duty manager was amazing when we checked in, even helping to park our car securely and carry our bags to the apartment. Above and beyond! We last stayed at Hostal Abril in 2011 and tge service stood out then, too!

Very clean and inexpensive rooms 5 minutes walk from Nerja bus station. 10 minutes walk down to the bustling bars and restaurants at the seafront. Very friendly check in experience.

Not much insulation between the rooms. You can hear every tap, toilet flush and shower. There was also a kettle and two cups but, strangely, no tea or coffee.
