Third year staying in Porto Drach and won't be the last. Even Studio Apartment has sun beds on balcony ! Kitchen well equipped with full fridge and freezer too if you want to buy in food and ice etc. Supermarkets in the town or up steps behind the Hotel by the caves. The Hotel also sells water, ice and some other items if you don't want to carry too much. We find that everything from location, staff, rooms is perfect here. Quite a taxi ride from airport if you're doing it by yourself rather than a package holiday, but A42 bus runs regularly from outside airport, takes just over an hour and costs only 13.50 Euros each. Good option if you don't have loads of luggage and are fit enough! Get off bus at Carrer del Mestral, turn left down Carrer de la Marina or the next turn and and only about 20 mins walk through the small streets to the town and to the harbourside. No problem when the sun is shining!! Up steps behind the Hotel (5 mins) there is a bus stop by the Caves of Drach which will take you to S'illot, Sa Coma, Cala Mayor and Cala Bona if you fancy a day out (425) too.

We booked the junior suite with terrace, definitely recommend. Plenty of space in the apartment for a family of four and the terrace was huge with a lovely view over the harbour. Good bar/restaurant at the hotel and nice pool. Lots of restaurants within 5 mins walking distance. The beach is a 10 min walk - very pretty with lots of boat trips from the neighbouring harbour. Caves of Drach 5 min walk from the rear of the hotel. We visited at the height of the summer tourist season but Porto Cristo was quiet and relaxed. Airport transfers booked through hotel - very good service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the aparthotel. The views were exceptional, and everything was very clean, with beautiful, spacious rooms. It’s in a great location, within easy reach of the city centre, the beach, and local shops. The apartment facilities were very comfortable, and my kids absolutely loved the pool. The day before our arrival, we were informed that our room was already occupied, so we would be given an alternative apartment. The staff offered us the choice between two separate rooms in the same aparthotel or a family suite in a different hotel. They assured us that we would be moved to a junior apartment in the aparthotel the following day. Although we accepted the change with some apprehension, the staff did everything they could to reassure us and make sure my family was fully accommodated. They were exceptionally professional and helpful. Special thanks to Soraya and Matias, who were especially polite, attentive, and accommodating. We loved everything about the aparthotel and wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends and family. We will definitely be coming back!

Can’t think of anything

This is my second time staying here, and again I was really happy with the choice. The studio apartment I booked was clean, spacious, and had a great view. I asked for a view over the marina and I got a beautiful one. Porto Cristo is compact, so the property is within walking distance of all the local amenities, including the beach and Cuevas Drach, as well as the bus to Manacor, to Palma, and the airport. The apartment has a full-size fridge, which is great for avoiding having to eat out all the time. Though the restaurant downstairs also makes excellent food, available all day.

Where do I start. What a fantastic place to spend a holiday. We arrived quite late and were greeted by a guy on reception who booked us in, showed us to our room and was very friendly and professional. The room was super clean, very well equipped and had a magnificent view of the harbour. The whole family loved it. The breakfast next morning was great, lots of hot and cold choices and great options for the kids. The facilities are excellent, the pool area was very clean and we never had issues getting a sun bed. The hotel also has board games on request, a small library and we were also able to borrow equipment when we went to the beach. Lastly I’d like to say the staff were absolutely amazing, Mat and his team create a friendly but very professional atmosphere. They go out of their way to be helpful, we had a minor issue with our room and they immediately offered us a new room and helped us to move. Wonderful hotel, superb staff and a small town with so many great restaurants.

It was in a fabulous location, was clean & comfortable and the staff were friendly

We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening. My daughter chose peking duck cannelloni. The sauce tasted really bad, rancid and very unpleasant. I tried a small amount and agreed. We spoke to the main waiter who offered her another meal but was also rather sarcastic suggesting that because we were English, we only ate chicken or fish & chips. Less than 12 hours later my daughter was violently ill on our return journey home and remains unwell today. I only had one mouthful and also felt unwell but not as bad as my daughter.

The location is fantastic with great views across the marina and walking distance to everything in Porto Cristo. The pool is fabulous and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our studio apartment was basic but had everything we needed and a great balcony to watch the world go by. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The bar is great also.

Literally the only thing we’d change is the music in the bar! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

location with really nice views on the port, close to the town center, yet far away from all the noisy places.

The water in the swimming pool could have been a bit warmer, yet given the time of the season, I understand it made no sense to start the heating yet. Otherwise the pool is really nice, has a lifeguard sitting next to it and a table service from the nearby bar. What I really disliked, was the noise from the marina nextdoor, however to be fair, they operate 9-5, so if you are a big sleeper, or a fan of after-lunch naps, this won´t be the best place for you. I believe 90% of guests won´t mind this at all.

Great rooms with a great view. Outstanding hotel in this area. The breakfast was very affordable (12€) and offered a great variation of food and spanish specialties (and prosecco!) We can also recommand the restaurant for dinner. Great cocktails, super-friendly waiters, a great view over the port and an outstanding paella. Definatetly planning to come back. +free parking in front of the hotel

Nothing to complain about

This location was central. Spotlessly clean apartment as were the restaurant and pool. Staff very polite and helpful. Apartment was roomy with large furnished balcony overlooking marina. Fully equipped if you wished to cook yourself. Pool was very clean with showers and toilets. Pool was attended by lifeguard. Great adult location with very few under 15s.

Our balcony at the front overlooking marina was also above the restaurant. The cooking smells were ok but the constant thump of deep base music from 10am to 10pm was quite irritating.Bar service in restaurant at night was quite slow with some staff chatting to guests( friends) for long periods and ignoring others requiring service. Had to go to bar and butt into conversations to order drinks. Drinks quite expensive and not generous.
