- nice hotel, nothing extraordinary - beautiful view from the room and a big balcony - nice pool - good food for breakfast and dinner and a lot of variety

- for dinner the drinks were not included (but I understand it’s usual for Tenerife) - the hotel has a private parking but with very few spots which are all occupied at evening. Since I booked this place especially for the parking, it was quite disappointing to spend every night 15min looking for a parking spot and then having to walk 15min back and forth from the car to the hotel… - the design of the hotel was quite old, but in good condition - the cleaning was not that thorough - quite far from the beach and up a hill - it was not a problem for us, we enjoyed the walk, but maybe for some other people it’s important

Location was great - walking distance to stores and the ocean. Breakfast & dinner had plenty of variation between days. Bed was comfortable, especially the pillows. Great view from the balcony.

The shower was outdated - showerhead was a bit broken, there was water spilling outside the shower. It was a small inconvenience though. Parking spaces were limited, but there are available spaces on the streets nearby.

Views and rooftops were great. Also, view from the room, big terrace. We loved it. All clean and comfortable. Staff were also great.

We were prepared for the parking spaces to be busy, and they were. We parked the car about 7 minutes away all week, but it wasn't a problem for us. The biggest disappointment was the ice cold water in the pool. We went to the beach 50 minutes away to swim. My husband took a swim at the pool a few times for refreshing, but unfortunately, I couldn't. The choice of food was quite good, but we came to the conclusion that it is prepared without "love". In the hotel, 90% of visitors were in the age group 60+, you have to be ready for that vibes. There were no small children and loud parties.

Excellent location and surprisingly quiet at night time. The bedding is good quality and the bed was very comfortable. The room is a great size, bathroom and shower are immaculate and a great balcony overlooking the pool and Mount Teide. The room was cleaned every day by very pleasant staff. The rooftop bar and jacuzzi area is fabulous and the views are stunning

The entertainment area is too big making it feel sterile and intimidating rather than inviting and intimate. I am coeliac and options were limited with many dishes not being allergy labelled. The only g/f desserts available are fruit, yogurt and jelly which becomes monotonous. G/f bread and cake was available on request only at breakfast but both were not very pleasant.

Great location and a swimming pool with direct sunshine from 09:30 to 17:30 in December/January, something which is hard to find in Puerto de la Cruz. Lots of space around the pool, as the guests tend to be older Northern Europeans. Great choice if you prefer to stay by the pool all day long.

The quality of food ingredients seemed to be poor. The New Year's gala dinner featured a variety of seafood which was tasteless. I did not dare to taste oysters, they did not look fresh at all. Plenty of leftovers from the gala dinner were served during dinner buffet in the following days. Both the meats, fish, and desserts were of rather mediocre quality. Better to eat dinner out in town.

The hotel is modern and in a good location, near public transport, beaches, shops, restaurants and a small shopping centre. It has a nice pool area, bar, restaurant and roof top bar worth checking out. Housekeeping cleaned room every day. Much of the area is on high ground as is the hotel. Across the road from the hotel there are 140 steps which take you to the beach, restaurants etc. This may pose a challenge for those less mobile, but taxies are always an option and are not expensive. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. The dining room is large where a lot of seating is always available. There was an excellent variety of food available for breakfast and dinner, a buffet style service. The catering manager and staff are efficient and professional. The staff were excellent and did endeavour to facilitate us in every was possible. We found Javier in reception had a good standard of English and was most helpful when we arrived and had to organise a taxi at short notice when the bus to the airport failed to arrive.

The hotel is currently being renovated, and it’s noticeable — everything is gradually improving. In our room, the sliding bathroom door didn’t close completely, as some of its fittings were slightly worn. However, this is understandable, as the renovation is still in progress, and it didn’t spoil the overall pleasant impression of our stay.

Food for breakfast and dinner was great quality with plenty of choices. Staff were friendly and supportive. The views to Teide Mountain from the balcony were superb. The room was cleaned every day and the beds were quite comfortable.

There was a site next door starting to work pretty early in the morning. The location was good, but do not expect to find a slot in the parking area outside the hotel. It was not difficult to find one 5 mins walk from the hotel in February but the ramp down to the hotel is steep and might cause a problem to some people.

Good selection. Tasty food.

Husband was looking forward to playing the piano. As he has in the past. However, piano has gone so he was a bit disappointed with that. Didn't spoil the holiday though.

Excellent hotel, wonderful staff. Very good breakfasts. We did not pay for dinner right away, but decided to go and see (dinner costs 15€ without drinks per person) and were pleasantly surprised, a great variety of dishes. I would like to separately note that during our stay, breakfasts and dinners were not repeated.

The hotel has a small parking lot, but due to the renovation work that is being carried out at the hotel, part of the parking lot is occupied by employees who are doing the renovation and building materials, therefore there are very few parking spaces, and it is very difficult to find a parking lot near the hotel, sometimes it took more than an hour and a half to find a place.
