BAMBI APARTAMENTOS Room 320 - 1 bedroom apartment Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife (PdlC) 21 > 31 October 2024 Solo Traveller. Self Catering My stay at Bambi Apartamentos was excellent and I am giving a very good Review for my visit! This good Apartment block with economic pricing exceeded my expectations and was exactly what I was looking for. LOCATION Important - Bambi Apartamentos is in a quieter area and quite close to the sea. That means all walks locally are generally flat or slight sloping ground. Importantly, there are NO huge hills to climb - unlike many other accommodation places in PDLC! Lots of 'normal' 'non-Tourist' shops close by before hitting onto the Tourist Shops as you get close to the sea. Bambi Apartamentos / Astoria Hotel is a quiet place to stay. There is no Bar or Restaurant and no Entertainment. There is a a cafe / dining area, used for Breakfast. Self Catering guests can include Breakfast in their booking or use on a daily basis and pay each time. Bambi Gourmet Restaurant is part of the same building, operated by different owners - a Fine Dining Restaurant. Bambi Apartamentos and Astoria Hotel are on separate streets on the same Block. They share the common facilities fully. All access is through the Bambi Apartamentos side of the complex. HOTEL RECEPTION Reception is manned 24/7. Everyone on Reception is wonderfully friendly, helpful and always smiling. Multi language also. They are always willing to give great advice and suggestions for things to do. And a Pool Table in the Lounge area. WALKING DISTANCE Big Big Supermarket - 3 minutes 24hrs convenience stores - 7 minutes Café / Bars - 2 mins Beach - 8 mins Modern Mall shopping centre - 12 mins Shops - 3 mins Promenade - 8 mins Old Town - 15 mins Restaurants - 2 to 15 mins - LOTS! My 1 Bedroom Apartment was simple, clean, spotless, comfortable, warm well equipped. CLEANERS WERE AMAZING! BOOKING dot Com restricted Review length. See Google Review!

I did not like the length of Good Review I wanted to give Bambi Apartamentos!

I have stayed at Bambi Apartments twice a year for past few years and would not consider anywhere else. From the welcome on arriving be it a known person or not it brings a smile. I am disabled so this greeting makes you so confident and assured you are in safe hands. Anything that is needed attention is given but there was nothing. One thing made my stay so much more relaxing is the TV American Series or anything in English is now automatically set. I stay in most evenings but frequent the local restaurants/cafe midday and with the location of the Bambi and supermarket it is perfect. I have nothing but compliments to the whole team. WELL DONE BAMBI - first rate. THANK YOU -Dorothy Marsden (I will be visiting again on 18th November for 20 nights and looking forward to it, as always.

I travelled with my mum, and this was our second time visiting the area. We had previously stayed at Astoria but preferred Bambi this time, especially for its lovely balconies. The staff were incredibly helpful—whether it was calling a taxi, recommending great local restaurants, or bringing us an extra pan for cooking, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. Most importantly for us, the area is mostly flat, which made it easy to get around. We could walk to the supermarket, shopping mall, beach, coffee shops, and restaurants within just a few minutes. The pool was also a great bonus, especially on the warmer days. Highly recommend for a relaxed and convenient stay!

I would have preferred paying in advance instead of at the hotel, but it was very clear and they accept a wide range of payment methods.

Location could not be better - right in the town and near the sea/beaches, next door to a supermarket, and loads of places to eat and drink on your doorstep! Bed was super comfy, and all the staff were lovely!! We were lucky enough to get one of the ground floor apartments, so we didn't just get a balcony but a sizeable tiled patio that trapped the evening sun. We will be back again in 2 years! Thank you so much for our stay!

There was a knack to the lock on our door which didn't bother us once we were shown the trick - made everytime we came home interesting to see which one of us would get he door to open first! Never ate the breakfast, so I can't comment on that... The only other thing we are disappointed by is that we can't bring the kids here next year just to use it as a base to sleep as the location is perfect - but if kids were allowed, I am sure the pool and communal areas would be a lot less calm and relaxing so can't mark them down for that!

All staff from Reception, Cleaning Staff and Maintenance people were efficient, professional and all in a pleasant manner. Have stayed here on various occasions for the above reasons and its convenient location. Had a couple of problems one the fridge and T.V. breaking down but both attended to immediately. Well done to all.

The new Stream television system they have has changed since March and you cannot change audio to English as you could for American series such as NCIS, FBI, Chicago Fire. I am a solo traveller age 78 and very rarely went out in evening stayed for 21 nights and found this very very disappointing. Nothing in English except BBC News.

Good centro location. Nice fridge, concertina line to hang clothes, kettle, toaster and teapot!! 🫖 😀 perfectly clean, lift and nice quiet apartment. Lovely pleasant and polite staff, always ready to advise and help. Thankyou.

We had a fan, which was sufficient for the end of October, but no doubt the aircon would be needed in summer or at least another fan. The ceiling fans are worth putting in, which I would recommend. Booking.com didn't show that there wasn't a sofa. It was acceptable for a week, but I wouldn't have reserved for longer without a sofa. This was misrepresentation on behalf of booking.com.. not hotel!!

I liked everything- perfect location & service ! Staff working very hard -thanks to cleaners ! ( Receptionists always with a smile & great attitude to quests -big thanks to Esperanza,Dalai(expecially kind & supportive Fabiola👌!)Enjoyed in a small but very warm pool & very good breakfast. Very happy & coming back again😊

Nothing to complain… about the noise… but we enjoy in a heart of wonderful Puerto do la cruise!

Great location, close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Lago de Martinez. Staff very helpful with a 24 hour reception. Modern rooms with everything needed for a short stay and exceptionally clean. Although there is no air conditioning the fan provided was very effective. Extremely comfortable beds. They should be commended for the breakfast they offer, there is a choice between continental, Spanish or a healthy option, in addition there is fruit salad and a basket of mini pastries on each table. Also available are yogurts, fruit, preserves, additional pastries/donuts and bread for toast. Coffee, tea and juices are also offered. The pool area has sun beds and tables/chairs available and is again kept very clean.

Wi-Fi is only available in common areas which could be a problem for some (we live in the South of the island so could use our data without issue). The lack of a toilet in the breakfast area was a little inconvenient. Only one pillow per guest, it would be useful to offer additional pillows (placed in wardrobe with the blanket) for those who require them.

I loved everything about this place. The reception staff and the breakfast staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. I could tell it was clean because I didn't get dusty, dirty feet when walking barefoot. The location is perfectly central, there is a good supermarket around the corner and it felt safe. The beds were firm, just how I like them. It was warm in the room but that was to be expected without air-con. The fan helped to keep the room cooler. The bathroom was clean, good shower with plenty of hot water. I didn't use the small kitchen facility but it did look well equipped. This place certainly exceeded my expectations and was great value for money.

Everything was just right. I would have preferred a higher room as my balcony view wasn't great but I was out most of the day anyway.

Super friendly staff who helped with everything I needed. The room was cleaned everyday and towels changed 4 times a week. The location is absolutely amazing just 2min walk from the sea side walking street. And parking garage was a huge plus! Bed was also comfy and shower pressure amazing. All thought warm water run out pretty quick but since i was alone it didn’t matter. Breakfast was okey.
