The hostal is very central located. Plaza del Castillo is around the corner, and St. Nicholas Street, full of bars and restaurants, is around the other corner. Alex welcomed me and checked me in, gave me a map and some useful recommendations. He was kind and welcoming throughout the stay. The room was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable, there was no noticeable noise from the outside. On the day I was leaving, I left my luggage in one of the lockers at the front office for a few hours, and picked it up before leaving Pamplona. I would be happy to stay in Hostal Ariazu again.

The individual AC unit worked both cold & warm air in Feb(had to close windows because of weekend party noise)**great location: 10min walk from bus station & everything is right outside the door! (Taxi to train station ~12€)

I booked the double/twin room & there was not room for a chair…it just had a small stool.

Beds were comfortable. The shower was strong, although I had to keep adjusting the water temperature. The AC unit was strong in my room. The windows overlooking the street below were surprisingly good at blocking sound, although the street partying on the opening Saturday night of San Fermain? Nothing blocks that out ; ) The room size was quite big - it could accommodate 3 people. The day staff was very helpful - calling to reserve a taxi to meet me to ensure I got to the train station on time after watching the crazies run with the bulls.

There is no breakfast, not even for purchase. The only coffee available is €1 in the lobby. No in-room kettle and the fridge is a small communal one in the lobby. There is filtered water both hot and cold in the lobby, but the hot was pretty finicky. I really didn’t like the wall gel in the shower for my hair. Made it pretty stringy.

Right in the Centre of the City, nice clean room with AC. Close to everything. Coffee and tea machine in the foyer, hot water available if you have your own tea and coffee.

Parking for one night was 45 euros. This was due to the festival, normally 15 euros.

A simple place but a 10/10 from us because the six key things we look for in a room have all been tackled professionally. Comfy bed, soundproof room, nice bedside lighting (too often overlooked), good shower, unbeatable location, easy parking. Very good value.

Everything was great. (We were confused by the message about the reception hours. If you've pre-booked this is irrelevant, you can still get in. Our fault though, we missed their WA message).

Pamplona is surprisingly nice. Very relaxed feel and the Hostal was perfect for our visit. It was great to have someone from the staff to talk to and to get recommendations from. Very refreshing in this age of access codes and virtual interaction.

The parking was very close to the hostal but it was expensive. A car is not needed to visit the interesting part of the city.

The sound proofing of the room is absolutely insane. We went during the peak of San Fermin and sleeping was very easy. So nice to get a good night sleep while the entire city party's all night.

Knowledge of San Fermin and surrounding area was a little lacking. I would have expected more knowledge.

Cozy room and great lobby area for chilling out.

For some reason the ventilation smelt bad sometimes but sometimes it was working well. Our room had its window looking at the inner yard so maybe the clean air wasn’t always fresh..

Its the 3rd time staying at the hotel.. I think price - location-room balance is great. Right in the heart of Pamplona plus 30 mins walking distance 15min by public transport from the train station which works great for me.

Staff is great, they send you all instructions with code of entry. Once I arrived and my battery was low so I didn't have the code, my bad, then entry was a bit more complicated.

This is a 2star hotel so not fancy. But - clean, modern, quiet at night, nice sheets, towels and pillows. Nice bathroom. I had a single room with a double bed. It was a decent size. Helpful front desk staff. Excellent location right by the main square. Good price.

For the price, nothing to complain about.
